In this case, these differences are smaller for the 10-second period and larger for the 60-second period. In addition, the shape of the histogram and the character of the parameters of the deviation are the same for all facilities. In the case of a time period of 10 seconds, the value of the mathematical deviation differs from each other by ±0.5%, and in the period of 60 seconds, ±0.7%. However, the differences of the standard deviations do not exceed ±0.1%. Thus, when using the information obtained by the statistical analyzer of the quality of deviation, it is necessary to draw all the characteristics obtained by means of this facility: the shape of the histogram, the probability of falling into different levels, the average value and the standard deviation. As a lawyer, the most stable information about the road network is standard. Taking this into account, this quantity should be used when determining the quality of the change. \u0000The following main results were obtained: The quality indicators of electric energy are determined by the distribution of voltage, waves, the symmetrical characteristic of the three-phase periodicity and the non-sinusoidal characteristic of the voltage. Technically, it entails determining the existence of a short run dynamics, long-run equilibrium relationship and causal link between the two variables. ARDL bound F-test is used to estimate the existence of a long-run equilibrium relationship as well as the short-term dynamics that exists between the variables. At 10% confidence level, the study provides evidence of the existence of a long-run equilibrium relationship between economic growth and electricity consumption as the calculated F statistics is greater than the upper bound I(1). The Error correction model from the ARDL bound F-test which indicates the short run dynamics, has an error correction term that is negative and significant at 5% level. The error term meets the threshold conditions to agree with the long-run equilibrium relationship established. For a shock in the GDP-energy consumption system, there is a 15.6% rate of adjustment to equilibrium. In the short-run, an increase in electricity consumption by 1% induces an increase in GDP growth by 0.69%. In addition, the diagnostics test shows that ECM model residuals have a constant variance, no correlation and normally distributed. In the long-run, electricity consumption has a positive effect on GDP growth. Granger causality test is used to determine the direction of causal link between the variables. The study provides evidence of unidirectional causal flow from GDP to electricity consumption at 10% confidence level. But there exists no causal flow from electricity consumption to GDP. Kenya is confirmed to fall in the conservation hypothesis. This implies that economic growth plays a critical role in electricity consumption growth rate.","PeriodicalId":244756,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Energy Research and Reviews","volume":"59 45","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140487139","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A deciduous tree, reaching up to 35m in height on fertile soils. It has a diameter of up to 1.5 m with 8-16 m bole. The bark is dark grey or pink with red latex. The plant is commonly found in all the Northern States and around South Western States of Nigeria in the rain forest zone. The plant begins to produce fruit after 15 – 25 years throughout the dry season. The fruit is woody capsule, 4-10 cm long and dehisces at maturity. The seeds have a very low moisture content which is good for oil extraction hence its selection. For the purpose of this study, Mahogany seed, distillation apparatus, jaw crusher, water distiller, chiller, soxhlet extractor, oven, digital weighing balance, n-hexane, are the materials used for the extraction. According to Soxhlet procedure, oil and fat from solid material are extracted by repeated washing (percolation) with an organic solvent, usually hexane or petroleum ether. 325 g of mahogany seed was used in 25-x 80-mm thimble. The Sample has an oil yield of 63.58%, with a cake of 206.62g after extraction and a moisture content of 9% as a result of volatile substance due to high vapor pressures. Further studies on the extraction of oil from mahogany seed is recommended with method other than soxhlet extraction method using n-hexane as extracting solvent as the best method of extraction for end users.","PeriodicalId":244756,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Energy Research and Reviews","volume":"289 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139152719","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Due to limited knowledge and technology, farmers depend on the sun through direct drying. Direct use of the sun for the drying process has disadvantages in uncertain weather such as cloudy or rainy. This results in the drying process not being optimal or even stopping. This research aims to use rice husks as energy to replace direct sun drying to produce optimal temperatures so that drying time is shorter and the quality of the dried food is hygienic. Rice husk as an energy source is applied through a rotating cylinder dryer. This dryer is tailored to farmers' needs, namely easy to operate at an affordable price. This energy can be utilized sustainably because it is abundant through a forced convection system and energy conversion using a heat exchanger. The design of the compact rotary dryer includes an integrated drying chamber in one unit with the combustion furnace and a heat exchanger. The drying chamber includes a rotating cylinder and a fixed cylinder. The test results show that hot air from burning rice husks flows through the heat exchange pipes by conduction from the furnace to the walls of the drying chamber and by forced convection through an exhaust fan installed in the drying chamber. The average environmental temperature of 29.55-29.69oC has increased when using one exhaust fan to 64.46oC and two exhaust fans to 60.11oC. This drying temperature can produce shorter drying times, so it can be applied to post-harvest product drying, which is energy-efficient and sustainable for small farmers. Based on research results, rotating cylinder dryers powered by rice husks are very suitable for small farmers to replace direct sun drying.","PeriodicalId":244756,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Energy Research and Reviews","volume":"25 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139269093","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
