Moreover, this study attempts to reveal tourists' sustainability awareness based on the triplebottom-line concept and which dimensions are considered the most important for tourists. Research Methodology: Data were obtained from a survey of visitors (16 years old and over) to the four tourist objects in Nganjuk. Furthermore, this study utilized Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and ANOVA tests to evaluate the differences between types of tourists and their views on sustainability. Results: The number of types of tourists found in the Nganjuk tourist destination was change, amusement, rupture, interest, and dedication. The ANOVA test results show a different tourist perception of sustainability issues from the five types of tourists in Nganjuk. Limitations: This study involved only young respondents who did not consider tourists beyond a young age. In addition, this study focused only on one regency in Indonesia. Contributions: To create a tourism industry that can last and protect the environment, the vital role of tourists cannot be ignored. This research makes a theoretical contribution by expanding the theory to explain aspects that have never been studied before regarding tourists' understanding of the sustainability issue in the tourism sector. Novelty: This study is one of the first to discuss tourists' perceptions of sustainability issues in the Indonesian context.","PeriodicalId":268506,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Sustainable Tourism and Entrepreneurship","volume":"24 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139355568","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Research Methodology: A sample of 226 individuals from the RMG sector in Bangladesh was surveyed using a well-designed questionnaire. The data were examined, and the study's hypotheses were tested, using the statistical program SPSS V.25. In IBM SPSS, the chi-square test and other statistical techniques were used to examine the data. The study investigates the relationship between the independent variables, including communication, employee recognition, and productivity, and the dependent variable, worker perception, using a conceptual framework. Results: There is a positive and significant relationship between employees' perceptions of communication and their involvement in the decision-making process. The study also shows that there is a positive and significant association between workers' perceptions of employee recognition, productivity, and involvement in decision-making in Bangladesh's RMG industry. Additionally, the organization's decision-making process is significantly impacted by employee participation. Limitations: While many studies examined the workers’ participation in decision-making in the various sectors, only a few studies have focused on the RMG sectors to explore the effects of communication, employee recognition, and productivity on the workers’ participation in decision-making. Contributions: The study reveals that the organization’s total effectiveness is reflected in how deeply workers are involved in decision-making. The degree of involvement is a key determining element since encouraging people to engage instead of just dragging them along is essential for enhancing performance and ensuring commitment.","PeriodicalId":268506,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Sustainable Tourism and Entrepreneurship","volume":"31 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139355183","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Outstretching the Pandemic of COVID-19, badly hit with wildlife tourism sector too. Nevertheless, it is a contemporary need to rejuvenate the current market segments to reconstruct tourism industry potentials. This study explores the ways and means to revival of wildlife tourism operations with the challenges of COVID-19. Methodology/approach: This study used a qualitative research approach. Primary data was collected from 16 wildlife service providers at Minneriya national park using the purposive sampling technique. Content analysis was used to analyze the data. Results/findings: The study's findings revealed operational, financial, labor-related, communication, technology & economic impact as the existing challenges in wildlife tourism operations during pandemics & introducing recreational activities, health & safety measures, technology, policy planning, etc. should be key priorities to revive the wildlife tourism sector in a post-COVID-19 scenario. Limitations: The study limited to the Minneriya National Park and given the number of existing national parks in Sri Lanka, the geographical region is comparatively smaller. Contribution: The outcome of this study recommends the Sri Lankan policy makers to identify the gaps to promote wildlife tourism from the perspective of service providers. The pandemic has created a sustainable platform to rejuvenate the wildlife tourism which it has been enabled to address the issues in long-term. Novelty: Based on the results, there should be strong transformational strategies to avoid the worst effects of future operation: such as government involvement, financial facilities, promotions, and research & development. This study identified a response mechanism to attract travelers to achieve a niche market segment. It will manifest the significance to the future generation, policymakers, and academic students to grab value scale for future operation in new normal conditions and post-COVID-19.","PeriodicalId":268506,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Sustainable Tourism and Entrepreneurship","volume":"50 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122441234","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The available tourist attractions are the main attractions and characteristics that distinguish Ngada Regency from other districts in East Nusa Tenggara. Then, judging from the enthusiasm of local Muslim tourists visiting tourist destinations, Ngada Regency has the opportunity to implement halal tourism. However, the facilities and infrastructure available in tourist destinations and lodging places must follow halal tourism principles. Limitations: This study has limited data coverage in an Eastern Indonesia region that has a Muslim minority demographic. Research Methodology: To accomplish the research purpose, a systematic literature review (SLR) approach and preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and Meta-analysis (PRISMA) guidelines were used to address the research objective. Through methodical literature research, bibliometric analysis, and the use of the VOS viewer software, all chosen papers were thoroughly reviewed, summarized, and synthesized. Results: Combining The Google Scholar, Emerald Insight, and Lens.ORG databases resulted in 43 articles. An increasing variety of tourism destinations are planning to become \"carbon neutral\" as pressure on the tourism industry to reduce greenhouse gas emissions grows. This is because tourism is now widely acknowledged as a significant contributor to global climate change due to the significant greenhouse gas emissions associated with air travel.
