Rudenko outlined the application of nano materials for reducing atomic-scale wear and tear. Engine wear and tear have been greatly reduced by using graphene, one of the most promising materials in a variety of industries, as a lubricant. Because of its structure at the nanoscale, graphene has made significant strides in reducing friction. The synthesis of materials with distinct properties might be possible through atomic-scale manipulation. One side of a lubricant, for instance, might be chemically active, while the other might be inert. As a result, there would be less friction on both sides and one side would be able to adhere to materials with ease.","PeriodicalId":263587,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Research In Science & Engineering","volume":"393 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122783595","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This system is designed to reduce transmission latency and bandwidth utilization in networks requiring transmission of data from multiple source nodes to multiple destination nodes. By implementing this system, communication between source and destination nodes can be achieved without the need for a dedicated server for communication. It can handle multiple communication nodes simultaneously in a reliable manner. This system uses a shared network approach where each node has access to the same transmission channel for achieving efficient data communication. The system also facilitates better management of nodes by sending control messages and acknowledgements to prevent redundant messages. It utilizes the IEEE 802.11 standards in order to provide a standard and reliable communication medium. This system can deliver secure, reliable and cost-effective communication for transmission of data in cellular networks.","PeriodicalId":263587,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Research In Science & Engineering","volume":"93 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124660526","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study used a quantitative and descriptive design of which convenience sampling was used to select 250 respondents (senior members, workers (TEWU), students (private car owners), commercial taxi drivers, shuttle drivers as well as minibus drivers). Questionnaire and structured interviews were the main data collection instruments used. The data was then analysed with the help of Statistical Product for Service Solution using percentages and frequencies and presented by using tables and charts using Excel 2020 version. However, the responses from the interviews were transcribed verbatim and discussed thematically based on the objectives of the study. It was found out that rising car ownership on campus influences road traffic congestion on campus. Also, road traffic congestion waste people’s time, delay movements, increase local temperature, increase expenses on fuel, low productivity and road accidents. Moreover, private cars and taxis were the type of cars used by majority of the respondents. It was also found that rise in car ownership, especially private cars, taxis, minibuses and shuttle buses were the major cause of road traffic congestion on campus. It is, therefore, recommended that the transport section of the University should provide enough spaces on campus for car stopping and parking. Lastly, the transport section of the University should educate the car users on campus on the essence of traffic regulators and others.","PeriodicalId":263587,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Research In Science & Engineering","volume":"219 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122845053","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the lack of reliable and securecommunication between nodes of the WSN often hinders the realization of many of its potential applications. In order to overcome these issues, we propose an interference-resistant Communication Framework for Sensor Nodes in Wireless Sensor Networks (IRCF-WSN) which is based on the idea of combining different types of compatible transmission schemes to establish a secure and reliable communication link between nodes. The proposed framework aims to provide a secure and reliable connection between nodes of the WSN irrespective of the interference environment. In order to accomplish this goal, the framework combines several interference-resistant techniques like frequency hopping, spread spectrum, and beamforming to form multiple channels of connectivity whichare subsequently used for communication. Additionally, the framework also utilizes a novel routing algorithm to ensure that the most secure and reliable path is chosen for the communication. Simulation results indicate that using the proposed framework, the communication performance of the WSN can be improved significantly compared to existing solutions.","PeriodicalId":263587,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Research In Science & Engineering","volume":"268 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125821392","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aim of this work is to examine the antibacterial capabilities of nickel nanoparticles generated from Launaea taraxacifolia (African lettuce or wild lettuce). Leaves of African lettuce (Launaea taraxacifolia) were gathered in Esa-Oke, Nigeria's Osun State. In the morning, a sterile container was used to collect urine. The urine sample was evaluated and cultured using C.L.E.D. medium, MacConkey agar, and Sabouraud dextrose agar. Traditional methods including as morphology, gram staining, biochemical analysis, and sugar fermentation were used to identify the isolates. African lettuce was cut into small pieces after being washed in distilled water. A nickel nanoparticle was made using a conventional approach from African lettuce leaf extract. Transmission Electron Microscopy was used to characterize the nanoparticle, which was done via a drop coating method (SEM). The isolates were identified as Klebsiella sp. and Micrococcus sp. using Bergy's manual for bacterial identification. Nickel nanoparticles and African lettuce leaf extract were tested for antibacterial activities against Klebsiella sp. and Micrococcus sp. utilizing agar well diffusion methods. The comprehensive Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) photos clearly demonstrate that nickel nanoparticles have identical morphologies and sizes, according to the findings of the study of generated nanoparticles. Nickel nanoparticles with a diameter distribution of 10–20 nanometers are visible in the TEM images. The zones of inhibition for nickel nanoparticles against tested bacterial isolates (Klebsiella sp and Micrococcus sp) were 2 mm and 0 mm, respectively, however the zones of inhibition for Launaea taraxacifolia extract were substantial (5 mm and 7 mm).
