Based on the external excitation method, the vibration sensors and measurement point positions were reasonably arranged according to the number of nodes in the structural components. Through the data processing of the detection unit, the vibration response can be effectively obtained and provide a verification basis for the simulation results. The finite element software Midas Civil was used to model and analyze structural component models, and the results of the first five modes and natural frequencies were obtained. The structural data of modal analysis will be compared and integrated into the virtual environment model through VRML. A detailed disassembly and inspection was carried out to reveal the reason of the failure. It was found that the failure of one blade at the root led to jamming of other blades. Then the jammed blades experience sever rubbing and contact with the intake duct. Experimental measurements of material properties and a retrospective examination of the manufacturing process revealed that the yield strength of the material was lower than the design value, and the fillet radius at the blade root was smaller than specifications. The root cause of the fatigue failure of the compressor blades in this incident was attributed to substandard machining quality and material properties, which leads to crack initiation and fatigue propagation until failure occurred. The method is based on the measured natural frequencies for several bending vibration modes of an intact and cracked beam and the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO). To explain the approach, we calculate the relative frequency shifts (RFS) for eight vibration modes for all possible damage cases. To this aim, we use a mathematical relation deduced in previous research. Next, we monitor the natural frequencies, and in case of arising changes, we calculate the RFSs. We subtract, separately for all modes, the measured RFSs from all calculated RFSs. Considering the absolute values the subtractions achieve, we obtain eight surfaces that achieve elevation zero if the calculated and measured RFSs coincide. The zero-elevation points form curves with different shapes for the different vibration modes. The intersection of these curves, thus the location where all surfaces have zero elevation, indicates the damage location and severity. Adding the elevation values of the eight surfaces point by point, we obtain a new surface that has two points (due to symmetry) with zero elevation. The coordinates of these points indicate the damage parameters. We use the generated surface as an objective function and find the coordinates of the minima involving PSO. SET response of SOI FinFET at 14 nm technology node after TID exposure is carried out at different dose level. Results show that the drain current peak presents a slight fluctuant with total dose, while the collected charge and the bipolar amplification coefficient first decrease with total dose and then increase. Particularly, such equipment can be effectively used while conducting finishing technological operations, e.g., lapping and polishing of different machine parts. The present paper is focused on developing the control system for the novel design of a vibratory lapping-polishing machine driven by six solenoids. The main purpose consists in providing the circular trajectory of the working member and ensuring the machining uniformity at each point of the surface being treated. In such a case, it is proposed to actuate the solenoids with the specified time shift depending on the forced frequency needed to be provided. The duration of the signal actuating the solenoid is equal to one-sixth of the total duration of a cycle (period) of the working body oscillation. The corresponding control approach is developed and simulated in the Tinkercad application, while the control system is designed based on the Arduino software and hardware. In addition, the laboratory prototype of the vibratory lapping-polishing machine and the corresponding control system are implemented in practice. The performed experimental investigations substantiate the possibilities of generating the circular oscillations of the working member of the vibratory lapping-polishing machine. The effects of falling distance, mixing time and water content on rolling segregation of cement-stabilized macadam were analyzed by three indexes, including repose Angle of pile, key sieve passing rate and cement dosage. The results show that the segregation of mixture can be increased significantly with the increase of drop distance. The separation degree of the mixture can be effectively controlled by controlling the unloading distance within 70 cm. Mixing time has little effect on the Angle of rest and gradation segregation of the mixture, but has significant effect on the distribution uniformity of cement. Indoor mixing time should reach more than 45 s. When the mixing water content is less than the optimal water content, the segregation of the mixture is serious. When the moisture content increased to 1.5 %, the mixture showed obvious bleeding phenomenon. This study aims to investigate the change of retroreflective coefficient of traffic markings at different positions on the road after being rolled by vehicles. A two-month follow-up study was conducted on a specific section of the road, focusing on the sideline and middle line of the lane. The retroreflective coefficient instrument was utilized to collect data on the retroreflective coefficient of the markings. Results revealed that the middle line, due to more frequent vehicle rolling, exhibited a larger range in its retroreflective coefficient as compared to the sideline of the lane. The change in reflection ability of hot melt markings, when rolled by the vehicle, depends on the mosaic condition of the glass beads within the coating. It was observed that the rolling of the vehicle had a direct impact on the retroreflective coefficient of the hot melt marking line. The rhombic dodecahedron lattice was bending-dominated, while octet-truss lattice was stretching-dominated. The rhombic dodecahedron lattice fabricated by selective laser melting (SLM) was compressed by a universal testing machine, which was also investigated by finite element model. Afterwards, the validated numerical model was used to study the designed heterogeneous lattice. Calculations indicates that heterogeneous lattice structures outperform the rhombic dodecahedron lattice structure.
