Using data from the “Survey on the Sexual Culture of Children and Adolescents in the Busan Area” conducted by the Busan Women and Family Development Institute in 2021, the study analyzed the factors that influence adolescents' involvement in illegal filming. A total of 853 participants were included in the study, and binary logistic regression analysis was used for the analysis. The results of the study indicated that the factors statistically significant in influencing adolescents' engagement in illegal filming were the experience of encountering sexual discrimination expressions online and a lack of recognition of illegal filming as a criminal activity. Based on the findings, this study recommended the development of practical measures to address sexual discrimination in online environments targeted at adolescents, the enhancement of digital sexual violence prevention education.","PeriodicalId":246265,"journal":{"name":"Korean Association of Criminal Psychology","volume":"160 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135083167","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In particular, the classification of probation subjects was divided into 'initial classification' and 'reclassification', and the limitations of each were derived, and the necessity of using artificial intelligence was divided into initial classification and reclassification and considered. Through this, it was proposed to improve the initial classification and reclassification through the establishment of an 'artificial intelligence (AI)-based automatic classification system'.
 As for the specific improvement measures, first, in relation to the initial classification, ① a more sophisticated AI-based classification system was derived by combining the information analyzed during the initial classification with the evaluation method of the recidivism risk assessment tool (KPRAI-R), ② the career and A plan to use artificial intelligence to minimize the deviation according to inclination and expertise was presented. Second, in relation to reclassification, ① prepare an artificial intelligence-based automatic reclassification system based on post-mortem information analysis after the start of probation, ② prepare an alarm system to automatically recognize the risk of recidivism and prevent recidivism by analyzing additional information collected during probation presented.","PeriodicalId":246265,"journal":{"name":"Korean Association of Criminal Psychology","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135083001","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, this habits are risk factors for all road users, including drivers and pedestrians. Cars are described as a comfortable means of transportation for modern people and a collection of science and technology that improves the quality of life, but media reports on traffic accidents continue even today. Current study empirically reviewed the impact on safe driving habits by setting demographic variables and traffic accident experiences variables based on literature that reviewed factors affecting safe driving habits. In addition, the driver's satisfaction with insurance was set as a variable to explore the impact of insurance satisfaction on safe driving habits. Specifically, the judgement fairness of accident, insurance costs and procedural satisfaction on drivers' safe driving habits was verified through multiple regression analysis. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that gender, age, and traffic accident experiences had statistically significant effects on safe driving habits. On the other hand, only judgement fairness of accident among insurance satisfaction had statistically significant effect on safe driving habits. Based on these results, the policy implications for promoting safe driving habits were discussed.","PeriodicalId":246265,"journal":{"name":"Korean Association of Criminal Psychology","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135083339","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Analysis Results First, in the case of internal behavior perceived by police officials, it served as a factor that increased their motivation for public service. In addition, in the case of surface behavior, it was confirmed that it acted as a factor that hindered public service motivation. Second, it has been confirmed that both the supervisor's support and the organization's support, which are sub-variables of social support, have a significant impact on the police's public service motivation. Third, as a result of verifying the moderating effect of social support in the relationship between emotional labor and public service motivation of the police, it was confirmed that the support of the boss and the support of the organization rather weakens the relationship between the police's internal behavior and public service motivation. Next, it was confirmed that the support of the boss and the support of the organization alleviates the relationship between the police's surface behavior and public service motivation. Through the results of these studies, implications were derived for how to manage emotional labor and public service motivation of police officials.","PeriodicalId":246265,"journal":{"name":"Korean Association of Criminal Psychology","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133819892","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Accordingly, investigative agencies such as the police are making all-out efforts to discover substantive truths and arrest criminals by introducing various investigative techniques and systems based on technical theories. However, in the case of cold cases that are more than 10 years old among violent cases, there are problems such as preservation of evidence and loss of investigation records, and representative cases that can no longer be investigated due to past statute of limitations have recently become an issue. The police have created a department in charge of cold cases at each local police agency and actively introduced scientific investigation techniques to detect criminals and solve cases, resulting in remarkable results. Examples include the murder of a Guro pub and the murder of a bank robber in Daejeon. In order to solve the cold case, a clear definition of the cold case and a dedicated team to solve the case are needed, but each local police agency still works as a temporary organization rather than a dedicated organization, so it is urgent to establish a more stable organizational system. In addition, there were system problems such as insufficient cooperative investigation with other agencies and difficulty in information sharing, criticism of the investigation as a show-type investigation by focusing investigators on cases where people are focused attention, and lack of expertise due to limited investigation resources. Accordingly, it is necessary to review the introduction of specialized investigators in cold cases in developed countries and actively utilize the introduction of dedicated investigation teams through permanent organizations and the introduction of professional investigator certification systems to expand cold case cooperation and efficiently operate crime analysis systems. Therefore, this study objectively selected important violent crime cases rather than 100% resolution of all cold case cases, and sought efficient investigation measures to focus on high-level investigative power as at the beginning of the case until the case is resolved.","PeriodicalId":246265,"journal":{"name":"Korean Association of Criminal Psychology","volume":"56 11","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"113933757","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There are four hypotheses; first, strain-inducing hypothesis that smartphone addiction has negative influences on relationships with parents, teachers, and peers, which in turn affect both online and offline violent delinquency, second, strain reducing or spurious relationship hypothesis that relationships with parents, teachers, and peers explain both smartphone addiction and violent delinquency and the relationship between smartphone addiction and violent delinquency is spurious, third, opportunity hypothesis that the effects of relationships with parents, teachers, and friends on violent delinquency are mediated by smartphone addiction, and fourth, condition hypothesis that expects the interaction effect between smartphone addiction and relationships with parents, teachers, and peers on violent delinquency. This study tests relative efficacy among four hypotheses by using data from a panel study. Results show that smartphone addiction has effects on both relationships with parents and teachers, but it has not indirect but direct effect on both online and offline violent delinquency, which does not support strain-inducing hypothesis. Instead, relationships with parents and teachers have indirect effects on online violent delinquency through smartphone addiction, which supports opportunity hypothesis, but it is also shown that they have also indirect effects on offline violent delinquency and relationships with teachers and peers have direct effects on online violent delinquency. Results also do not support spurious hypothesis, and it is also shown that condition hypothesis is not supported. Overall, the effect of smartphone addiction is significant on both online and offline violent delinquency.","PeriodicalId":246265,"journal":{"name":"Korean Association of Criminal Psychology","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114339567","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Besides, these days, cyber stalking, stalking on SNSs, is occurring in many ways; therefore, it is urgent for us to come up with countermeasures for it. Of course, the Stalking Punishment Act has been in effect since the end of 2021; however, there are a lot of difficulties in punishing cyber stalking. Now is the time to discuss countermeasures for it. The purpose of this study is to examine the concept, trend, and actual status of cyber stalking and then figure out the problems and seek effective countermeasures for it. By conducting theoretical discussion, literature review, and status diagnosis on cyber stalking and then discussing the problems and countermeasures of cyber stalking, this researcher has reached the following conclusions. First, it is necessary to establish the exclusive law of cyber stalking. Second, it is needed to define cyber stalking and punish it severely. Third, it is necessary to provide preventive education on cyber stalking. Fourth, the use of cyber crisis management and consulting services is demanded.","PeriodicalId":246265,"journal":{"name":"Korean Association of Criminal Psychology","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125295588","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

According to the purpose of the study, the effects of adolescents' parents, school bonding, and discrimination on suicide were analyzed using a structural equation model, and the mediating effects of depression and social participation were also analyzed. The analysis results are summarized as follows. The weaker the bond with parents and schools and the more discriminated against, the higher the likelihood of suicide, and depression is also a factor that increases the intention to commit suicide. In the case of social participation, the more social participation, the higher the intention to commit suicide. Based on the results of the study, suggestions for youth suicide prevention are as follows. Adolescents with weakened bonding to parents and schools have higher depression and lead to suicide intentions. Programs to strengthen social bonding among teenagers whose social bonding have weakened should be created in more depth. In addition, such programs should include information on suicide prevention. The results that adolescents' social participation negatively affects suicide will require more specific research. It seems to mean that adolescents whose relationship with home and school has weakened are not meeting the deficiency even in youth centers. Therefore, it is necessary to improve and manage programs for youth centers.","PeriodicalId":246265,"journal":{"name":"Korean Association of Criminal Psychology","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134062159","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Lee, Dae-gyung Kwack","doi":"10.25277/kcpr.2023.19.2.93","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.25277/kcpr.2023.19.2.93","url":null,"abstract":"This study tried to empirically verify the relationship between adolescents' experience in human rights education and human rights abuse experiences such as hate discrimination. Human rights education among teenagers can have a positive effect not only on understanding the concept of human rights or improving human rights sensitivity, but also on recognizing and respecting differences from others through human rights education. While research on human rights education is centered on educational measures or effects that need to be improved, little research has been conducted on the effect of the results of education and the behavior of adolescents' human rights violations. Therefore, this study selected the second data of the “Children and Youth Human Rights Survey” conducted by the Korea Youth Policy Institute from 2018 to 2020, and used data from 9,017 in 2018, 9,240 in 2019, and 8,346 in 2020 for the final analysis. Descriptive statistical analysis, frequency analysis, cross-analysis, and logistic regression analysis were conducted year by year using the statistical program SPSS 28.0 ver. According to the study, the three-year human rights education experience exceeded 70% in 2018, while less than 50% in 2019 and 2020, but the results of the study showed that it was a positive (+) influence on the human rights violations of adolescents with human rights education experience. In other words, based on the research results, it is necessary to check the actual institutions and programs of youth human rights education based on the internalization of actual human rights education contents and operational methods to expect the effect of education. In particular, school violence is caused by mischief, and the beginning of the mischief can be caused by acts of human rights violations such as discrimination and hatred. Therefore, it is expected that human rights education that can contribute to preventing such acts of human rights violations will be used as basic data for the implementation of human rights education.","PeriodicalId":246265,"journal":{"name":"Korean Association of Criminal Psychology","volume":"48 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131488700","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
