Tan-Soetedjo","doi":"10.32535/apjme.v5i3.1907","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.32535/apjme.v5i3.1907","url":null,"abstract":"The river is one of the primary sources of fresh water. It serves purposes for irrigation systems in agriculture, fulfilling domestic needs (water drinking, washing), transportation medium, energy production, and leisure. In West Bandung, the Cikapundung River becomes the source of life to sustain the population. More than 50% of the population upstream Cikapundung lives as agriculture and dairy farmers. Unfortunately, due to those activities, the river condition is considered unhealthy. Agriculture and dairy farmers discharge their wastes into the river instead of employing them for biogas, despite biogas's role in ensuring farming sustainability. Thus, Chemical Engineering Department and Student Society (HMPSTK) of Parahyangan Catholic University (UNPAR) constructed a system involving biodigester to produce biogas from agricultural waste (cow manure and organic waste) as a prototype solution for this issue. The community service program was divided into seven stages: a) Problem identification, b) Location survey and advocacy, c) Sample collection, d) Research, e) Construction of a biogas digester, f) Socialization with the local community, and g) Follow-up of the outcomes. In fact, a 5,000 Liter of fiberglass bio-digester was successfully installed in Cibodas Village, Maribaya, Lembang, with the help of PRIMARY (Program Biogas Rumah), a local biogas contractor. The mixture of livestock manures and organic waste of a 3:1 ratio produced the largest biogas volume. Biogas generated from biodigester was applied for cooking and lighting kerosene lamps. The result showed that no leakage was observed until 3-years of installation of the biodigester. However, it is suggested that a continuous and solid system involving multiple ways of manure processing such as the biogas and vermicompost production as well as the biogas utilization should be designed to encourage not only a eco-friendly solution but also to initiate a circular economy model in the community. Thus, it will be a sustainable solution not only for overcoming the largest issue of Cikapundung Rivers's organic waste disposal but also for the other agriculture and farming in Indonesia.","PeriodicalId":237219,"journal":{"name":"Asia Pacific Journal of Management and Education","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134021544","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Human capital is an important thing that always exists in life around the world, human capital must and can be measured in quality, but there are challenges in developing human capital, namely: lack of operational definitions and value assessment of human resources owned, process complexity, subjectivity in its application, and the inconsistent information needs of administrators. In a buying and selling business, there are also unique characteristics, namely the lack of structure, the importance of persuasion and the development and maintenance of good relationships, things like this greatly affect the performance of Human Resources. Another thing that can affect the quality of your Human Resources is psychology. We conducted an analysis starting from the influence of forests on various sectors and their interrelationships. We will investigate forest research systems and the principle of the circular economy. Naturally, forests and the circular economy are closely associated with industrial expansion. We identified four main topics in our initial research to understand the future potential benefits of a circular economy: Forests, Industry and Environmental Sustainability, Circular Economy, and pollution. Each subject is developable based on our study of thousands of research articles discovered using direct scientific search, emerald, and Google Scholar. Forests play a role as a supporter and an indicator of the success of sustainable economic development in industrial revolution 4 and circular economics. Industry and environmental sustainability are at the center of the concept of circular economics. Circular financial play a significant role in addressing ecological improvements—pollution results from industrial activities that threaten the environment and must be recycled or minimized.","PeriodicalId":237219,"journal":{"name":"Asia Pacific Journal of Management and Education","volume":"88 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126891789","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The problem faced by farmers is the management of cropping system, especially in maximizing revenue gains from managing resources. During this time farmers has not been able to obtain an ideal profit, only in the break-even stage between business income and expenditure. This study aims to: (1) determine the optimization model of production and maximum profit of farming, and (2) determine the optimal allocation of production resources. The research was conducted in Pringsewu and Lampung Selatan Districts. The respondents are 20 organic rice farmers. The research method used is a quantitative method using Linear Programing analysis method using POM-QM for windows 3.0 helper software. The result shows that Linear Function for Z max objective = 30,573X1 + 16,906X2 + 1,500X3 where X1, X2, and X3 are organic rice, non-organic rice, and soybean. The optimal production of farming is only producing organic rice with planting area of 19.2713 hectares and the maximum profit obtained is Rp.589,181,300,-. Optimization model of organic rice farming production is Max Z = 30573X1. The use resources of land, labor and seeds is not optimal yet or unutilized while the availability is at the farmers' level of excess, so that under optimal conditions land use, labor and seeds need to be added from the existing stock. The allocation of used capital resources shows that its use has been optimal and if the farmers increase the capital utilization by 1 unit, it will increase the business profit by Rp 2.282,- Keywords: - Organic Rice, Production Optimization, Linear Programming","PeriodicalId":237219,"journal":{"name":"Asia Pacific Journal of Management and Education","volume":"64 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116609795","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The present study employed consumers of a pharmaceutical brand originating from Japan. The online survey gathered 293 data that could be used for analysis. By using the two types of positive WOM (face-to-face WOM and electronic WOM, later abbreviated as f-WOM and e-WOM) this study revealed that the brand experience was positively associated with e-WOM and f-WOM. Brand experience was associated with e-WOM through brand love, brand image and brand loyalty. In addition, brand experience was associated with f-WOM through brand love, brand image and brand loyalty. The study offers important information to marketers. Through brand property management, organizations would scan positive WOM from their consumers, in turn it may be a good spontaneous promotion at their brands.","PeriodicalId":237219,"journal":{"name":"Asia Pacific Journal of Management and Education","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128900047","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
