Leveraging technology for improved contract management can transform how energy companies manage their contracts, enhancing efficiency, compliance, and strategic alignment. This paper explores the impact of technological advancements on contract management processes in the energy sector, emphasizing digital solutions and automation. The energy sector deals with multifaceted contracts involving various stakeholders, including suppliers, contractors, regulatory bodies, and customers. Traditional contract management methods, often characterized by manual processes and paper-based documentation, are prone to errors, delays, and inefficiencies. Technology, particularly contract lifecycle management (CLM) software, offers comprehensive solutions to these challenges by digitizing and automating contract management processes. CLM software facilitates the entire contract lifecycle, from drafting and negotiation to execution and renewal. These platforms provide centralized repositories for all contract documents, ensuring easy access and retrieval. Advanced features such as automated alerts and notifications for key dates and obligations help companies stay compliant with contractual and regulatory requirements, reducing the risk of penalties and legal disputes. Moreover, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) capabilities integrated into CLM solutions enable intelligent contract analysis and risk assessment. AI-driven tools can extract critical data from contracts, identify potential risks, and suggest mitigative actions. This predictive insight enhances decision-making, allowing energy companies to proactively address issues before they escalate. Blockchain technology also holds significant potential for contract management in the energy sector. Smart contracts, enabled by blockchain, offer a secure and transparent way to automate contractual obligations. These self-executing contracts reduce the need for intermediaries and enhance trust among parties, ensuring that terms are met efficiently and without dispute. In addition to these technologies, cloud-based platforms offer scalability and flexibility, allowing energy companies to manage contracts remotely and collaboratively. This is particularly beneficial in an industry where projects span multiple locations and jurisdictions. In conclusion, leveraging technology for contract management in the energy sector results in streamlined processes, improved compliance, and enhanced strategic alignment. Economic impacts of affordable housing policies are multifaceted, influencing job creation, economic growth, and household stability. By increasing the supply of affordable housing, these policies can stimulate construction and related industries, leading to significant job creation and economic activity. Affordable housing also enhances household stability by reducing housing costs, allowing for greater disposable income and increased consumer spending. This review explores how policies such as tax incentives, subsidies, and inclusionary zoning have been utilized to promote affordable housing development and their resultant economic benefits. Social impacts of affordable housing policies are equally significant, affecting community cohesion, health outcomes, and educational attainment. Stable and affordable housing contributes to improved mental and physical health by reducing stress and exposure to poor living conditions. Furthermore, it enhances educational outcomes for children by providing a stable home environment conducive to learning. This review discusses policies such as rent control, public housing initiatives, and housing vouchers, highlighting their role in fostering social inclusion and reducing disparities. Case studies from diverse regions, including the United States, Singapore, and Brazil, illustrate the varied approaches and outcomes of affordable housing policies. In the United States, the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program has been instrumental in increasing affordable housing supply and promoting economic development in underserved areas. Singapore's Housing and Development Board (HDB) has successfully provided high-quality, affordable housing to a majority of its population, significantly enhancing social stability. Brazil's Minha Casa Minha Vida program showcases how large-scale public housing initiatives can address housing deficits and improve living standards for low-income families. The review concludes that while affordable housing policies have distinct economic and social impacts, their success largely depends on contextual factors such as policy design, implementation strategies, and local economic conditions. These innovations offer transformative potential by providing timely, accurate, and cost-effective diagnosis, thereby enhancing patient outcomes and curbing the spread of infectious diseases.  Rapid diagnostic technologies, including point-of-care tests and molecular diagnostics, enable swift identification of pathogens, allowing for immediate and appropriate treatment. This is particularly crucial in low-resource settings where laboratory infrastructure is often limited, and delays in diagnosis can lead to increased morbidity and mortality. Portable diagnostic devices, such as handheld PCR machines and mobile phone-based diagnostic tools, further extend the reach of healthcare services to remote and underserved areas. These devices are designed to be user-friendly, requiring minimal training for healthcare workers, and can operate in challenging environments without the need for extensive power supplies or refrigeration. The impact of these technologies is profound. By reducing the time to diagnosis, rapid diagnostic tests can decrease the misuse of antibiotics, helping to combat antibiotic resistance—a major global health threat. Additionally, early and accurate diagnosis facilitates better disease surveillance and outbreak management, enabling quicker public health responses. Cost-effective and scalable, these technologies also offer significant economic benefits, reducing the burden on healthcare systems and improving overall health equity. This review underscores the critical role of rapid diagnostic technologies and portable devices in revolutionizing infectious disease management in low-resource settings. By leveraging a comprehensive review of existing literature and case studies, this research provides insights into the economic, social, technological, and policy dimensions of renewable energy adoption. The study employed a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative analysis of policy frameworks with quantitative assessment of economic impacts. Key findings indicate that while renewable energy technologies, such as solar and wind, are increasingly cost-competitive, high initial capital costs and long payback periods remain significant barriers. Social and cultural resistance also poses challenges, particularly in communities with strong ties to traditional energy sources. Policy inconsistencies and regulatory uncertainties further complicate the adoption of renewable energy technologies. Conversely, the study highlights numerous opportunities. Renewable energy deployment can drive substantial job creation, stimulate local economies, and enhance energy security by diversifying energy sources. Technological advancements in energy storage and smart grids are crucial for integrating renewable energy into existing systems, thereby ensuring reliability and stability. Effective policy frameworks, such as feed-in tariffs and carbon pricing, are essential for fostering investment and innovation in the renewable energy sector. The study concludes that a holistic approach, integrating economic incentives, social engagement, and robust policy frameworks, is vital for overcoming challenges and maximizing the benefits of renewable energy. To optimize risk management, firms must employ a multifaceted approach that integrates advanced analytics, robust risk assessment frameworks, and strategic decision-making processes. Key strategies include the use of financial instruments such as futures, options, and swaps to hedge against price volatility. These instruments enable traders to lock in prices and margins, thereby reducing exposure to market fluctuations. Advanced analytics and data-driven decision-making are essential components of effective risk management. By leveraging big data, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, traders can gain deeper insights into market trends, forecast price movements, and identify potential risks. Predictive analytics allows for proactive risk management, enabling firms to anticipate and respond to market changes swiftly. A comprehensive risk assessment framework is also critical. This involves regular monitoring and evaluation of risk exposure, stress testing, and scenario analysis. Such practices help identify vulnerabilities and ensure that risk mitigation measures are in place. Additionally, fostering a risk-aware culture within the organization is vital. This includes training and educating employees on risk management practices and encouraging transparent communication and reporting of risks. Compliance risk, driven by regulatory changes, is another significant aspect of risk management in oil and gas trading. Policymakers must balance fostering innovation and protecting public interests, emphasizing the need for privacy-preserving technologies and international standards. Recommendations include developing global regulatory standards, enhancing privacy measures, and creating legal frameworks that accommodate the decentralized nature of blockchain systems. This research provides valuable insights for regulators, policymakers, and stakeholders, offering a pathway towards a secure, transparent, and innovative digital economy. Continuous adaptation and international collaboration are imperative to address emerging challenges and fully harness the potential of blockchain technology. It examined its potential intervention and prevention strategies using emerging technological resources. The study was conducted using a descriptive survey research design. Three research questions guided the research. The researchers used two questionnaires to collect data, distributing 200 copies randomly among undergraduate students. The researchers designed the questionnaire and validated by experts specifically for this study. Respondents' personal information was analyzed using percentages, while mean and standard deviation were used to analyze the research questions. The findings revealed among others, that there are reasons behind crystal methamphetamine use among students at public tertiary institutions in Anambra State, Awka, and this use negatively impacts their academic performance and health. The findings also revealed that mobile applications, online counselling platforms and social media campaigns are the emerging technological resources for intervention and prevention. Recommendations were made, including that families should take the lead in combating drug abuse by collaborating with community organizations like town unions should work on preventing the production, sale, and use of methamphetamine within and outside the university environments. Employing a qualitative methodology, this research synthesizes existing literature and case studies to highlight the pivotal role of data protection regulations in safeguarding personal information in an increasingly digital world. The analysis begins with an exploration of the conceptual framework of data privacy, emphasizing key principles such as transparency, accountability, and data minimization. It then meticulously examines the Nigerian Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) and the diverse U.S. legal landscape, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). The main findings reveal significant differences in regulatory approaches, with Nigeria's centralized enforcement by the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) contrasting sharply with the U.S.'s fragmented state and federal oversight. Case studies underscore the challenges faced by both jurisdictions in ensuring compliance, ranging from resource constraints in Nigeria to the complexities of navigating multiple regulatory requirements in the U.S. The study concludes that while both countries emphasize the importance of data privacy, their divergent legal landscapes reflect unique cultural, economic, and operational contexts. The research recommends harmonizing data protection standards, enhancing enforcement mechanisms, and fostering greater public awareness to address the evolving challenges of data privacy.
