Comparative investigation of hybrid FLC-PI, FLC-PID and classical PI and PID controllers has been made to find advantages of any of those controllers under measurement of accumulated angle during shock and step response parameters. In this paper, from four controllers which can be used to control parameters of MEMS gyro, only one is under investigation that responsible for keeping a standing wave in the fix angular position providing accurate angle rate measurement. The method is based on the symbolic analysis of short series (∼300 points) of RR-intervals of a single-lead electrocardiogram. To obtain the initial symbol sequences, 4 different methods of formation of symbols from the time series were used. Using the SVM classifier with a linear kernel, a selection of significant symbols was made. The most significant symbols became the input parameters for the SVM model with RB F kernel. The model has shown high efficiency: the sensitivity on the test sets was 70-82%, and the specificity was 73-77%. The proposed method uses the posterior probability, which has been accompanied by a class label for each new sample, being a criterion of the results reliability. For the obtained model, the threshold value of the posterior probability was 91%. It has been shown that the use of the posterior probability does not impair or improve the quality of the forecast. For modeling hypertorus structures, an infinite Petri net model has been developed and investigated. Based on the parametric specification of hypertorus models, an infinite system of linear homogenous equations has been derived. Using the earlier developed ad-hoc algorithm, a parametric solution of the system has been obtained. We can compose, in an explicit form, a solution that contains all the positive components. Thus, the model is a p-invariant Petri net for any given size and number of dimensions of hypertorus. The required experimental conditions to reach the size of nanoparticles under 50 nm are: dropwise addition of precursor solutions zinc acetate dihydrate and sodium hydroxide in absolute ethanol while stirring in ice bath and isopropanol washing. Obtained ZnO nanopowder was mixed with different nickel chloride amounts by impregnation method and then annealed at 300°C in air. By adding 1% and 5% of nickel a combined system of structures was resulted: ZnO, ZnNixO alloys, and NixO all of which showed a better photocatalytic activity than as-synthetized material. When Ni was used in 10% quantity and the resulting materials showed no alloy phase but only composite structure, ZnO and NixO and exhibited the best photocatalytic activity. In this work the characteristics of all samples were studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD), which reveals the crystallite growth with the increase of the nickel concentration. By scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) the morphological properties were examined. Light absorption characteristics were measured in the wavelength range from 350 to 800 nm (UV-Vis spectroscopy). The homogeneity region, variation of the crystal lattice and oxygen stoichiometry of the Gd123:Ln solid solutions were studied as a function of the substitution degree <tex>$boldsymbol{x}$</tex>. It was shown that the homogeneity region becomes wider when going from Eu<sup>3+</sup> <tex>$(boldsymbol{x}leq 0.35)$</tex> to La<sup>3</sup>+ <tex>$(boldsymbol{x}leq 0.5)$</tex>, but for all lanthanides the symmetry changes from orthorhombic to tetragonal for <tex>$boldsymbol{x}sim 0.05$</tex>.
