Chromatogram was run through standard Zorbax C18 (150mm x 4.6 mm, 5μ particle size). Mobile phase containing buffer 0.01N KH2PO4: Acetonitrile taken in the ratio of 60:40 was pumped through column at a flow rate of 1.0 ml/min. Buffer used in this method was 0.01N KH2PO4 buffer. Temperature was set to 30C. Optimized wavelength selected was 240.0 nm. Retention time of Cytarabine and Daunorubicin were found to be 2.325 min and 3.208 nm. % RSD of Daunorubicin and Cytarabine were found to be 0.6 and 0.6 respectively. %Recovery was obtained as 100.30% and 100.33% for Daunorubicin and Cytarabine respectively. LOD, LOQ values obtained from regression equation of Daunorubicin and Cytarabine were 0.09, 0.28 and 0.32, 0.97 respectively. The regression equation of Daunorubicin and Cytarabine is y=39589X+28710 and y=32928X+12457 respectively Retention times were decreased and that run was decreased, so the method was simple and economical that can be adopted in regular Quality control test in Industries.","PeriodicalId":23975,"journal":{"name":"World journal of Pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences","volume":"140 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78537662","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This was a prospective, observational study carried out among patients of COPD in a tertiary care hospital to evaluate demographic, etiologicandco-morbidity status.Study was carried out by reviewing prescription of 120 COPD patients,out of which 67.5% were malesand 32.5% were females. The majority of the patients were in age group of 56-60 years (34.16%). Among 120 patients, 65.83% were smokersand48.33% were alcoholics. Etiologic assessment reflected that 68.33% patientbelongs to low socioeconomic status followed by exposure to biomass smoker 8.33%. Out of 120 patients, 53.33% were not havingany other co-morbid condition and the most common co-morbidity found in remaining patients was hypertension 17.5%. This study was concluded to state that such studies were found helpful for existing patient population, publicsand also for scientific researchers.","PeriodicalId":23975,"journal":{"name":"World journal of Pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences","volume":"40 3 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89500552","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Merr., known traditionally as a multivitamin plant being cultivated in kitchen garden throughout south Indian region. Different organic solvents such as Ethyl acetate, hexane, and methanol were used to extract the bioactive compounds from the fresh air dried plant leaves. Among which ethyl acetate extracted most of the bioactive compounds efficiently. The compounds like tannins, flavonoids, proteins, terpenoids, coumarins and steroids were extracted at varied concentration remain parallel with their bioactive principles. Test organisms used were Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Bacillus subtilis showed their sensitiveness with the ethyl acetate extract in vitro. The percentage scavenging activity was also observed to be more with ethyl acetate extract, which was found to increase with concentration.","PeriodicalId":23975,"journal":{"name":"World journal of Pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences","volume":"26 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89736695","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Immunity is described as a condition of being able to resist a particular disease especially through preventing the development of a pathogenic microorganism or by counteracting the effects of its products. The immune system is a bodily system that produces the immune response to defend your body from foreign substances, cells and tissues. The immune system includes various parts of the body including the thymus, spleen, lymph nodes, special deposits of lymphoid tissue (such as those in the gastrointestinal tract and bone marrow), macrophages, lymphocytes including the B cells and T cells and antibodies. This review summarizes various citrus fruit and their bioactive components having a positive effect to promote immunity responses in humans body. Additionally, we highlight the health-promoting properties along with Pharmacodynamic and Phytochemical properties of Citrus fruit described in Ayurveda and their potential usage.","PeriodicalId":23975,"journal":{"name":"World journal of Pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences","volume":"18 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89912417","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Angiogenesis and microvascular lesions are common features of RA inflammation, which leads to abnormal serum protein infiltration into the synovium. The objective of the study was to determine the preliminary phytochemical constituents, to evaluate acute toxicity studies, In-vitroanti-oxidant studies, In vitroand In-vivoanti-arthritic activity of theroot bark of Spathodea campanulata.. Paw edema was induced in rats by intra plantar injection of 0.1ml of Complete Freund’s Adjuvant (CFA) in left hind paw. The ethanolic extract of Spathodea campanulata (150mg/Kg & 300mg/Kg) and Diclofenac Sodium were orally administered for 28 consecutive days.Percentage inhibition was determined by Protein denaturation method and Membrane Stabilizing Activity Hematological, Histopathology, Radiological Analysis of CFA-induced arthritis in rat was performed. Statisticalsignificant was analyzed by one-way ANOVA followed by Tukey test.
