This work provides a contribution to the study and creation an intelligent system based on LSTM technique for heart disease prediction. A comparative study is presented between Multi Layer Perceptron (MLP) and Long Short Term Memory (LSTM) techniques in terms of accuracy and other predictive parameters for heart disease. The main aim is to develop an intelligent system based on LSTM technique for predicting heart disease in order to make an adapted decision to prevent and monitor heart disease and stroke. This increases the use of cyberspace in every dimension of our lives especially with mobile devices which enable us to connect to related services in anytime and anywhere concept. However, this ineluctable expansion also brings lots of security breaches especially for standard end users. Phishing is one of the mostly preferred attack types that hackers use by easily hindering themselves. This type attack is initially triggered with a simple e-mail or social media message which mainly forward the victims to a malicious webpage. For security admins, they are really hard attack types to detect. Therefore, in this paper a content based phishing detection mechanism is proposed. In the proposal about six different machine learning models are implemented to select the best training models. This control technique selects a switching state that optimizes the error between the currents of the active filter and their references. In addition the instantaneous power method, based on an ADALINE harmonic extraction algorithm, is developed in order to estimate and identify the harmonic content of the nonlinear load. This study used three diagnostic techniques. Early faults detection allows us to avoid catastrophic damage. In this work, we have exploited the stator current signal by three recent methods. The first technique uses the fast Fourier transform (FFT) which is often called motor current signature analysis (MCSA or MCSA-FFT). According to this technique, we carefully checked the spectral content of the stator current. In addition, we have clearly noticed to new harmonics that indicate the broken rotor bar (BRB) faults exists. The second technique is based on the discrete wavelet transform (DWT); this technique is widely used in the diagnosis field of rotating machinery. In order to detect the BRB faults in SCIMs, we have exploited this method by three important indicators. One of them is based on the mean square error (MSE) of each detail coefficient. In this study, we applied a new indicator (MSE) for the BRB fault detection based on DWT. The last method is empirical mode decomposition (EMD) to perform the current signature analysis in order to decompose the motor current signal into intrinsic mode functions (IMFs). It is currently competing with several methods such as: MCSA, DWT, etc. So, it is possible to detect BRBs through the evaluation of the different IMF levels for both conditions, healthy and faulty state of SCIM. An experimental test for different conditions: at no load or at load operation, healthy or faulty state of the induction motor has been performed. So, experimental results using three methods showed a detailed comparison between them in order to achieve a judicious decision on the broken rotor bars detection. In this research, in order to enhance the strength of the used approach, we propose a hybrid approach that combines SVM classifiers with PSO and PCA selection features. This is used for classifying the status of water quality with the Radial Basis Function (RBF) SVM kernel. To enhance the classification accuracy, PSO selects the best parameter for SVM. The problem of irrelevant data in the space of functions can be solved by PCA. A binary classification based on two water quality classes (Class I: upper, Class II: lower) is considered to be the problem. Datasets were obtained for training and testing over 5 years (2014-2018) from many samples in Tilsdit dam-Algeria, and are used in this situation. A simulation of the training time and recognition rate will be carried out in order to verify the efficiency of the method. The proposed scheme senses the radio spectrum and communicates over unused frequency bands. We found that the throughput improvement depends on the transition probabilities. However, considering the past information state of the spectrum can dramatically increases the secondary user's throughput. Moreover, the impact of sensing errors on the MAC layer performance is studied and a sensing strategy, considering the false-alarm and missed-detection probabilities, is investigated. In particular, a joint sensing and scheduling scheme is presented in this work. The objective is to achieve an optimal cross-layer design, spectrum sensing at physical layer and spectrum access at MAC layer, which can enhance the performance of cognitive radio networks. The proposed scheme makes efficient decisions on which channels to sense and access to ensure maximization of the throughput of cognitive radio users. The generation of harmonic content induced by non-linear loads is an undesirable side effect to the conversion of electrical energy in the network which in turn lowers the power factor leading to greater power consumption and losses throughout the grid. In this project, an Active Power Factor Correction (PFC) circuit based on boost converter with its control system will be introduced, which is a relatively simple and low-cost circuit. In Turkey, electricity is mainly generated from thermal plants and Turkey imports fossil fuels from other countries. Turkey produces more than 55 percent of the electricity from thermal power plants. Turkey has several economic and geographical advantages; renewable energy resources are mainly from them. Thermal plants produce air pollution, which contributes to a significant number of environmental and health effects. Due to geographical locational advantages, renewable energy is the best solution for Turkey. Renewable energy just not minimize the dependence of Turkey from other countries but it will be also a great step towards a sustainable future. In an electric power system, smart grids have been successfully applied and distributed energy resources can be used efficiently by using smart grids. The first section in this work provides the distribution of electricity generation in Turkey. This paper also investigates the importance and advantages of renewable energy and the challenges of integrating renewable energy in the smart grid. Renewable energy can be used smartly and efficiently by using smart grids. Features are used as a starting point for our algorithms; so the overall algorithms will only be as good as their used feature detectors and features matching techniques, for that, we propose using Harris corner detector to find key points in overlapping images, then describing the detected features using FREAK descriptors for finding correspondences, after estimating homography parameters; either the second image is transformed to the frame of the first image for image mosaicing purpose, or four corners of the tracked object are transformed for object tracking purpose. The two algorithms are tested on Matlab, and then they are implemented on LabVIEW platform; in which a sophisticated interface is created to facilitate code execution for users, the built interface on LabVIEW can be used to be executed on embedded systems. The majority of the technologies that have been installed for system monitoring are based on the SCADA system, the latter does not give good results in real time and the error deviation is significant. This paper proposes a solution for the supervision problem based on the SCADA system; by using PMU technology to measure multiple parameters both with better accuracy and in real time. To validate the proposed approach, the developed PMU based monitoring system is implemented using Simulink/Matlab.
