Since construction sites are often located at a short distance from existing residential buildings, it will be ineffective to install only a conventional noise barrier - walls. In this regard, we have developed a classification of shielding noise protection structures for construction sites, the complex application of which will make it possible to achieve standard noise levels in the adjacent residential area. The article presents the efficiency calculation and designs of two screens (perimeter and intra-sectoral) of five indicated in classification types.","PeriodicalId":23663,"journal":{"name":"Volume!","volume":"11 1","pages":"267"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"74228169","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As never before, environmental sound levels were reduced as a result of the quarantine, as the authorities ordered people to remain confined in their homes in order to reduce and prevent the SARS-CoV-2 transmission. Cities became silent and in some cases birds and wildlife \"took over\" this situation. This change in the soundscape led to sounds that were previously masked, now being heard, i.e. HVAC and other noises. This article presents the case of Lima, Peru, in which the impact and annoyance produced by aircrafts overflights are analyzed (during 2020);as well as the healthy soundscape levels achieved `thanks' to the commercial lockdown and leisure activities.","PeriodicalId":23663,"journal":{"name":"Volume!","volume":"19 1","pages":"48-55"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79037966","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A numerical-analytical method is used to solve the problem. The numerical part of the method is based on the application of the idea of the finite difference method. Numerical simulation was performed using the computational\u0000fluid dynamics software ANSYS Fluent. Several spatial orientations of the cylinder were considered for the generation of dipoles with different directions. Simulation of a simplified two-microphone azimuthal decomposition technique (ADT) is performed to determine the sound pressure level of the generated dipoles at a vortex shedding frequency of 1450 Hz. A procedure of localization of the noise of the flow around a virtual cylinder was performed using monopole and dipole beamforming algorithms. It was found that the numerical simulation results are in good agreement with the data obtained by other researchers, both in terms of the sound pressure level and the results of the localization of dipoles in space.","PeriodicalId":23663,"journal":{"name":"Volume!","volume":"68 1","pages":"76"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"73098103","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is suggested to use strain gauge spectrum analysis. For studying it an experimental installation is designed and created. This installation allows getting signal from strain gauge sensors with maximum frequency 12.87 kHz. According to experimental study application of strain gauge spectrum analysis can provide almost the same information as vibration spectrum analysis. Combination of these two spectrums\u0000can give more useful information. Particularly it can be used for filtering noise. In the experimental study spectrums were significantly cleared without any instrumental and digital filters, it was done only by analysis of combination of the spectrums.
