The author based his argumentation on the brilliant Vladimir Veidle`s essay «The Embryology of Poetry», on the one hand, and the Paul Ricoeur`s article «Entre Gabriel Marcel et Jean Wahl», on the other hand. According to Veidle`s conception an embryo of poetry is a union of the onomatopoeie and the oximoron. The author of this article concludes that oximoron in the large sense occurs in the philosophical thinking but in the case of the onomatopoeie in is not possible. The common source of poetry and philosophy, according to Aristotle in his «Metaphysics», is an astonishment in front of the mystery of the world. The author argues the thesis that Platonism makes concordance between poetry and philosophy inevitable in spite of the furious attacks against the poets and poetry in the Plato`s dialogue «On the State».","PeriodicalId":256945,"journal":{"name":"Herald of Culturology","volume":"28 17","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"113984062","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Almost all famous composers of the beginning of the century, to one degree or another, turned to jazz, each in his own way refracting new rhythms and harmonies in their work. In this process, the initial, basic material was professional composer compositions, and jazz contributed to assimilation. The article examines experiments of interest from the perspective of fusion of musical genres, synthesis of elements of the musical language, which later anticipated the birth of the unique musical style «Fusion».","PeriodicalId":256945,"journal":{"name":"Herald of Culturology","volume":"108 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124141127","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It investigates separate interpretations of the concept of «home» in the work by artists I. Kabakov, R. Magritte, G. Matt-Clark, V. Pivovarov, M. Rosler and others. The sense of «home» depends on the cultural situation and the framework of the artistic direction. The concept of «home» shows a tendency towards deconstruction, its semantic boundaries are subject to displacement, «scattering» of meanings fixed in culture.","PeriodicalId":256945,"journal":{"name":"Herald of Culturology","volume":"56 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132402249","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It also reflects the organic nature of the transfer usage in the field of comparative studies. Mention should also be made that the present paper introduces some refinements of a theoretical nature and demonstrates the application of the method to the analysis of particular works.
