The object of our research is the reactions of the formation of the celsian phase with the participation of glass components of eutectic compositions of the BaO–Al2O3–SiO2 system under low-temperature firing conditions. In this case, thermodynamic analysis was used as a tool to assess the probability of chemical reactions. This paper reports the results of theoretical and experimental studies into the features of the course of chemical reactions with the participation of glass components of eutectic compositions of the BaO–Al2O3–SiO2 system. It was revealed that once the stoichiometric ratio is maintained, the final product of the interaction between the components of eutectic glasses E-4, E-5 and E-6 with crystalline fillers is the celsian phase. The most probable is the formation of celsian when the components of eutectic glasses interact with Al2O32SiO2, which is a product of kaolinite (Al2O32SiO22H2O) dehydration. It was found that barium orthosilicate, in comparison with other barium silicates, exhibits the highest activity when interacting with charging components in the direction of formation of the сelsian phase already at the temperature of 7500С. At the temperature of 9000C, such a composition is noted to have an active transition of hexagonal celsian to monoclinic celsian. As a result, the content of monoclinic celsian increases significantly. The determined patterns allow making a reasonable choice of glasses in the BaO–Al2O3–SiO2 system with the lowest melting temperatures for the subsequent production of low-temperature сelsian ceramics.","PeriodicalId":23684,"journal":{"name":"Voprosy Khimii i Khimicheskoi Tekhnologii","volume":"83 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"81277068","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aging of bitumen with a thickness of 2 mm has been conducted under laboratory conditions at a temperature of 1630C for 5 and 10 h. Two types of bitumen, oxidized bitumen BND 60/90 and distillation bitumen BD 130/200, have been examined. It has been found that the bitumen quality worsens due to the technological process of aging, e.g. the bitumen hardness and refractoriness increase whereas the elasticity and frost resistance decrease. It has also been shown that, because of the technological process of aging, the content of resins in the bitumen decreases, the content of asphaltenes increases, and the content of oil components does not change significantly. The structural type of the oxidized bitumen changes thereat from a \"sol–gel\" type to a \"gel\" type. For the distillation bitumen, the structural type does not change. The derivatographic analysis has revealed that the bitumen thermal stability increases due to the technological process of aging. The reason for this is a decrease in the content of paraffinic ingredients in the bitumen along with the bitumen structure compaction due to the aging.","PeriodicalId":23684,"journal":{"name":"Voprosy Khimii i Khimicheskoi Tekhnologii","volume":"5 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"87371844","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The purpose of the conducted work is the synthesis of new nitrification inhibitors based on complex copper compounds followed with subsequent studies of their structure, properties and biological activity. Four compounds of different compositions were obtained. A number of physical and chemical properties of substances were established: thermal behavior, and solubility in the KAS-28 system (a saturated solution of urea and ammonium nitrate with a nitrogen content of 28%)–water. With the help of infrared spectroscopy, the presence of functional groups and bonds inherent in ligands was proven in the synthesized compounds. Possible ways of coordination of 4-amino-1,2,4-triazole (monodentately through the atom N1 or N2) and dicyandiamide (through the group C=NH or CN with equal probability) were proposed. The content of Cu2+ ions in the synthesized compounds was determined by iodometry. The biological activity of the synthesized substances in relation to soil bacteria was investigated by the potentiometric method. The dynamics of changes in NH4+ and NO3– ions in research samples containing the obtained substances and commonly used nitrification inhibitors (ATC and DCD) was established. All results were equated relative to the control. It was established that the substance with the probable empirical formula [Cu(ATC)2(DCD)1(H2O)1]SO4 had the highest biological activity.","PeriodicalId":23684,"journal":{"name":"Voprosy Khimii i Khimicheskoi Tekhnologii","volume":"52 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86164525","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this case, -diketone was added to the system by conventional (simultaneous) and compensatory (equal portions at conversions of 0, 5, and 10%) methods. The resulting products were studied by IR and 1H NMR spectroscopies. It has been shown that macrochelates obtained on the basis of such ligands differ in their structure and as a consequence in their macroinitiating ability in the grafting of vinyl monomers. Polymeric ligands synthesized at the ratio of 1:10, regardless of the preparation method, form mixed-ligand complexes in the subsequent complexation reaction with cobalt(II) acetate, which exhibit weak activity in styrene grafting and are not effective in the case of methyl methacrylate. The use of a small amount of MHD (1:30) in combination with the compensatory synthesis method leads to the predominant formation of intramolecular complexes of the -diketonate type, which are more active macroinitiators in the graft polymerization of styrene and methyl methacrylate than those obtained by the traditional simultaneous method of adding MHD.","PeriodicalId":23684,"journal":{"name":"Voprosy Khimii i Khimicheskoi Tekhnologii","volume":"23 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"81008589","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Both dyes in solution have a purple color with high extinction coefficients, but due to the different size of the partially saturated cycle, the first one displays fluorescence, and the second one does not. The fluorescence quantum yields for N'-(4-formyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-benzo[b]xanthen-12-yl)-N,N-dimethylimidoformamide decrease with decreasing solvent polarity. For example, the highest emission quantum yield is observed in methanol (2.76%), while the smallest is observed in tetrahydrofuran (1.04%). It has been shown that the reaction of named anhydrides with 1,4-NCCN-binucleophiles leads to the formation of the imidazole fragment that contains carboxyl-containing moiety. It has been shown that benzimidazole derivatives are among the most studied products of reaction between 1,4-NCCN- and cyclic anhydrides of dicarboxylic acids due to the high availability of initial compounds. The approaches to chemical modification of latter compounds have been discussed as well. It has been found out that 1,4-NNCN-binucleophiles used in reactions with cyclic anhydrides of dicarboxylic acids are mostly presented by amidines and amidrazones. The effects of structures of initial compounds and conditions of reactions on the products of reaction have been described. Literature data shows that the reaction of 1,5-NCCCN-binucleophiles such as amides and hydrazides of anthranilic acid, diamino-substituted polycyclic arenes and 2-azaheterylanilines with cyclic anhydrides of dicarboxylic acids commonly results in the formation of pyrimidine derivatives. It has been established that the application of cyclic anhydrides of non-symmetric dicarboxylic acid as reagents may cause the ambiguity of the reaction pathways. However, the formation of single products of interaction between binucleophiles and non-symmetric anhydrides can be achieved by variation of reaction conditions. The biological activity of the discussed reaction products has been considered in detail. It has been shown that the above-mentioned compounds reveal antibacterial, antifungal, anticancer, immunomodulate, and antidiabetic activities.","PeriodicalId":23684,"journal":{"name":"Voprosy Khimii i Khimicheskoi Tekhnologii","volume":"45 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"73563999","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Pyrazolo[1,5-a][1,3,5]triazines with various substituents in the fourth position and a dichloromethyl group in the second position were obtained by the heterocyclization reaction of available N-(2,2-dichloro-1-cyanoethenyl)carboxamides and 5-aminopyrazoles. Oxazolo[4,5-d]pyrimidines were obtained by treating 2-phenyl-4-dichloromethylene-1,3-oxazol-5(4H)-one with the corresponding arylamidine hydrochloride in the presence of triethylamine. The resulting 4,5-dihydro-1H-imidazol-5(4)-ones undergo recyclization with subsequent cyclocondensation to the corresponding oxazolo[4,5-d]pyrimidin-7-ones when heated in pyridine. Oxazolo[4,5-d]pyrimidines with a labile chlorine atom in position 7, whose substitution with various amines leads to 7-aminoderivatives of oxazolo[4,5-d]pyrimidine, were obtained by heating the latter in phosphorus (V) oxychloride in the presence of N,N-dimethylaniline. It was established that as a result of halocyclization of the model 2-cinnamylthiobenzothiazole with an excess of halogen, the thiazine ring is annealed with the formation of 3-halogeno-4-phenyl-3,4-dihydro-2H-[1,3]thiazino[2,3-b][1,3 ]benzothiazolium tribromide trihalides, which are effectively dehalogenated with acetone or sodium sulfite to form monohalides. Halocyclization of cinnamyl thioether of benzothiazole with iodine bromide in chloroform isolated 3-iodo-4-phenyl-3,4-dihydro-2H-[1,3]thiazino[2,3-b][1,3]benzothiazolium bromide, which was converted into 3-iodo-4-phenyl-3,4-dihydro-2H-[1,3]thiazino[2,3-b][1,3]benzothiazolium iodide by ion exchange reaction under the action of potassium iodide in acetone. The corresponding perchlorate was synthesized by the action of sodium perchlorate in methanol on 3-bromo-4-phenyl-3,4-dihydro-2H-[1,3]thiazino[2,3-b][1,3]benzothiazolium bromide. Spectral characteristics (1H NMR) of trihalides, monohalides and perchlorate indicate the preservation of the structure of the thiazinobenzothiazolium cation during ion exchange reactions. Tellurium-induced cyclization of cinnamyl thioether of benzothiazole does not occur. When 2-cinnamylthiobenzothiazole is treated with tellurium dioxide in an excess of halide acid, the nitrogen of the benzothiazole cycle is protonated and aquacomplexes of benzothiazolinium hexahalogenotellurates are formed. Instead, the action of p-alkoxyphenyltellurttrichloride on cinnamyl thioether benzothiazole leads to the formation of molecular complexes in the ratio of thioether:electrophile of 2:1.
