The study employed the quantitative approach where data was collected from 83 respondents out of the study population of 223,033 at different levels in the Urban District at Unguja Island. A structured questionnaire was used to collect data and descriptive statistics was applied to come up with the results’ mean scores with the assistance of the Statistical Package for Social Sciences. The study established that Shehia leadership effectiveness was limited to assisting the marginalized and disadvantaged groups to get their rights, solving social challenges and preparing bylaws to be used on criminal prevention. Leaders did not take care to involve such government officers as teachers, social workers, doctors and police officers to join in various issues associated with crime prevention. The study recommended that Shehia leadership should go beyond assisting the marginalized and disadvantaged groups to get their rights, solving social challenges and preparing bylaws to be used on criminal prevention. Leaders should involve such government officers as teachers, social workers, doctors and police officers in dealing with various issues associated with crime prevention since such stakeholders have very important roles to perform toward crime prevention when involved.","PeriodicalId":261112,"journal":{"name":"Volume 2 Issue 2","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125092456","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The concurrent mixed-method designs were applied concomitantly with stratified and systematic sampling to select 124 clients for the study. The semi-structured questionnaires were used to collect data from 9 VICOBA groups located in 4 wards of the Nambis division. The quantitative data were analysed using the descriptive and Ordinary Least Square (OLS) regression analysis while the qualitative data was analysed using relational content analysis. The findings demonstrated that VICOBA played the informal social security role of prevention and protection, promotion of essential goods and services’ accessibility and fostering of opportunities and potentials positively and significantly. The study recommends the government formulate a policy which recognizes VICOBA’s informal social security functions. This will enable VICOBA to perform their informal social security roles effectively.","PeriodicalId":261112,"journal":{"name":"Volume 2 Issue 2","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130343259","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Lasem dubbed \"Small China\" because it was the initial city of the Chinese landing in Java. Lasem as one of the centers of the batik industry in Indonesia has unique and unique batik results that cannot found in other regions. Lasem's batik art is difficult to develop due to the Chinese batik artisans who are considered the most mastering the knowledge and traditions of Lasem's written batik but are reluctant to pass on their knowledge to the younger generation who are not their lineage. This research attempts to explain the form of Lasem Sekar Kencana written batik craft motifs in the batik company Lasem Sekar Kencana in the Village of Babagan, Lasem District, Rembang Regency. Methods of data collection are interviews, observation, and documentation. Data validity uses the Miles model triangulation technique. Findings: The form of batik craft Lasem motif in the batik company Lasem Sekar Kencana in Babagan Village Lasem District Rembang Regency is unique to the motives made by the skipper and is an acculturation between Chinese culture and Javanese (palace) and or with local culture (Lasem), as well as maintaining Lasem's classic colors in batik. The purpose of this study is to examine character education in the form of the Turonggo Yakso finger head using a descriptive qualitative approach. The strategy used in this study is snowball sampling. Data collection techniques were carried out by frank observation techniques, semi-structured interviews and documentation. Data collection was carried out in \"Sanggar Turonggo Yakso Purwo Budoyo\". Documents are obtained from photographs, interviews, and video observations. Data analysis used there are three ways, namely data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results of the study show that character education is not only sourced from characters who have good character, but also in characters who have bad character, so that from bad characters, humans must avoid it so that they become good-character human beings. This concept is the background for the creation of the form of the Jaranan Turonggo Yakso dance. Citation: Afif Widyanto, Edi Kurniadi, Adam Wahida (2019). To perform this, 80 female and male high school teachers who taught the tenth grade high school English textbook in Tehran, Iran were selected to participate in this study. Most of the participants were educated in teaching English as a foreign language major course (TEFL) during their higher education. The teachers were selected from different high schools such as Narjes, Jami, Hannan, and Farzanegan high schools in Tehran. To conduct the research in practice, the participants were asked to complete a textbook evaluation questionnaire (Beydokhtinezhad, Azarnoosh, & Abdolmanafi-Rokni, 2015). Then, 20 of the participating teachers were selected randomly and interview based on the interview protocol. Having collected raw data, descriptive statistics under the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 23 was run in order to analyze the teachers’ responses to each of the items on the questionnaire. Accretion is the gradual increase in size by the build up of matter due to gravity. Most astronomical objects, such as galaxies, stars, and planets, are formed through accretion processes from gaseous state. The term accretion mass has not yet incorporated in the life science to describe many biological situations like the difference between old and newborn, differential anatomical features or sporting standard for men and women, etc. Muscle tone, on the other hand, is regarded as an inherent elasticity in the muscles. The intrinsic muscle tone is constantly maintained when living but said to lose after death. The reason for the phenomena is not yet explained in health science. Lastly, the spontaneous origins and mechanisms of ultraweak photon (light) emission from living systems are not yet well understood. These are analyzed with a unified view that biological phenomena mimic astrophysical principles. Inward gravitational force is counterbalanced by outward pressure or metabolic energy to be considered as living. In all these three discrete events in life science, such phenomena do exist. Astrophysical principle states that under hydrostatic equilibrium, gravitational compressive energy is compensated by outward radiant energy. Gravitation and metabolic energy work in tandem in the diagonally opposite manner under an equilibrium state from zygote-foetus stages till death with shining in respective waves during life time. Shining or tuning dies down with death under non-equilibrium state. Citation: Iresh Ranjan Bhattacharjee, (2019).
