Boards of directors play an important role in the success of the internationalization process of companies, as they contribute to strategic decision-making and support access to the resources and capabilities needed to enter the international market. The bibliometric analysis documents are the most influential articles, authors, journals and countries in this field of knowledge, highlighting the diversity of topics addressed. In addition, the co-occurrence analysis reveals the theoretical and conceptual core of the research, knowing the main theories and study variables analyzed. This review lays the groundwork for future research on boards of directors and the internationalization of companies, highlighting the need for more research at a global level, especially in Latin America. It also suggests future lines of research on emerging issues such as board capital and board-to-board networking","PeriodicalId":244517,"journal":{"name":"Corporate Governance and Organizational Behavior Review","volume":"72 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115755194","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The COVID-19 pandemic has been affecting many aspects of the economy and society; many enterprises, business households, and cooperatives had to suspend operations, reduce production scale or rotate production, directly affecting the income of employees. This article uses the employment survey data of the General Statistics Office in 2021 and uses labor law (National Assembly, 2019) to analyze the influence of the COVID-19 pandemic on reducing the income of workers in Vietnam. The model estimation results show that the influence of the COVID-19 pandemic on income reduction does not differ between male and female workers, and has a strong influence on the group without professional and technical qualifications. Based on the findings, several suggestions are proposed to improve workers’ income in the context of COVID-19.","PeriodicalId":244517,"journal":{"name":"Corporate Governance and Organizational Behavior Review","volume":"86 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116707782","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study adopts per capita income as the proxy for economic development, while loans to private sectors, loans to government sectors, money supply, and lending interest rate were the financial deepening variables. We use the Ng-Perron and Augmented Dickey-Fuller Breakpoint Unit Root Tests to check the presence of unit root, and in determining the order of integration of the variables– I(d) in the presence of structural break for each variables respectively, while the T-Y augmented Granger non-causality test is used to reveal how causal effects flow in this study. Hence, taking into account the effect of structural breaks, we found that bank loans to government sectors and lending interest rates were stationary series as p < 0.01. We also found from the T-Y Granger non-causality results in its overall sense that the feedback hypothesis by contrast to prior studies holds in the developing country context. The feedback hypothesis establishes that bank loans and economic development Granger cause each other. In this paper, we recommended among other things that the monetary authorities should regulate the activities of bank deposits to ensure that they gear up the growth of loans to private sectors by examining factors, such as lending interest rate which can possibly undermine lending to these sectors; considering their role as key engine of economic growth in any developing economy.","PeriodicalId":244517,"journal":{"name":"Corporate Governance and Organizational Behavior Review","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117267029","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The development of industrial cooperation has led to an increase in the number of science-intensive specialties resulting from economic activity, which has led to an increase in scientific and technological potential through the work of high-tech companies as well as to the emergence of some difficulties in the labor conditions of their employees (Beliakov et al., 2019; Blumen, 2015). The paper’s value relates to the possibility to increase the productivity and competitiveness of companies through employee satisfaction, as well as ensuring proper compliance with labor laws in the context of the legal link between the employer and the employee (Liashenko et al., 2021; Makedon et al., 2019). The international legal framework in the field of labor relations has been analyzed. The legislative experience of the United States of America, Great Britain, China, Ukraine, Portugal, and the Russian Federation in the implementation of the system of employee benefits and incentives has also been considered. The states were selected by the type of legal system based on the qualitative analysis method. The experience of some hi-tech companies in ensuring proper working conditions has been analyzed with the prospects for their implementation in Ukrainian realities","PeriodicalId":244517,"journal":{"name":"Corporate Governance and Organizational Behavior Review","volume":"86 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117270708","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It also aimed to find answers to key research questions: How do grants’ capabilities affect the performance of local NGOs)? Can NGOs maintain peer connections with local actors? Finding out the impact of different grants’ capabilities on the performance of local NGOs in Jordan will allow updating and order to inform the capacity building programs that are provided to local NGOs in Jordan by various stakeholders. NGOs performance proxy developed through two bases: American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) & common performance. While, grants’ capabilities are measured through five dimensions: governance and humanitarian principles, human resources, financial and accounting practices, procurement practices, and programmatic and monitoring practices. Different methods (interviews, questionnaires, and focus groups discussions) were used to collect the data from 69 local NGOs. The sample represents six groups located in different geographical areas. The study result indicates that there is a significant impact of the governance and human resource capacities on the performance of local NGOs in Jordan; while, there is no significant impact of the remaining grants’ capabilities factors on the performance of local NGOs. Resultantly, there is no consolidated and comparative analysis of the above. While the impact of neo-liberalism and capitalism on the experiences of investment facilitating agencies (IFAs) such as LAs is recognised in literature (Kuswanto, Hoen, & Holzhacker, 2017; Minh, 2019), an empirical gap exists in demonstrating this impact. Using a comparative multiple case study analysis research design, this study relies on the qualitative research method to empirically compare and contrast the experiences of two Namibian LAs, Windhoek and Walvis Bay, with facilitating Ramatex Textiles Namibia (RTN) and Namibian Press and Tools (NPT) as FDIs, respectively. It similarly draws insights from the impact of neo-liberalism and capitalism on these LA experiences with FDI. Unstructured qualitative interviews were conducted with 13 purposely-selected key respondents and data were interpreted, analysed, and presented in themes. This study found that while the developmental experience of the Windhoek LA with RTN was largely negative, the Walvis Bay LAs experience with NPT was neutral. These experiences are largely linked to the neoliberalist and capitalist orientation of Namibian legislation that fails to adequately embrace sustainable FDI for local development","PeriodicalId":244517,"journal":{"name":"Corporate Governance and Organizational Behavior Review","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123695851","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Effectively exploiting the relationship between a company, its environment and local assets can be a successful marketing strategy that can trigger a virtuous circle that benefits sustainable tourism development (Askegaard & Kjeldgaard, 2008; Napolitano & De Nisco, 2017). One fundamental tool for exploiting this potential is digital marketing (Marzo-Navarro & Pedraja-Iglesias, 2021). Within this framework, the present research investigates whether and how the wine industry in the Marche region (Italy) communicates its relationships with the milieu and cultural heritage on official websites. We developed a model to analyse the web marketing strategies adopted by 83 wineries belonging to a non-profit association whose main objective is the promotion of wine tourism. The model is structured in four sections: 1) corporate data, 2) content, 3) accessibility, 4) technical aspects. Starting with the gaps identified in the scientific literature on this topic, when we analysed the content dimension, we included information related to corporate and local cultural heritage, branding, and services and partnerships. The results show that the relationship between milieu and cultural heritage is not significantly communicated on the website, revealing much room for improvement. The evaluation model and the managerial implications could be applied to all companies in the agri-food sector and, more generally, in the made-in sector.","PeriodicalId":244517,"journal":{"name":"Corporate Governance and Organizational Behavior Review","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115033584","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Consequently, the study’s objectives are as follows: 1) to specify which good-deed behaviour is most important; 2) to apply the Wisdom Tree concept in categorising people in a society; 3) to investigate factors influencing the attitude toward doing good deeds, and 4) to determine which group of the population should be encouraged to do good deeds in order to drive good-deed promoting frameworks. Chi-square analysis was performed to compare collected data through a thousand samples. The findings indicate that the three highest-scoring good-deed behaviours (3G) include returning recovered lost objects to their rightful owner, abiding by laws and traffic regulations, and making timely loan payments. Student status, age, and education level influence the four categories when segmenting individuals based on the Wisdom Tree concept and the priority assigned to 3G behaviours.
