For attaining high recognition accuracy in such a system, computation of suitable features is an important task. DFT (Discrete Fourier Transform) based feature extraction technique is employed in this work. In this paper, we have considered 86 stroke classes of Gurmukhi script. We have taken 75–100 variations per class in the data set. To calculate the recognition accuracy, a data set of 8408 stroke samples has been considered. Our aim is to furnish such an algorithm that will be able to generate error free recognition of text from the given input image which will help in document digitizing and prevention to the hand written text recognition. OCR has been in the intensive research topic for more than 4 decades, it is probably the most time consuming and labor intensive work of inputting the data through keyboard. This paper discuss about mechanical or electronic conversion of scanned images, text which contain graphics, image captured by camera, scanned images and the recognition of images where characters may be broken or smeared. The optical character recognition is the desktop based application developed using Java IDE and mysql as a database. We have gain 91.82% accuracy when applied on different data sets, in pre-processing we used different techniques to remove noise from the image in post processing we used dictionary for the characters which are not recognized during classification, in classification we have used the back propagation algorithm for the training of neural network, feature extraction has been performed by template matching and hamming distance. Python language tool IPython/Jupyter is used to examine the networks by applying visual analytic techniques like degree centrality and betweenness centrality to the dataset of Twitter hashtags which provides an easier way to analyze the network connections. Smart grid technology has significantly changed the way of generation and distribution of electricity which not only helps to decrease the demand of power and cost savings, but also can comparably improve the reliability and efficiency of power system. An electric vehicle (EV), a component of smart grid is the vehicle which uses electric motors for moving the vehicle. Itinerary planning of EV is to manage the whole journey without exhausting battery capacity. The aim of the proposed model is to find the optimized route for an EV in terms of distance travelled and cost of charging from any source to destination. In this paper we describe an approach that is based on firefly algorithm (an implementation of swarm intelligence) to improve the routing performance in the terms of transmission time and better connectivity. Energy efficiency becomes a crucial system design parameter in such systems. One approach to increase the energy efficiency is to allocate radio resources in efficient manner. This is done by developing a QoS based optimization framework for Joint bandwidth and power allocation. Energy efficiency in such systems can be further improved by on-off switching of small cell base stations. On-off switching is done by keeping small cells in energy-saving mode while preserving the quality of service (QoS) experienced by users. This paper describes a novel algorithm for color video sequence enhancement using Least Path Impulse Detector extended to spatio-temporal filtering. This algorithm works well with both Gaussian and impulse noise and quality analysis factor such as PSNR and SSIM proves the efficiency of proposed method. The simulation of available algorithm for mixed noise removal was implemented and compared with proposed method and results are tabulated. In this work, signals are uniformly decomposed to form a set of uniform matrices. Then using Canonical Correlation Analysis (CCA) each pair matrices are mapped to orthogonal space. Next, Wavelet transformation is performed on original feature matrices and then mapped to orthogonal space. Both domains are statistically independent. From each domain, same dimensional feature vectors are extracted and concatenated them to form single embedding vectors. The embedding vectors are fed to classifier to recognize the healthy control and pathological signal patterns. For demonstration, we consider three groups of EMG signal vis Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), Myopathy (Myo) and healthy control (Nor). Results indicate that adopted feature extraction technique and synchronization of features strongly enhances the quality of feature pattern. The optimum recognition rate under adopted feature technique are obtained 95.91%±3.6% and 95.58%±1.5 % in Myo-Nor and ALS-Nor respectively. The proposed feature extraction scheme is consistent not only in accuracies but also other quality assessment parameters. It ensures no VM would get overloaded or sit idle and the end user would get service faster. We have proposed an algorithm, which adds a new feature like priority basis service allocation of each user request. Determining the priority of a request, the task allocated to a Virtual Machines. A Switching queue has proposed to hold the request which has been removed temporarily from the V.M. due to the arrival of higher priority request. The waiting request resumed the execution after completion of the of higher priority task.
