The modeling of the battery was performed using the Thevenin equivalent circuit model with two RC branches and the nonlinear least squares method with the Levenberg-Marquardt optimization algorithm for parameter estimation. The modeling technique presents the most applicable and trivial solution to study and describe the behavior and performance of the battery. The experimental evaluation was performed on a 7,7 kWh battery pack installed at the Institute of Energy Technology, Faculty of Energy Technology, University of Maribor. Based on the estimated parameters of the Thevenin equivalent circuit, the model results show good agreement with measurements. The functional diagram of a free-piston internal combustion engine with a linear generator of electromagnetic type works in two strokes (compression and piston) was built. The simulation model was made based on a functional diagram, a free-piston internal combustion engine with a linear generator of an electromagnetic type block diagram. The model has been tested on the Kharkiv - Borki road sections of 44.5 km with an average speed of 40 km/h and a train's weight of 600 tons. The analysis of the results of the simulation showed that the fuel consumption was 44.8 kg, which is 9% less than in traditional systems. Analysis and synthesis of optimal indicators is the basis for a more in-depth interpretation of new facts obtained at the empirical level. This makes it possible to evaluate the process of electrical power consumption at energy-intensive enterprises, including mining ones in particular. The current level of electrification of mining production enables specifying a number of properties of this process in some general terms. Relevance of their study is due to an increase in power consumption efficiency at mining enterprises. These properties should undoubtedly be attributed primarily to efficiency of power supply and consumption. Simultaneously, an important aspect in conducting the research is the fact that increased efficiency of power consumption at mining enterprises is inextricably linked with the problem of evaluating changes in power consumption modes over time, which is essential and is determined by specifics of mining conditions. The research aims to develop a synergistic mathematical model for optimizing power consumption through total cost indices of power consumption by iron ore mines' consumers. On the basis of methodological foundations of synergetics and methodological approaches to nonlinear optimization, the authors' synergistic mathematical model is formed. This approach is based on the application of the finite element method and a software package for a general technical analysis of physical processes. Variable data of the technique are: the bearing design parameters, the control law parameters and the initial data of a variant parametric analysis of magnetic forces depending on the position of the rotor in active magnetic bearings and control signals. Geometric and finite element calculation models are three-dimensional. They accurately reconstitute the geometry of the stator and rotor parts of magnetic circuits, pole coils, internal and external air spaces and air gaps between the rotor and the pole. The active magnetic bearing control law is control voltages on electromagnets windings. Their values depend on the instantaneous position of the bearing journal and the instantaneous values of currents in pole coils circuits. In finite element calculation models, the load is specified in the form of current density in the volumes of the coils, taking into account the direction of the turns at each point. Its value is determined in accordance with the control law and the parameters of electrical circuits. The magnetic forces are calculated from the Maxwell tension tensor in a given cloud of points of the rotor position. The force characteristics are dependences of the restoring magnetic forces on the displacement of the bearing journal in two radial directions. The results of computational studies to determine the dependences of magnetic forces on rotor displacements for the design of an active magnetic bearing used in an experimental scale model of a turbocompressor of a gas compressor unit with active magnetic bearings are presented.
