The present paper proposes an optimized technical solution for a wide range of continuous current motors to achieve low voltage, overvoltage and overload protection. A circuit driven by a microcontroller is used which, based on the information acquired from the sensors, will protect the motor by means of a relay.","PeriodicalId":253583,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Symposium on Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering (ISFEE)","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130647283","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The proposed approach used for the power loss estimation uses an advanced method based on power loss models that are evaluated at each simulation step. The power losses are compared based on results from several simulations using a three-phase inverter with a RL load or three current sources so that the power factor can be controlled. The two modulation methods are used one at a time to measure the power loss in the inverter, the phase voltage and the phase current with its maximum. Based on the simulation results, a comparison between the power loss in the two cases is made, depending on the power factor and the amplitude of the output current.","PeriodicalId":253583,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Symposium on Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering (ISFEE)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131035938","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on the presented method are identified a set of analytical equations used for the evaluation of the coordinates of the maximum power point. The presented analytical relations ensure, under certain conditions, determination of the maximum power with a better accuracy of 1%. The maximum power point is evaluated based on a point at the intersection between a special line (d) and the I-V characteristic curve. Determination of the analytical relations is based on the explicit form of the I-V characteristic expressed with Lambert W-function.","PeriodicalId":253583,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Symposium on Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering (ISFEE)","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116330601","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In January 2017, in Romania have been registered 3025 MW produced energy by the wind power farms, representing investments over 5 billion euros. It represents more than 24% of the total delivered electric energy. The analyzed area presented in this paper is located in the south part of Moldavia, being considered until the altitude of 600 m. Firstly a database was realized of the main measured parameters with three masts, situated at approx 20 km distance each other. Around ten parameters of the main environmental data, for more than one year, were registered and completed with measurements from other five meteorological stations. Based on this database, the initial conditions for numerical modeling of the vertical wind distribution were established. In the beginning, some theoretical aspects concerning the influence of the Boundary Layer separation on air velocity distribution are mentioned. For this domain an altimetry model was established. At the beginning, an average value of roughness was considered. As a second step for modeling, based on the local conditions, the effective roughness was estimated and some corrections were made. In these conditions supplementary parameters are necessary to evaluate the turbulence. The air density, pressure, and temperature, also registered, have an essential role in the proper evaluation of the wind velocity. It represents the principal factor affecting the functioning of the wind turbines. The numerical model takes into account the database of the measured parameters and the corrections made due to the variable roughness. It is established a Long Term Prediction for the vertical distribution of the air velocity, and was estimated the wind farm efficiency. Finally, some numerical results, conclusions, and references are presented.","PeriodicalId":253583,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Symposium on Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering (ISFEE)","volume":"135 2","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133684694","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Such a system presents several major advantages, like the ability to closer match the production and consumption of electricity in real time, realistically adjust the dimensions of infrastructure based on measured power requirements, pin-point problems in the grid etc. Furthermore, this system can be adapted and integrated into industry 4.0 systems, to provide control and visibility of the enterprise operations at low level. Nowadays, most of the tools and equipment use electric energy as the main power source or for control, while renewable energy production capabilities are installed in factories. This article presents the requirements for smart metering in an industry 4.0 system along with a proposed architecture for the private grid monitoring and control system. In our experiment, we adapt and integrate the latest transmission encryption methodologies over a wired network to ensure data security in an industrial environment. We bring contributions to the presentation layer in order to display the data in a simple to understand and meaningful way.","PeriodicalId":253583,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Symposium on Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering (ISFEE)","volume":"50 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132779838","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There are mixtures of microparticle / air usually known as aerosols and standalone microparticle matter, alone [6]. In the atmosphere exist simultaneously, suspended, these microscopic microparticle, liquid or solid [1] [2].Human health, due to impacts these microparticle have on environment, climate, precipitation, it is adversely affected. Some of the most dangerous microparticles are soot, amorphous carbon, residue of the incomplete burning of organic matter, ultrafine particles [6], 2.5 μm diameter or less fine particles, between 2.5 and 10 micrometers (μm) diameter which are coarse particles, all being under categories of microparticles that are atmospheric suspended microparticles matter, coarse particles, inhalable particles, thoracic, microparticles that are respirable [1].Globally, the risk of premature death due to particulate matter microparticles in the ambient environment has been globally ranked 6th in the overall risk of premature death. Due to respiratory infections, lung cancer, chronic pulmonary disease, stroke and heart disease have been recorded worldwide 4.1 million deaths.Microparticles that can and really do penetrate even deeper into the lungs are particularly the most killer microparticles, namely the small ones, increasing by 36% the risk of lung cancer to just 10 μg / m3. In order to be clearly stated, there is no safety or safety level regarding the microparticles, having as proof studies that shows for any increase of 10 μg/m3, the growth rate in lung cancer increases by 22% [2] [3].The so-called microparticles suspended in the atmosphere are carcinogenic and represent the most deadly forms of atmospheric air pollution due to their ease and ability to penetrate deep into the lungs into the blood flow without being pre-filtered, thus causing premature death, respiratory diseases, heart attacks, permanent DNA mutations [3].","PeriodicalId":253583,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Symposium on Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering (ISFEE)","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128170300","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
