It was noted that in the USSR and Russia until 2008 there were systems of admission to the production and use of new and modernized fuel and lubricants based on their tests in order to assess the physicochemical and operational properties. It is indicated that the simple compliance of the fuel and lubricants quality indicators with the requirements of standards and technical regulations is not enough to fully guarantee the safety of use and operational reliability of the equipment. The need to recreate a unified state system of quality control of fuel and lubricants (System) in the Russian Federation is justified. In this article the possibility of suppling the kerosene fraction into the live reflux line of the K-2 column of the atmospheric vacuum pipestill units is reviewed. According to the results of mathematical calculations in the Petro-SIM software, the fraction 140-240°С was determined as optimal for supplying into the top live reflux line of the K-2 column of the atmospheric vacuum pipestill unit. This action makes it possible to reduce the load on the condensing system of the K-2 column of the atmospheric vacuum pipestill units; the heat potential of the hotter kerosene flow also increases, both for heating oil and for generating low-pressure steam. A detailed analysis of fractions 85-180 oC, 180-360 oC and 360-KK oC, isolated from thermolysis products, has been carried out. Fractions 85-180 °C, 180-360 °C of thermolysis oil are characterized by a high content of organosulfur compounds, which necessitates their hydrotreating before use. After desulfurization, gasoline and diesel fractions can be used in the composition of gasoline and diesel fuels, respectively. The diesel fraction of 180-360 °C of thermolysis oil has a high cetane number and can be considered as a cetane-increasing component. Fraction 360-КК оС thermolysis oil is a potential component of catalytic cracking feedstock. Global technical requirements for the level of properties of engine oils are traditionally improved, both in the direction of meeting the design features of new engines and their operating conditions. For example, the market for motor oils for automotive diesel engines is gradually moving to products with lower kinematic viscosity with the advancement of the advantages of new technologies, which makes them more accessible for use by truck fleets. Over the past decades, engine oils with viscosity grades 15W-40 according to SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers - SAE) in the heavy truck market and 10W-30 according to SAE in the passenger car market have been the main ones. More recently, there has been a transition to truck operation on SAE 10W-30 viscosity grades, and a trend has gradually emerged towards the use of the latest category of engine oils for diesel engines FA-4 API (American Petroleum Institute - API) with a lower viscosity. This model provides a prediction of the catalytic cracking performance when the mixture of vacuum distillate from heavy Kazakhstan and West Siberian oils converts. The mathematical model helps predict the yield and composition of products depending on the feedstock properties and the operating variables of the riser. Tishina","doi":"10.32758/2782-3040-2021-0-6-50-54","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.32758/2782-3040-2021-0-6-50-54","url":null,"abstract":"In this paper, an attempt is made on the basis of the data of chemical and phase analysis of carbon de-posits to outline the range of chemical compounds that, when added to oil and/or water products, will contribute to the effective removal of carbon deposits, copper plating and, in general, the care of mod-ern small arms. The results of the study of carbon deposits settling in the barrel of the machine gun after the shot are presented. It is shown that domestic rifle oils or their foreign analogues do not completely remove carbon from the barrels of small arms, so it is necessary to develop new special compositions. These studies of the composition of carbon deposits in automatic small arms and the analysis of the cleaning properties of rifle oils allow us to outline the main directions of further research and offer more effective compositions for the care of weapons. To remove copper plating from the barrels of fire arms, only water compositions that include organic compounds that form stable complex compounds with Cu(II) will be effective. For cleaning and lubri-cating weapons, it is advisable to develop rifle oils based on a new base oil and solvent, and as a corro-sion inhibitor, a complex-acting inhibitor can be considered, for example, synthetic dialkyl naphthalene sulfonates of barium or neutral type calcium.
