Among the main reasons of dairy cattle premature culling the\u0000 problems related to reproduction, udder and legs are prevailing. The order\u0000 of these reasons according to their significance is not the same in all\u0000 dairy cattle populations and depends on production direction, level of\u0000 production and specific technology of cattle breeding. In Poland\u0000 following 3 pig breeds are considered as native: Pulawska, Zlotnicka White\u0000 and Zlotnicka Spotted. The aim of this study was the assessment of the\u0000 quality of meat and traditionally smoked tenderloins obtained from meat of\u0000 native pigs breeds bred in a traditional way. Meat analysis showed that the\u0000 highest fat content values were present in Zlotnicka Spotted (4.60 ? 0.33)\u0000 and White (3.63 ? 0.41) while the lowest in Pulawska (2.78 ? 0.29). Smoked\u0000 tenderloins shear force differed statistically. The hardness values were the\u0000 highest for Zlotnicka White (65.66 ? 6.46) and the lowest for Zlotnicka\u0000 Spotted (33.27 ? 4.12). Similar shear force values were recorded: the\u0000 highest in Zlotnicka White (51.90 ? 7.11) and the lowest in Zlotnicka\u0000 Spotted (30.43 ? 5.54). Regardless of the results obtained, meat products\u0000 have good acceptance of sensory assessment test and low level of polycyclic\u0000 aromatic hydrocarbons. We conclude that the meat of Pulawska, Zlotnicka\u0000 White and Spotted breeds of pigs is a good quality raw material used for\u0000 production of traditional and regional meat products gaining high sensory\u0000 scores and good recognition among consumers. The traditionally smoked\u0000 tenderloins produced from meats of above breeds, were characterized by very\u0000 good quality parameters.

Studied traits included birth weight, weaning\u0000 weight, six months weight, nine months weight, and one yearling weight.\u0000 Variance components and genetic parameters of traits were estimated by\u0000 restricted likelihood and six animal models using Wombat software. Direct\u0000 heritability of birth weight, weaning weight, six months weight, nine months\u0000 weight, and one yearling weight was (0.07, 0.09, 0.15, 0.13, and 0.20\u0000 respectively). Using the plate count and standard\u0000 mycological methods, total fungal counts and potentially toxigenic fungal\u0000 genera were determined. Natural occurrence of aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) was\u0000 detected by ELISA (enzyme-linked immune sorbent assay) method. The total\u0000 fungal count was in the range from 1 x 102 (2 log CFU g-1) to 1.83 x 105 CFU\u0000 g-1 (5.26 log CFU g-1). The majority of the chicken feeds (78.57%) had the\u0000 total fungal count in the ranged from 1 x 102 to 4.8 x 104 CFU g-1, whereas\u0000 in 68.75% of the laying hens feeds it was ranged from 5.3 x 104 to 1.83 x\u0000 105 CFU g-1. In 21.43% of the chicken feeds fungal contamination reached the\u0000 level above the regulation limits. Three potentially toxigenic fungal\u0000 genera, Aspergillus, Fusarium, and Penicillium, have been identified. In the\u0000 tested poultry feed samples, more samples contaminated with Aspergillus were\u0000 determined compared to samples contaminated by Fusarium and Penicillium\u0000 species. The AFB1 was detected in concentrations from 1.34 to 18.29?g kg-1,\u0000 with an average of 4.47 and 4.56?g kg-1 in the chicken and laying hens feed\u0000 samples, respectively. In 14.29% of the chicken feeds, the level of AFB1 was\u0000 above the regulation limits. Disease outbreaks in domestic swine\u0000 are often described as a consequence of contact with wild boars, and\u0000 traditional rearing conditions are a particular risk factor. The enquiry was\u0000 conducted on 60 dairy farms during 2018-2019 agricultural campaign to\u0000 determine structural, technical and economic parameters. The Results show a\u0000 large diversity of farmer?s strategies, particularly in feeding and economic\u0000 indicators. The statistical analysis has identified 3 groups of farms. The\u0000 first group contains 12 farms produce average milk yield about 4120 kg and\u0000 promote use of forages. The participation of concentrates in total dry\u0000 matter ingestion (DMI) is about 45.3 %, the average costs of milk production\u0000 is of 37.1 DA/ liter?0.52 ? and charge of food in total production costs in\u0000 the order of 62.8 %. 32 dairy farms of second group are characterized by\u0000 average milk yields 3240 kg and the contribution of concentrated foods\u0000 represents 49.2 % of total DMI. The cost of liter of milk is about 42.7\u0000 DA?0.60 ? and food costs in order of 68.7 % of total production costs. The\u0000 third group contains 16 dairy farms whose illustrates farms with a\u0000 significant contribution of concentrates in the global feed balance (54.3 %\u0000 of total DMI). These concentrated foods were poorly converted into milk as\u0000 recorded yields are the lowest (2010 kg). Production costs of liter milk and\u0000 the percentage price of food in total cost production were respectively\u0000 highest (49.4 DA?0.69 ?) and (80.2 %). The results of this typology indicate\u0000 the diversity of dairy farms systems in semi-arid region in North Africa,\u0000 which must be taken to ensure the profitability and sustainability of farms\u0000 identified. The socio-economic factors are behind the genesis of sample\u0000 farms, the technical feeding and rationing and no diversification of forage\u0000 calendar make clear the variations in groups of dairy husbandry. To\u0000 guarantee sustainability development of typological groups, a specific\u0000 measure, particularly in feeding management, will be applied for different\u0000 livestock systems identified.
