Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah studi kasus deskriptif kualitatif. Sampel penelitian diambil secara purposive sampling dengan mengambil 4 subjek dari kelas 7D dan 3 subjek dari kelas 7C. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data berupa instrumen Van Hiele Geometri Test (VHGT), soal tes berpikir kritis, dan wawancara. Analisis kualitataif dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah Mixed Methods. Penelitian ini merupakan PTK yang terdiri dari 6 pertemuan dalam tiga siklus. Subjek penelitian siswa kelas IX SMPN 5 Sumedang sebanyak 3 kelas. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah instrumen tes dan non tes. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa: Pembelajaran model ASSURE dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan pemecahan masalah serta self confidence siswa pada KAM berkategori tinggi dan rendah. PMI model ASSURE dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan pemecahan masalah serta self confidence siswa KAM tinggi dan rendah. Adanya perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan pemecahan masalah antara siswa yang mendapat pembelajaran model ASSURE, pembelajaran PMI model ASSURE dan pembelajaran Konvensional. Terdapat peningkatan self confidence siswa antara siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran model ASSURE dan PMI model ASSURE, dan pembelajaran konvensional. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis kemampuan penalaran siswa yang menggunakan Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan Konvensional ditinjau dari motivasi belajar siswa. Selain itu dianalisis korelasi antara kemampuan penalaran dan motivasi belajar siswa yang menggunakan PBL. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian campuran tipe embedded design. Sampel penelitian ini 70 siswa kelas X yang berasal dari dua kelas dengan masing-masing sebanyak 35 siswa pada salah satu Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri di Bandung. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah soal tes kemampuan penalaran dan angket motivasi belajar siswa, serta lembar observasi. Analisis data dilakukan secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. The type of research used is evaluative research. Data collection techniques using documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative using the Microsoft Excel program. The research method used in this research is the Mix Method Embedded Type (Embedded Design). The sample of this study was class XII MIPA from one of the high schools in West Bandung Regency with 42 students in the experimental class and the control class as research subjects. The instruments in this study consisted of tests in the form of a description of communication skills, and non-tests in the form of questionnaires, observations, and interviews of student learning independence. This research is quantitative research with quantitative descriptive research design. The stages of this quantitative research are conducting initial observations about students' initial mathematical abilities, constructing instruments, validating instruments, conducting research and distributing questionnaires via google form, and analyzing research results descriptively. The place of this research was carried out in one of the Bandung City Vocational Schools. There are five majors studied, namely the Department of Finance and Accounting, Automotive, Hospitality, ICT1 and ICT2. The research subjects were taken purposively from each department. The data collection technique is using a questionnaire distributed via google form. The results showed that the overall self-confidence ability of students with E-learning-based mathematics learning had a percentage of 57% which was in the moderate category so that all students had sufficient self-confidence in learning mathematics during the covid-19 pandemic.
