Mikołajczak","doi":"10.2478/cqpi-2019-0016","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.2478/cqpi-2019-0016","url":null,"abstract":"Abstract The quest for new sources of financing for the development of green economy sectors and enterprises is one of the challenges to effective management. This study verifies whether a relationship exists between the activity of selected companies who access the capital market in search for new financing sources, their development level and their competitive edge. The sample used in this study was composed of companies from the forestry and wood-based sector (a major part of the Polish economy) listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to an Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) was used to assess the development level of selected enterprises. The main recommendations were formulated based on the findings from the analysis of performance ratios and from the comparative and descriptive analysis of data on stock exchange transactions in the wood-based sector. In the subject literature, there are numerous indications taking into account complex relations in the supply chain and identifying quality aspects by maximizing the phenomenon of synergy in the supply chain. In accordance with these implications, an attempt has been made to analyze the area of quality management in the area of the supply chain in the selected company, being the link of the supply chain. The obtained research results have been partially presented in this paper. The objective of the paper is to present the results of the research into selected areas of quality management of the supply chain in the company of the transport-forwarding-logistics industry. The empirical research was conducted through the survey questionnaire the objective of which was to obtain the opinions on the key aspects of quality management of the supply chain. Karkoszka","doi":"10.2478/cqpi-2019-0018","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.2478/cqpi-2019-0018","url":null,"abstract":"Abstract The increasing worldwide energy consumption, especially in the industry range, forces the companies to search for the solutions, which – being written into sustainable development philosophy – would allow for reducing the level of the energy consumption of the realised processes and lowering the costs of their functioning. Those activities can be undertaken in the systemic way, very often based on the implementation of the energy management system, they can also have the character of technical or technological modernisation. Fundament of the decision concerning the manner of the minimisation of energy consumption should always be the energy risk management covering: its identification, evaluation and acceptability assessment. The studies proposed the principles for defining the significant energy aspects by the full identification of all the present aspects and next the development of unified methodology of their assessment, allowing for appointing the key aspects. The starting point constitutes the energy risk ratio, which takes into consideration the following criteria: probability of the occurrence, significance of the occurrence, ability to monitor, incompatibility with legal requirements, and the interest and attention of the stakeholders. In many cases, colour contrast can be induced where no identifiable phase contrast is obtained by conventional techniques. With the help of colour contrast, we gain new information on the structure of Al-Si alloys, especially intermetallic phases, in which the benefits of its use in casting quality control are of benefit.\u0000 Blue-yellow contrast is definitely more pronounced than dark grey or light grey contrast. There is no substantial reproducible colour reproduction, since it is irrelevant whether the two phases are distinguished by blue-yellow or green-ocher contrast.
