So to overcome these problems, a guidebook is needed. This study aims to develop a product in the form of a guidebook, validate the content of the guidebook, and measure the effectiveness of the self-regulated learning technique of cognitive behavior counseling guidebooks to reduce the academic procrastination behavior of SMK students. The procedure in this development research uses the 4D development procedure. In this study, three guidance counseling lecturers were involved as experts, and two guidance counseling teachers as practitioners with the task of assessing the usefulness, feasibility, and accuracy of the manual. Seven vocational students were used as subjects in a limited trial to assess the effectiveness of the guidebook. The analysis of the results of the limited trial was carried out using a t-test calculation. Data collection in the study was carried out using the questionnaire method with research instruments in the form of media validity and effectiveness test sheets. The results obtained were then analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that the developed guidebook has a score (CVI=0.69) in the appropriate category, and the developed guidebook effectively reduces students' academic procrastination behavior by obtaining a Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.002 < α = 0.05. The results of this study have implications for guidance and counseling services in schools.","PeriodicalId":236383,"journal":{"name":"Bisma The Journal of Counseling","volume":"37 3","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131716607","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This dual role is difficult because it provides many challenges and requires good psychological resilience. Therefore, this study aims to determine the relationship between resilience and academic procrastination in students who study while working. This research belongs to the quantitative research with the Karl Pearson correlation design. The subjects involved in this study were 205 working students aged 17-25 and were selected using a non-probability snowball sampling technique. Data collection in the study was carried out using a psychological scale as a questionnaire, which will be distributed online via Google Forms. The data obtained in the study were then analyzed using the product moment correlational analysis technique from Karl Pearson to determine the relationship between resilience and academic procrastination. The data analysis process was carried out with the help of the IBM SPSS Statistics 21 for Windows program. Broken home adolescents have to go through very difficult and meaningful times. Psychologically broken home adolescents are faced with forming a strong mentality and, as much as possible, interpreting every heavy life event into a meaningful life. This study aims to determine the relationship between resilience and the meaningfulness of life of broken home adolescents. The method used is quantitative with a Spearman rho correlation design. One hundred thirty-five late adolescents aged 18-22 who were in broken homes were used as research participants using an incidental sampling technique. Research measurements used the Resilience Quotient Test (α = 0.874) and the Meaning in Life Questionnaire (α = 0.936). The results prove that resilience is positively and significantly related to the meaning of life of broken home adolescents (r = 0.304 with sig. = 0.000). Resilience contributes 9.2% to the meaningfulness of life. Applying good resilience can help increase the meaningfulness of broken-home adolescents' lives. Future research is expected to design a psychological assistance program according to the broken-home category, to facilitate broken-home adolescents to achieve a healthy life holistically.","PeriodicalId":236383,"journal":{"name":"Bisma The Journal of Counseling","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129310578","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Hope correlates with various factors in individuals' development and lives (personal, social, academic, and career), but few aspects related to the pandemic have yet to be revealed, particularly in Indonesia. Therefore, to bridge the gap, this study aims to uncover the hope of the 324 senior high school students who voluntarily participated in this research and came from several provinces and regions in Indonesia. The study used descriptive quantitative methods based on the Hope Scale. The data was provided using a Google form and analyzed using Excel and the JASP 0.16.1.0 software. The results showed that 58.3% of students were in the deficient category. There is a difference in the proportion of hope between males and females based on gender. Furthermore, the Sundanese ethnicity has the lowest hopes of all the ethnic groups. The findings may assist certain parties, such as school counselors, in identifying alternative solutions to help students and emphasizing and paying attention to adolescents for them to develop hope.","PeriodicalId":236383,"journal":{"name":"Bisma The Journal of Counseling","volume":"127 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127567685","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
