General and special sharia norms are derived from its text. This aspect of the Qur'an has been the subject of interest of numerous Islamic scholars in the context of interpreting the normative ayahs - ajatu'l-ahkam. The Hajj is one of the five pillars of Islam. It is prescribed by the Qur'an and the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad, s.a.w.s. The basic regulations of Hajj are derived from the Qur'anic ayahs, and they are stated in various Qira'at variants. The recorded Qira'at versions eliminate certain doubts, extend or give new meaning to the Qur'anic text.\u0000Although their form differs, Qira'ats are intertwined, which indicates their unique source and origin. Without contradiction and exclusivity, the Qira'ats support, explain and interpret one another, which can be of great importance, especially for the Qur'an commentators and Islamic jurists who derive specific Sharia rules from them.\u0000In this paper, we will deal with Sharia law commentaries on Hajj regulations by eminent Islamic scholars, but only from the perspective of Qira'at. The following Sharia laws were analyzed: Sa'j between Safe and Merwa, Reason for banning sexual intercourse, ugly words and quarrels during Hajj, Performing Umrah, Redemption for intentional killing an animal while a hajji is in the state of Ihram, Maintaining personal hygiene while performing Hajj and Performing qurbani.

The previously published work using the material collected during the same longitudinal monitoring analyzed "errors" in the morphological forms of verbs, adjectives, and pronouns, while this paper explores the forms of nouns and word formation. \u0000A participatory observation method and a comparative descriptive method were used to gather data.\u0000The neologisms from this research confirm what has been emphasized in previous research: searching for appropriate grammatical forms and words a child makes "errors" that in fact verify that children derive the native language grammar rules from the language patterns, i.e. speech they are exposed to. \u0000A child will learn standard language forms over time, so "errors" should not be always corrected and drawn attention to as "irregular" forms, but a parent (educator) should offer correct forms to the child not criticizing him/her, and when it comes to innovative semantemes (lexical and grammatical units), they should be used as an incentive for creativity in language, for thinking about language and its creative possibilities.

I show how our way of teaching, at least in Sweden, often diminishes the readiness for and interest in true dialogue among our students. One reason is that information about religions and religious traditions tends to “make” religions static and non-relational, not showing that lived religion is a life process during which you change and are expected to mature. Another reason is based on the effects of hegemonic discourses within which students interpret our teaching. I discuss which of them are present in Swedish classrooms nowadays, how they determine the identity-discourse of second generation immigrants, and what we can do to help students to understand how these discourses work and to widen them.

In addition to this, we investigated gender differences as well as the correlation between self-perception and academic achievement. \u0000The research sample comprised 62 participant, 31 gifted and 31 non-gifted children aged 10 to 15. A matched participant design was used and the controlling variables were: academic achievement in the current and previous grades, gender and a socio-economic status. All the participants were tested by two instruments: The Socio-Demographic instrument and the Self-Perception Profile for Children developed by Susan Harter (1985), which measures six aspects of self-perception (competencies): school competence, social competence, sports competence, physical competence, behavioral competence and general self-perception.\u0000The results showed that the highest level of students’ competence was observed for the school competence aspect, then behavioral one, followed by general self- concept, while a lower level of physical and sports competence was reached.\u0000Furthermore, there is a statistically significant correlation between most of the personal competence sub-scales, except between sports competence on the one hand, and school competence and behavioral competence, on the other hand. This implies that competence self- perception is the construct comprised of different interrelated aspects and if one shows a tendency for positive self-perception in one aspect; most probably that person will have positive self- perception in another as well.\u0000No statistically significant differences were found between the gifted and the non-gifted children, which means that giftedness is not an important factor of self-perception. Also, gender differences were significant only among the gifted children where the boys perceived themselves as more competent in the social and physical aspects.

The practical, sound-related aspect of reciting the Qur'an is only one segment of Tajweed, i.e. its artistic dimension. However, when we say 'ilm et-tajweed', we refer to the Qur'anic science, which, like any other science, has its own theory, its subject of study, its terminology and methodology. Therefore, it is erroneous to perceive the science of Tajweed only as melodic reciting of the Qur'anic text, or to limit it to practicing the pronunciation of the Qur'anic words and examining the application of the Tajweed rules. Even more debatable is the issue of treating the term Tajweed when related to the term Qira’at.\u0000Given the difficulty in understanding the subject matter of the study of Tajweed and Qira’at and the lack of understanding of the basic terminological concepts of these two Qur'anic disciplines, this paper aims at shedding some light on these issues.

By close observation of the tension between interreligious solidarity and aggressive identity politics, the author highlights some central features of the trust-building Christian-Muslim dialogue in Norway. However, the situation in general is described in more optimistic terms.
