A PV inverter system, for supplying the micro-grid, was designed and simulated using Matlab-Simulink. The simulations are done for three different power factors, showing in this way how the power factor can influence the behavior of the system, especially when the transitory regime occurs. A PI control strategy is used for controlling the PV inverter system. PHEVs are the next generation of hybrid vehicles that offer important advantages over even the cleanest and most efficient of today's vehicles. They use significantly less gasoline and have lower emission rates compared to the current hybrids and conventional vehicles and also have the ability to charge from the electric grid. In this paper conversion of a series hybrid vehicle into a plug-in hybrid without the need to neither change the power train design nor the rating of the electric motor and engine is discussed. Also the performance of a series hybrid vehicle is compared with the converted plug-in model of the same vehicle using the advanced vehicle simulator (ADVISOR). The comparison outlines the benefits of the plug-in version in terms of fuel consumption and emissions and indicates that for distances more than twice the all-electric range, a PHEV is not considered economical taking into account the extra battery cost. The new algorithm uses a stronger codification method than the classical binary one. Moreover, the proposed implementation uses only four optical sensors which make the method economically efficient. The algorithm and the proposed encoder where tested on an experimental setup. Design of the setup assures the control of all relevant parameters. Voltage errors on phase and between phases against the load null are presented, as well as the fact that phase voltage error against load null is in phase with the current. This permits us to consider that the inverter behaves on each phase as an ideal voltage source series connected with a variable resistance, that leads to an increased motor instability degree. We first formulate the rate constraint and scheduling constraint. In this way, we use multi-commodity flow variables. Then formulate resource allocation in networks with fixed wireless channel and single-rate devices. Because of entrance of the effect mobility in optimal design, we formulate resource allocation as utility and cost function, together in a maximization problem with those constraints. By dual decomposition, decompose the resource allocation problem vertically into three sub-problems:, congestion control, routing and scheduling. Vector control of PMSM is popular kind of its control .But nonlinearity of PMSM and existence of inverter in its control circuit caused that optimal gains with conventional optimal control theory can not be found. In this paper first the complete vector control of PMS (including flux leakage model) is modeled with poincare map then the time variant model with averaging theory is converted to time invariant. Finally the system is converted to linear form with jacobian of resultant model. With the increased number of pilgrims every year (over 2.5 million pilgrims currently), the problems and difficulties facing the pilgrims and the Hajj authorities have also been on the rise - especially in crowd control and the prevention of accidents. A significant number of pilgrims die due to both accidents and natural causes, and a large number get lost in this extremely crowded gathering. The authorities are faced with the problem of identifying the dead and injured pilgrims as well as helping those who get lost during the Hajj. In this paper, a solution based on RFID technology to help the Hajj authorities in the identification of pilgrims is developed. Load-shedding is necessary to prevent phenomena such as voltage collapse and line over load which may lead to cascade outages and then black-out In this paper, a new optimal load-shedding approach is presented. One of the important specifications of this method is that amount of load shed from each bus is determined. In this research, studies consist of critical single line and generator outage based on contingency ranking. The optimal load-shedding is formulated as a nonlinear optimization problem subject to operation and security constraints, where objective function is the service interruption cost. Finally, the load-shedding problem is also solved by Genetic and Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithms, in which weighting factors are determined using AHP method.
