Therefore, it is of great significance to scrutinize the consumers ' purchase behaviours and the related factors that have major effects on purchase intention or behaviour. This study analysed the data from laboratory setting first, then the online sales data from Taobao.com to explore how the influential factors, such as online reviews (positive vs. negative mainly), risk perception (higher vs. lower) and product types (experiencing vs. searching), interacted on the online purchase intention or online purchase behaviour. The results showed that: (1) in the laboratory setting, the online purchase intention was greatly affected by the online reviews and the interaction between the reviews and the product types. In particular, the purchase intention was higher presented with positive reviews than negative ones, especially for experiencing products. Furthermore, stronger purchase intention was found for experiencing goods with lower risk perception and positive reviews. (2) For the real online transaction data, interestingly, the positive reviews had no effects on purchase, but the neural/negative reviews may negatively affect the purchase behaviour for products with higher risk perception. In addition, these findings were discussed from theories and practice perspectives respectively.","PeriodicalId":241191,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 4th International Conference on Crowd Science and Engineering","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127088554","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on the online public opinion filed and theory of reasoned action, this paper constructed the public opinion diffusion behavior model of public emergencies, and introduced the government information publishing strategy as a moderator. Investigating the influence mechanism of different government information publishing strategies on media information and personal perception relationships is the key focus of this paper. The results showed that the source credibility and information popularity affect the people's psychological perception (perceived opinion of leaders, flow experience, perceived risk, emotional attitude), which ultimately affects the public opinion diffusion behavior. At the same time, comparisons of translucent and opaque government information, the degree of government information disclosure, negatively affects the influence of source credibility on individual perception, and the influence of information on the immersive experience and the perceived opinion of the leader.","PeriodicalId":241191,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 4th International Conference on Crowd Science and Engineering","volume":"45 2","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114128994","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Those system are characterized by large amount of data, openness, self-organization and ecologization. In terms of its components, the digital itself has taken on great changes. There have been heterogeneity changes in the way of interconnection, and the interconnection among digital-selves has been further deepened in depth and breadth. Modeling and simulation of crowd behavior and intelligence is widely used in many fields and disciplines. This paper proposes a general model of simulation members for digital-self in crowd networks, which is used to modelling the intelligent activities of digital-selves. The general model can be separated into eight parts. These eiht parts are pattern, executor, decider, decompositor, interator, affector, monitor and comparator.","PeriodicalId":241191,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 4th International Conference on Crowd Science and Engineering","volume":"18 797 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124851451","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Currently, the evidence as to what extent developers accept large-scale crowd-testing is limited. This paper aims to (1) gauge developers' perspectives with respect to the participation of the public and anonymous crowd testers, with varied experiences; (2) gather the developers' needs that could reduce their concerns of dealing with the public crowd testers and increase the opportunity of using the crowd-testing platforms. An online exploratory survey, conducted to included 50 Android and iOS developers from different countries with diverse experiences. This paper revealed several findings including the information that must be provided by developers and crowd testers for achieving effective crowd-testing process; the factors that can ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results provided by the public crowd testers. The findings conclude that (90%) of developers are potentially willing to perform testing via the public crowd testers worldwide. This on condition that several fundamental features were available which enable them to perform more realistic tests without artificial environments on large numbers of devices. The results also demonstrated that a group of developers does not consider testing as a serious job that they have to pay for, which can affect the gig-economy and global market. We aim at helping the individual or small development teams who have limited resources to perform large-scale testing of their products.","PeriodicalId":241191,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 4th International Conference on Crowd Science and Engineering","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128138262","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper focuses on the Industrial Internet firm size, and takes transaction efficiency as the dynamic of the firm size's changing. Through building a decision model of the firm size involved organization cost and solving the optimization problem, this paper reveals the relationship between the optimal firm size and transaction efficiency. The results show that with the increase of transaction efficiency, the Industrial Internet firms gradually improve the level of specialized production. Firms will decrease the kinds of industrial services they produce and increase the kinds of industrial services they purchase. When the sales volumes of the product and industrial services are less than the upper bound, firms expand the size. When the sales volumes of the product and industrial services are equal to the upper bound, firms reduce the size.","PeriodicalId":241191,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 4th International Conference on Crowd Science and Engineering","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132017543","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

GSS dataset is regarded as one of the authoritative source for the government and organization practitioners to make data-driven policies. The previous analytic approaches for GSS dataset are designed by combining expert knowledges and simple statistics. In this paper, we proposed a comprehensive data management and data mining approach for GSS datasets. The approach is designed to be operated in a two-phase manner: a data management phase which can improve the quality of GSS data by performing attribute preprocessing and filter-based attribute selection; a data mining phase which can extract hidden knowledges from the dataset by performing data mining analysis including prediction analysis, classification analysis, association analysis and clustering analysis. By leveraging the power of data mining techniques, our proposed approach can explore knowledges in a fine-grained manner with minimum human interference. Experiments on Chinese General Social Survey dataset are conducted at the end to evaluate the performance of our approach.","PeriodicalId":241191,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 4th International Conference on Crowd Science and Engineering","volume":"79 3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116475269","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
