Each sample was normalized at 1,040 °C for 1 h prior to tempering at different temperatures for 2 hours. Three levels of tempering conditions, 600, 650, and 700 °C, were tested in this study. After treatment, the metallurgical structures of the samples were observed and characterized by optical microscope (OM), scanning electron microscope (SEM), energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer (EDS) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). Hardness and static tensile of the samples at room and elevated temperatures were also measured and analyzed. Non-destructive testing (NDT) associated with the eddy current method was employed to detect the microstructural changes of samples. The results revealed that the lath martensitic structure, lath boundaries, coarse precipitates, and prior austenite grain boundaries were found at grain boundaries and inside the matrix region. The average size of the particle and area fraction of carbide precipitates decreased with tempering temperature increases from 600 − 650 °C. The true yield stress and true ultimate tensile stress decreased while true strain increased when the tempering process was applied after the normalization. In addition, the use of the eddy current method at 100 kHz with proper conductivity could more accurately detect the microstructural changes of 9Cr-1Mo steel specimens than using the phase angle approach. Also, buildup factors (BFs) have been estimated at widely energy ranging 15 keV – 15 MeV for penetration depths (PD) until 40 mean free path (mfp). The results of glass system in formula (70–x) TeO2–30P2O5–xWO3 at   x = 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 mol% exhibited that the partial replacement of TeO2 by WO3 was adjusted photons attenuation behaviors for get better. In addition, mass sopping power (MSP) and projected range (PR) were evaluated using SRIM software program for proton (H+1) and alpha particles (He+2) at kinetic energy ranging 10 keV – 10 MeV. The results may be inferred that glass sample with high WO3 content was superb for photons, proton and alpha particles attenuation. The experiment was conducted at 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 V from each of the four different electrolyte concentrations. For each sample, the commutative hydrogen production is notated/measured up to 20 ml, and the time for 20 ml hydrogen production is noted. The results show that at 5 V, the time required to produce 20 ml of hydrogen is longer, whereas at 30 V, the time required is shorter, regardless of concentration. The products were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and UV-vis spectroscopy. The nanowires were an average diameter of about 10–50 nm and an average range length of micrometer scales. The dielectric relaxation in the MnxTi3-xO7 (Na0.96H1.04∙3.42H2O) system was determined by LCR Meter in difference frequency (102–106 Hz) at various temperatures. The Mn-doped TNWs samples showed a giant dielectric exhibit with a dielectric constant of about 104 at 30 °C and 1 kHz. They all have a Debye-like relaxation based on the Maxwell-Wagner polarization. The AZO films were prepared onto n-type silicon (100) and glass slide substrates. A comparison, all samples were assigned 400 nm of AZO film thickness and then the prepared AZO films were investigated by field-emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM) for surface morphologies, X-ray diffraction (XRD) for crystallinity, UV-Vis-NIR spectrophotometry for optical property, Four-point probe and Hall effect instrument for electrical properties, respectively. The results from FE-SEM image showed that the AZO film was columnar structure. The XRD patterns of AZO films demonstrated the crystal growth direction which preferred AZO growth was indicated the (polycrystalline) hexagonal wurtzite structure. For the optical property, the transmittance (%T) clearly showed transparent film, indicating good average value which was 81.54 – 83.28% in visible region (380 to 780 nm of wavelength). Furthermore, the sheet resistivity, high mobility and carrier concentration displayed 91.48 Ohm sq−1, 3.40 cm2 Vs–1 and 7.00 × 1020 cm–3, respectively. These results were decided that the position of plate valve of 85% with operating pressure of 2.70 × 10–3 mbar was the optimal condition. Supercapacitors carbon electrode was synthesized from a sacred lotus leaf. The none activated carbon sacred lotus leaf powder (CSLL) and the carbon sacred lotus leaf were mixed with potassium hydroxide (KOH) in the ratio of 1 : 1, 1 : 2, and 1 : 3 which were called CSLL, CSLL-1 : 1, CSLL-1 : 2 and CSLL-1 : 3, respectively. The structural, morphological properties and element component were analyzed with x-ray diffraction (XRD) technique, the field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM) and energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy (EDX), respectively. Electrical properties were measured by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and charge–discharge techniques. JCPDS 01-072-2091 data file confirmed the carbon-like (110) plan at 2 theta of 29.43° CSLL-1 : 1 and CSLL-1 : 2 showed high crystalline sizes. Morphology of CSLL-1 : 1 and CSLL-1 : 2 samples exhibited corrosion of surface clearly nevertheless carbon cluster adhered continuously on surface affect to higher the surface area. Carbon element of CSLL, CSLL-1 : 1 and CSLL-1 : 2 samples were obtained as high as of 74.50, 79.30 and 76 % by atomic, respectively which it was suitable characteristic of activated carbon electrode. The highest specific capacitance of CSLL-1 : 2 electrodes displayed approximately 40.85 F g-1 at the scan rate of 20 mVs-1. Moreover, the charge–discharge time of CSLL-1 : 1 and CSLL-1 : 2 electrodes showed the long discharge time more than the discharge time of CSLL-1 : 3 and CSLL electrodes. The performances of electrode demonstrated with charge-discharge of 1,500 and 1,000 cycles found that the CSLL-1 : 1 and CSLL-1 : 2 electrodes exhibited high stability. The starting materials including coconut shells and cricket legs were used to synthesize graphene. The synthesized graphene specimens were characterized by Ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy (UV-Vis), Powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) technique, Dispersive Raman spectroscopy, SEM, and TEM. Both resultant graphene samples: coconut shells and cricket legs showed graphene characteristics with the maximum wavelength of UV spectrum of synthesized graphene in ethanol at ~244 nm comparable with a standard graphene. The graphene characteristics of coconut shells and cricket legs were also confirmed by XRD showing (002) peak at 2θ≈26°. The SEM images showed lamella structure and wrinkle texture, demonstrating the multilayered microstructure and crumpled sheets and folded sheets. The TEM images also confirmed the layered sheets restacking structure with the different numbers of sheets and expressed that the graphene is a semitransparent material. Data obtained from Raman spectroscopy indicated that the defect of structure band or D-band at 1,340 – 1,380 cm–1, the graphite band or G-band at 1,500 – 1,600 cm–1 corresponding to sp2 of carbon atom, the graphene band or 2D-band at 2,500 – 2,600  cm–1 showing that the structure of graphene is a multilayer with small sizes and the overtone band of graphite or 2G - band at 3,100 – 3,200 cm–1. Horprathum","doi":"10.55674/jmsae.v11i2.244615","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.55674/jmsae.v11i2.244615","url":null,"abstract":"In this research, the electrical and optical properties of nanostructured Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) films were investigated.  The ITO films were deposited by ion assisted e-beam evaporation with the glancing angle deposition (GLAD) technique on commercial ITO substrates, followed by annealing treatment. The results of crystal structure showed that the nanostructured ITO films are polycrystalline and cubic bixbyite structure (222). The sheet resistance and average transmission at the visible region were 12.17 W sq−1 and 89 %, respectively. The films presented the lowest resistivity and good transparency, where the sheet resistance and an average transmittance were 11.21 W sq−1 and 91% after annealing. The omnidirectional characteristics for a wide range of incident angle (0 − 80°) of nanostructured ITO film which was annealed at 300 °C had higher optical transmission than films without annealing. In this study, we analyze the effect of magnetic fields on lanthanum electrodeposition. Electrochemical analysis techniques used are linear sweep voltammetry (LSV) and Chronoamperometry (CA). LSV is used to measure the maximum current (limiting current). To determine the maximum current, the result of the LSV must be plotted in a Tafel plot. Tafel generated from LSV is the electrode potential (mV) with the logarithm of the current density (Log iL (A·cm–2)). The diffusion coefficient of the electroactive species was determined using chronoamperometry (CA). The results showed that the effect of increasing the working electrode area (A), magnetic field strength (B), and electroactive concentration (C) gave a certain increase in limiting current. Meanwhile, the addition of solution viscosity (v) and diffusion coefficient (D) will reduce the limiting current value for lanthanum electrodeposition.
