At the same time, the number of IoT devices is also growing at an exponential rate. But, many problems arise that need to be solved, including the security, flexibility, and extensibility of the IoT network and its data. To this end, we hope to strengthen the security and flexibility of networking by using the concept of virtual currency. But connecting to the virtual currency network will cause a lot of time consumption and extra costs. To reduce these additional costs, we designed two architectures and analyze them in the experiment at the end.","PeriodicalId":236366,"journal":{"name":"2018 1st International Cognitive Cities Conference (IC3)","volume":"60 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-12-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129713434","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As for the other one, in order to collect data where the network is underdeveloped, the on-board system moves to the region and collect the environmental data. However, the two data collection methods have space constraint. Taking observation on air pollutant as an example, more and more countries reduce the external cost resulted from air pollution actively in recent years. In order to attain this goal, the generation of pollutants must be prevented. Therefore, the pollutant data of 3D space are required for tracing the source of pollutants, only reducing the discharge of toxic substances from the source can improve the air quality. The aforesaid two methods have constraints. In order to attain this goal, this paper uses a quadcopter as aerial vehicle to collect the environmental data at different heights, including temperature, humidity and PM2.5 concentration, which are sent to the database via wireless transmission module, and the data are displayed on visualized webpage. Finally, the relevance analysis is implemented for the data at different heights.","PeriodicalId":236366,"journal":{"name":"2018 1st International Cognitive Cities Conference (IC3)","volume":"4 2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-12-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128304240","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Due to a large amount of SAvgDQ that need to be evaluated concurrently, the centralized processing system would suffer a heavy query load, leading eventually to poor performance. As a result, in this paper we focus on distributed processing of multiple SAvgDQ using MapReduce platform. We first design a grid structure to manage information of objects, and then develop an algorithm, namely the MapReduce-based SAvgDQ algorithm (or MRSAvgDQ algorithm), to efficiently process SAvgDQ in a distributed manner.","PeriodicalId":236366,"journal":{"name":"2018 1st International Cognitive Cities Conference (IC3)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123136644","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is an important issue to find out the contact point between the racks of technology and aesthetics. The paper aims to investigate the state-of-the-art of aesthetics of the curriculum through document analyzed and involved in the program. Among 3 main aesthetics education website documents examined, one-third of them have included the word Digital Age in the vision curriculum design, mainly found in the area of Visual Aesthetic, but more as rhetorical than other aspects (tool use). The findings include: The main reason for not introducing Art and science are better together than apart; science and technology-related courses require a lot of investment in funds and equipment; teachers should empower for STEAM education and interdisciplinary learning. Taiwan government hopes to enhance national competitiveness through aesthetic education. The ability to coordinate and support each sub-project is still to be improved, just as we need children to have the ability to interdisciplinary integrate. The study explored the differences in motivation and perceptions of students engaged in individual and collaborative learning using Google Slides at the university level. English as a Foreign Language (EFL) students were recruited and assigned into individual and collaborative groups. The results of the study aligned with previous studies in that the collaborators performed better than the individuals in an oral presentation. However, the individual learners were more likely than the collaborators to feel motivated, and to perceive the learning process and experience positively. Nevertheless, the results of this study reveal that by facilitating knowledge construction and peer scaffolding, Google Slides plays a significant role in enhancing students' motivation and willingness to communicate with peers. Students provided positive feedback on working with peers at the same time, especially with regard to the fact that they could instantly see annotations using the Google Slides. It is concluded that embedding technology in the Internet English class helped make the students feel more confident in learning from each other. Pedagogical implications for future studies are provided for English instructors using technology as a supplementary tool to assist students learning.","PeriodicalId":236366,"journal":{"name":"2018 1st International Cognitive Cities Conference (IC3)","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126066168","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A lot of private information about users' physical condition are contained in e-health records, which may bring economic and health loss to users if leaked. Therefore, the information protection is particularly important in e-health record system. Experts and scholars have conducted researches on this field, but the nonrepudiation of existing schemes still can be improved. In this paper, we propose a certificateless signcryption scheme for ehealth record system. Due to the utilization of biometric key, the novel scheme can acheive identity authentication and secure data transmission, while ensuring the security of medical data. Prior studies usually focus on the issue of placing virtual machines that are assumed to be isolated to each other. This paper addresses the problem of deploying virtual machine clusters on the compute pool, in which a virtual machine cluster refers to a set of virtual machines hosting a virtualized distributed system/application. In the case that the virtualized distributed system/application is too large to fit in a single physical machine, the virtual machine cluster has to be partitioned into several subsets and to be placed on several physical machines. Without considering the relationship among VMs in a virtual machine cluster, two VMs that frequently communicate with each other can be placed far away, and consequently lead to poor performance. To this end, we propose a novel placement approach for virtual machine clusters that tries to minimize the Inter-VMs network traffic. The simulation results indicate that the proposed approach consumes the smallest physical network bandwidth while comparing with several existing virtual machine placement algorithms.","PeriodicalId":236366,"journal":{"name":"2018 1st International Cognitive Cities Conference (IC3)","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116020456","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The experiment was carried out by data of Beijing station, and this model was compared with other four models (BP neural network, RBF neural network, Elman neural network and T-S fuzzy neural network). The results showed that PM2.5 forecasted by wavelet neural network was better than other models, the prediction deviation was reduced effectively. The PM2.5 daily average concentration forecasted by wavelet neural network was closest to the observation, the proposed model has comparatively high forecasting accuracies.","PeriodicalId":236366,"journal":{"name":"2018 1st International Cognitive Cities Conference (IC3)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132109364","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
