To maintain their academic activities, several Indian educational institutes have shifted to online learning platforms. However, there are still questions about the effectiveness, design, and readiness of e-learning. In light of this fact, E-learning still tends to be controversial. As a result, it is inevitable to design an application with greater usability. In this paper, a novel application tool is developed and the design is proposed to enhance student knowledge and facilitate their study process, so they can study in comfort at home. The proposed system allows students to receive personalized educational assistance and also allows the students to get instant responses to all their questions throughout the day via a voice-enabled chatbot. It facilitates the connection between students and tutors, as well as the awarding of mind coins and badges based on how well they do, motivating them to learn more. Data analytics is incorporated and usability is measured. The result shows that the proposed system has greater usability resulting in a progressive improvement in the student’s performance.","PeriodicalId":246214,"journal":{"name":"2022 Third International Conference on Intelligent Computing Instrumentation and Control Technologies (ICICICT)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129885051","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The presence of cerebrospinal fluid and white matter in the brain makes it difficult to pinpoint the tumor's location. Human observation is prone to error, especially when performed by a radiologist with less experience segmenting the MRI image. They are manually classified after segmentation based on the tumor's growth rate, origin area, and harmfulness. Deep learning models can be used to separate and classify data efficiently. Classification can be done before or after segmentation; here, segmentation is performed using U-Net while classification is done utilising some of the most efficient CNN models: VGG16, Resnet50, Inception V3, and SqueezeNet. After noise removal and data augmentation, Resnet50 outperforms the other four pretrained CNN models for the classification of MRI images on the \"Cjdata\" dataset (also called the \"Brain Tumor\" dataset).","PeriodicalId":246214,"journal":{"name":"2022 Third International Conference on Intelligent Computing Instrumentation and Control Technologies (ICICICT)","volume":"224 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127436857","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Existing daytime surveillance research has improved performance by employing deep learning algorithms to recognize and track objects. However, due to low illumination and/or poor weather conditions, achieving the same performance for night vision are difficult. Face detection is a crucial task in surveillance. A face detection module based on merging of thermal and visual pictures is proposed. The encoder-decoder network of the fusion module extracts effective features from the given thermal and visual images using depth-wise convolution. By recording radiation information at a greater wavelength, the thermal face solves most of the limitations that visual faces have. The range of facial imageries that can be recognized is expanded by developing a method that recognizes thermal faces. Face recognition in thermal images is having high research scope, and it has been discovered that when thermal images are trained, it performs better.","PeriodicalId":246214,"journal":{"name":"2022 Third International Conference on Intelligent Computing Instrumentation and Control Technologies (ICICICT)","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130923303","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

From the beginning of human evolution to the present, the virus (or disease) has existed. The infection was easily transmitted from one person to the next. Viruses spread easily in places where people congregate, such as malls, theatres, hotels, train stations, and bus stations. Keeping this in mind, this work included several virus-prevention measures, such as the usage of a mask and a sanitization procedure. People are more interested in spending time outside, but they are not taking safety precautions, and people who are infected with viruses also go outside for daily activities, Viruses and hazardous illnesses are spreading faster than ever before, making it more difficult to stop them. We intend to use automatic sanitization and thermal temperature management to prevent the spread of virus or contagious disease. These are used to prevent the spread of viruses. Also, a booth is set up in the commencing (are) entering malls, hospitals, and hotels, among other locations. We are using the solar panel to supply the power. Through this work, we can quickly identify illnesses that affect people who attempt to enter malls, offices, bus stands etc. which we refer to as \"people gathering sites.\"","PeriodicalId":246214,"journal":{"name":"2022 Third International Conference on Intelligent Computing Instrumentation and Control Technologies (ICICICT)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132853818","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Memes are the visual content shared on the social media in the form of combination of picture and some textual phrases to depict light humour or jokes. However, some images in the form of memes can also be used to convey misinformation and hate, so their early automatic detection is necessary to stop the hate spreading to wide range of users or population which may cause unrest and harm to human life and property. In this paper, the hateful meme dataset by Facebook AI has been used to test the various unimodal and a multimodal approach to baseline performance for these models and highlight the challenges these hate memes pose to the community.","PeriodicalId":246214,"journal":{"name":"2022 Third International Conference on Intelligent Computing Instrumentation and Control Technologies (ICICICT)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132903130","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A MATLAB SIMULINK based model is developed for the grid connected two stage PV-system using inverter. From the PV panel maximum power needs to be drawn and injected to the grid in a grid connected photovoltaic system. Different MPPT topologies and control methods are available in literature. By using the Perturb and Observe MPPT algorithm in this paper, from the photovoltaic panel maximum power is obtained. To the inverter from the photovoltaic module, a DC input voltage is fed and a controlled AC output power is obtained by adjusting Id and Iq. The results obtained confirm controller performance is adequate under varying solar irradiance.","PeriodicalId":246214,"journal":{"name":"2022 Third International Conference on Intelligent Computing Instrumentation and Control Technologies (ICICICT)","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131948509","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Advancements in driving technology have brought about radical changes in driving behaviour and reduced routing time. However, there are also risks to users in terms of distraction or inattention. Driving in night possess more risk than in day time driving due to abuse of high beams of the head lamb. Similar to the night driving, travelling in foggy day is also difficult for all road user. As far as the disruptive effects of navigation systems are concerned, the empirical conclusions are heterogeneous. The project is aimed to develop a low and effective Advance driver assistance system which includes vehicle to vehicle communication and intelligent headlight control. The project also aims to study and analyse different multi-disciplinary techniques which include supervised machine learning techniques o effectively classify road surface conditions using data collected from smartphones to ensure a safe and comfortable driving. A Graphical User Interface was developed which increases the usability of the system. In particular, visual distraction caused by navigation systems in relation to map navigation was reviewed. The project aims to analyse the data in such a way as to improve road safety when using a navigation system in unfamiliar areas. The results show that less glances of more than 2 seconds were found on the navigation system while map navigation leads to higher off-road times.","PeriodicalId":246214,"journal":{"name":"2022 Third International Conference on Intelligent Computing Instrumentation and Control Technologies (ICICICT)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131704000","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
