Though, cross-border e-commerce is high in this region, the customer hesitates to fill a cart from overseas company due to the fear of counterfeit/ fake products as well as hassle of returning the product. To the retailer the challenges is multiplied manifold. The trickiest barrier is complying with customs documentation for reversal, and collaboration with the intermediaries for reclamation. The return of goods faces challenges due to lack of collaborative and integrated technology linkage between the multiple partners participating in the operation. Additionally, the customer does not have a visibility and verification of the source from where the product is received. Blockchain technology is a game-changing technology to solve product traceability, identify fraudulent transactions, and provide digitized transaction details to improve customer experience. The paper aims to analyze the challenges in operational processing the return of goods for the B2C e-commerce transaction. Based on the literature review, pain points in cross-border e-returns were identified. To explore the operational bottlenecks, conducted focus group interview with a small cohort of 45 logistics managers from companies in UAE. A conceptual framework is proposed based on Blockchain technology that would enhance interoperability and digital document transactions, enabling product traceability and transparency. This research contributes to the theoretical and practical literature on cross-border e-commerce, reverse supply chain management, document reversal, re-export issues, and how Blockchain technology’s deployment will help the companies overcome the challenges and sustain in a fiercely competitive environment. The survey was conducted with a small sample size, future research can be conducted with a larger sample size and other countries to widen the knowledge of cross-border issues. The conceptual model needs further industrial validation from the practitioners before using it at a large scale to facilitate information collaboration and integration between the key entities in the B2C cross-border reverse supply chain operation.","PeriodicalId":254711,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Knowledge Economy (ICCIKE)","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117338072","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The advent of motion capture systems has given rise to new possibilities in in many applications motion detection and monitoring, including digitization of performing arts activities such as dance. One of the best ways to capture motion is using SmartSuit Pro, a markerless motion capture system. SmartSuit Pro is a wearable suit embedded with inertia sensors in capturing motion. Inertial sensors are considered source less, however, due to a magnetic field’s pervasive presence on earth, this effect makes the magnetic source available almost anywhere. Therefore, this results in the addition of the drift effect to the output model. Drift is one of the main problems found in the horizontal plane of the output motion capture data. Drift is the small error occurring throughout the calculation of angular velocity and acceleration. In the performed Aeta dance recording, drift was encountered because there was an instance that the actor’s foot was not touched the ground where it was supposed to get in contact with it. The drift should be clean as this is an essential step to have an exceptional output of frames in preparation for dance classification. With the use of locomotion and other data filters, identifying and removing data was made possible. The data cleaning was completed and produced a output with no drift.","PeriodicalId":254711,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Knowledge Economy (ICCIKE)","volume":"50 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115159791","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The authors will specifically acknowledge service providers and sellers of vegetarian (vegetarian) but semi (or non-vegetarian) foods. The strategic approach being used by authors offers a model of mathematical game theory that could help vegan food manufacturers get easier entrants and free substantial ads. Besides that, the template could allow non-vegetarian food producers to turn to vegan and vegetarian production seamlessly. In particular, the authors suggest an arrangement between McDonald’s and Muscle of Wheat since they assume that without the aid of a major food supplier already on the market, Wheat’s strength will not reach a global market. The game theory model describes an irregular R&D partnership between McDonald’s and strength of Wheat. Demand for food items that are organic, nutritious, and environmentally friendly has been growing. In response, producers' market natural or other quality-differentiated foods, often claiming to have implemented good habits focused on environmental welfare. These goods have unfalsifiable consistency characteristics, as well. Because the seller may deceive the buyer with a baseless assertion, the manufacturer who maximizes profit can earn a better price with lower production costs. The research addressed in this paper indicates that the availability of high-quality certificates requires regular agreements and third-party oversight. Policy implications of this research are recorded for national organic food criteria.","PeriodicalId":254711,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Knowledge Economy (ICCIKE)","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126402663","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

During her maiden voyage and early morning hours of April 15, 1912, the Titanic regrettably sank after colliding with an iceberg, killing an approximate of 1502 passengers and crew out of 2224 making it one of many of the deadliest commercial maritime in history till date. The entire international community was deeply shocked and saddened after hearing the news of this sensational disaster which resulted in improved ship safety legislation. Her architect, Thomas Andrews died in the disaster. An eye-opening observation that came forth from the sinking of Titanic is the fact that some individuals had a better chance at surviving than the others. Kids and women had been given foremost priority. Social classes were heavily stratified in the early twentieth century, this was especially implemented on the Titanic Firstly, the aim is use and apply exploratory data analytics (EDA) to uncover previously unknown or hidden facts in the data set available. Then the task is to later anoint various machine learning models to conclude the study of which types of individuals are more likely to live. The outcomes of application of the different machine learning models were then set side by side and analyzed based upon precision.","PeriodicalId":254711,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Knowledge Economy (ICCIKE)","volume":"23 1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132087172","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
