This information is used to adjust treatment strategies, psychological and psychotherapeutic interventions, and to predict the patient's condition. In modern science, methods that have been shown to be effective and have satisfactory test validity and reliability are considered the gold standard for testing. Adhering to this standard ensures that the tool being used is performing its intended functions to a certain degree of quality providing decent results. Many Ukrainian studies are based on methods that were adapted or created during the era of the Soviet Union and have not been reviewed since. On the other hand, we have methods that were translated from another languages without going through the proper adaptation process. These questionnaires are used in a clinical practice too, by psychologists, psychiatrists and psychotherapists. Moreover, there is no known or open data about the performance of these tests amid the war, both in original and in translated versions. The aim of this article was to explore the reliability of the most frequently used screening tools. The study took place in one of the rehabilitation center in Kyiv, Ukraine. Overall, 28 participants joined, all of whom were soldiers who are currently enrolled in the Armed forces of Ukraine. Measurements were taken 3 times with a one week gaps. GAD-7 and STAI (modified by Hanin) were used to screen anxiety, PCL-5 for PTSD screening and ISI helped us to determine sleep problems. The GAD-7, ISI, and PCL-5 questionnaires, in the versions we tested, demonstrated more than satisfactory levels of reliability and are recommended by the authors for use in clinical conditions and for screening soldiers in the armed forces. The STAI, on the other hand, showed unsatisfactory indicators and is not recommended for use in screening procedures or for research purposes. In conclusion, it is recommended that Ukrainian researchers adopt international methods properly, conducting validation studies adhering to so-called “golden standards”.","PeriodicalId":249081,"journal":{"name":"Kyiv journal of modern psychology and psychotherapy","volume":"42 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139360047","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study was conducted on a cohort of 1100 children of school age of younger, middle and senior schools’ classes of Kyiv and Lutsk cities. Features of the impact of the family on the formation of the health of the child were studied by determining the formation of groups of dominant psychotypes, in particular: acceptance – alienation of the child in the family, establishing the nature of the social desire of the child in the family, realization of the state of increased care of the family relative to the child, authoritarian style of communication of the family with the child and degrading the individual characteristics of the child's personality. As a result of the study, a special importance of the effect of hyperopic on the formation of digestive system diseases is established. Attention is emphasized that in order to prevent the negative impact of the family on the formation of the health of the child, the joint efforts of doctors, psychologists and educators are needed through the creation of joint projects for the prevention and rehabilitation for each child. The current version of the design and modular system \"Universal- on-line\" is presented. The system provides an effective cooperation between teachers, psychologists and doctors in an interactive mode. After diagnostics to determine the nature of the impact of the family on the child, the corresponding specialists will receive an algorithm of action in accordance with their profile. It is emphasized that the consequence of realizing the complex negative influence of the family in the event of late detection can be violations of the child's health and the formation of diseases in the digestive system.","PeriodicalId":249081,"journal":{"name":"Kyiv journal of modern psychology and psychotherapy","volume":"57 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125894889","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main approaches to the study of loneliness and the peculiarities of its experience are singled out (psychoanalytic, phenomenological, existential, sociological, interactionist, cognitive, intimate, systemic, interdisciplinary), based on the analysis of which a comprehensive approach is proposed, according to which loneliness is defined as a delta between the desires or needs of an individual in communication and the quality of his/her social environment, and the experience of loneliness is interpreted as a feedback mechanism between the individual and others, which performs a regulatory function to establish the optimal level of human contacts. A theoretical model of experiencing loneliness is presented which has a three-component structure: cognitive, affective (emotional-evaluative) and conative (behavioral) components, in each of which two poles are distinguished depending on the constructive or destructive type of experiencing loneliness. It is shown that the attribution of the experience of loneliness to a certain type occurs according to the criteria: 1) awareness, understanding, interpretation of the situation of loneliness (perception of oneself as a person who has / does not have sufficiently close relationships, ability (constructive type of experiencing loneliness) or inability (destructive type of experiencing loneliness ) to find a resource in being alone with oneself, satisfaction or dissatisfaction with self-realization): 2) modality of feelings and experiences of the situation of loneliness (frustration, experiencing one's own isolation, or, conversely, the presence of close, trusting, warm relationships with others, primarily with one's own family or romantic partner): 3) coping strategies for experiencing loneliness (a balance between avoiding situations of loneliness, the inability to be alone with oneself and a tolerant attitude to solitude, autonomy, the ability to resist the pressure of public opinion and the development of one's own standards of behavior), etc.","PeriodicalId":249081,"journal":{"name":"Kyiv journal of modern psychology and psychotherapy","volume":"56 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127603004","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Differences in the manifestations of stress resistance of teenagers depending on gender (boys are characterized by lower indicators than girls), age (with age, indicators of stress resistance of teenagers become higher), number of children in the family (in families with 2 or more children, the stress resistance of teenagers is higher than in families with one child), and distance from the front line (teenagers who live near the front line have lower stress resistance than those who are far from it ) are characterized. \u0000Features of the basic beliefs of teenagers and their connection with stress resistance are presented.
