This research is the development of nanoemulsion base preparation by applying a ternary diagram system using Chemix 7.00. This study aims to see the advantages of the Chemix 7.00 series program in determining the focus area for nanoemulsion in a mixture of oil phase (Isopropyl Myristate), smix (tween 80 and propylene glycol), and water at various ratios from 1 to 9 and 9 to 1 part. This research applies the high energy method with Ultra Turrax High Share Homogenization (HSH) at a speed of 20,000 rpm 15 minutes to form a nanoemulsion. All formulas were evaluated with the Chemix 7.00 program to see which formulas form a stable nanoemulsion area according to the standard criteria for nanoemulsion preparations in general. The result was 45 nanoemulsion bases were obtained. The use of the Chemix 7.00 ternary diagram yields 14 bases forming a nanoemulsion area with an average particle size of below 500 nm. Among the 14 formulas, there is 1 formula bases that are stable and meets the standard of nanoemulsion research, namely the nanoemulsion base with a ratio of 4.45.50 (oil, smix, water) with a particle size of 185.7 nm each, zeta - 28.2, PDI 0,2 mV, D90 measuring 120 nm and the TEM morphology is quite round. Determination of the nanoemulsion base area using the Chemix series 7.00 program is quite helpful in data processing so that optimal research results are obtained.","PeriodicalId":261787,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 1st International Conference on Health Science, ICHS 2020, 26-27 October 2020, Jakarta, Indonesia","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131238696","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aim of the study was to identify the association of age groups in different settings with self-protective behavior. An online cross-sectional survey was conducted between July and August 2020. A convenience sample of 440 respondents in Tangerang Selatan city was collected. The chisquare test was used for age comparisons. The results showed that the main self-protective behavior of wearing masks, maintaining physical distancing and washing hands ranged from 79.5% to 98.6%, 66.7% to 79.2%, and 63.2% to 67.2% respectively. Significantly, young people were 7.7 times more likely to wear masks than adults in convenience stores. The findings suggest that there may be an important indicator of effective messaging in different settings, especially to support people to adopt and maintain these behaviors in the future.","PeriodicalId":261787,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 1st International Conference on Health Science, ICHS 2020, 26-27 October 2020, Jakarta, Indonesia","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121183035","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The existing literature suggests that the increase of cesarean section (c-section) is predominantly due to advanced maternal age (AMA), particularly in nulliparous women. We examined the association between AMA and elective c-section in primiparous women with singleton pregnancy. This study used data from the 2017 Indonesia Demographic and Health Survey (IDHS). Multinomial logistic regression was performed to examine the relationship between AMA and elective c-section. The final sample analysis comprises 4,988 observations. This study found that AMA at birth significantly associated with elective c-section among primiparous women with singleton pregnancy (RRR: 7.98; 95% CI 4.85-13.11). The possible explanation of this finding is pre-pregnancy morbidities, abnormal labor, and uterine dysfunction among the AMA group. Despite the comprehensive dataset, the study has limitations. The design does not allow for a causal interpretation of the associations studied. Further research through cohort studies including biological variables and maternal preferences are recommended.","PeriodicalId":261787,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 1st International Conference on Health Science, ICHS 2020, 26-27 October 2020, Jakarta, Indonesia","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122859971","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
