The technology used in the design is 0.18μm CMOS technology, and the frequency is 2.4 GHz. The design utilizes a device-level technique for reducing the power consumption, while maintaining acceptable levels for the conversion gain and noise figure. Simulation results show that increasing the transistor length increases conversion gain, and decreases noise figure for the same amount of minimum power consumption. These results show that this power-reduction technique is as promising for analog circuit as it is for digital circuits.","PeriodicalId":256713,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Arab Conference on Information Technology (ACIT)","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130592223","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The process of training a deep learning model entails selecting the ideal learning parameters such as the number of hidden layers and neurons. Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) is one useful nature-inspired algorithm to set those two influential learning parameters. In this study, two different datasets are used to study and evaluate the particle swarm optimizer with deep learning on datasets of different concentrations of poisoning attack, where some adversarial samples were crafted by attackers to ruin the learning process. The results showed that particle swarm optimization could find settings for deep learning with the existence of poisoned data that maximizes the model accuracy on the unseen testing dataset, and could also offer better recommendations compared to those recommended on all benign samples. This may introduce a concern that optimizers might conceal the existence of data poisoning, which may lead to unreliable learning in the advanced stages of upgrading the model on updated datasets.","PeriodicalId":256713,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Arab Conference on Information Technology (ACIT)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130813826","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Medical imaging provides a way for the internal structure of the human body to be visible with various methods. With DL models, cancer detection, which is one of the most lethal diseases in the world, from medical images can be made possible with high accuracy. The main objective of this paper is to detect Pancreatic Cancer, which is one of the cancer types with the highest fatality rate, from a dataset of Computed Tomography (CT) images, which is one of the medical imaging techniques and has an effective structure in Pancreatic Cancer imaging. The designed DL model is integrated into the Flask application to develop a web application. With this application, early diagnosis of pancreatic cancer can be achieved, which progresses insidiously and therefore does not spread to neighboring tissues and organs when the treatment process is started. Due to the abundance of medical images reviewed by medical professionals, this application can assist radiologists and other specialists in Pancreatic Tumor detection.","PeriodicalId":256713,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Arab Conference on Information Technology (ACIT)","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125467160","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There are three main challenges in doing multi-label text classification (i) a large number of text (input) features, (ii) the underlying implicit relationship between input features and output labels, and (iii) an implicit inter-label dependency. In traditional approaches to multi-label classification, these problems are not being addressed collectively. A feature selection strategy that inherently uses local features to discriminate a class and similarly global features that can distinctly separate classes can be very effective for multi-label classification. In this research, we perform a feature selection and ranking strategy based on local and global features. A Naïve Bayes classifier is being used using a combination of these two -feature sets, it is compared with the baseline implemented with the term frequency-inverse document frequency (TF-IDF). A series of experiments have been carried out on standard multi-label text datasets, using evaluation metrics like Hamming loss, Subset Accuracy and Micro/Macro F1 scores, and encouraging results are obtained.","PeriodicalId":256713,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Arab Conference on Information Technology (ACIT)","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125189361","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
