The research was prepared using a quantitative method approach. Conducted using a research sample of 3rd grade students at Ciputat State Elementary School. The research sample was obtained by random sampling. Data was obtained by collecting it using a questionnaire or questionnaire which was prepared using a technique using a Likert scale. The research results were carried out with descriptive tests, normality tests with Kolmogorov Smirnov linearity tests, multicollinearity tests and heteroscedasticity tests. To determine the influence between variables, a multiple regression test was carried out using the t test with a significance level of 0.05. The research results show that the majority of parents are in the very strong parental role category with a percentage of 52.2%, the majority apply democratic and accepting parenting with a percentage of 87.0% and the majority of student learning outcomes are in the very good category 65.2% . The results of the multiple regression t test showed a significance result of 0.000<0.05 on the variable of the role of parents on student learning outcomes, so it can be seen that the role of parents has an influence on student learning outcomes. Students tend to be passive, tend to chat with their friends, are not able to express opinions and have no desire to ask questions. Meanwhile, the teacher in the learning process only uses the Direct Instruction (Lecture) learning model. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on learning outcomes in the material Energy and its Changes. This research method uses quasi-experimental research. Experimental research is defined as a research method used to find the effect of certain treatments on others under controlled conditions. This research was conducted three times in each class group. Sampling was carried out using a cluster random sampling technique, namely class IIIA (as Experiment Class) and class IIIB (as Control Class) with a total of 40 students. Data collection techniques used test, documentation and observation techniques. Research data was collected using an initial ability test (pretest) and final ability test (posttest). Based on the results of the N-Gain calculation in the experimental class, an average value of 58.03 (medium category) was obtained, which means that the implementation of learning was quite effective. Meanwhile, in the control class, an average score of 49.93 (medium category) was obtained, which means learning was quite effective. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the problem based learning model has an influence on learning outcomes regarding Energy and its Changes. This is shown by the value of tcount = 0.0339 while ttable = 0.05 with db 40. Thus it is known that tcount <ttable, namely 0.0339 <0.05, which means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Kurangnya buku dan perpustakaan yang tidak berfungsi dengan baik dikelas IV SDN Karang tengah 8 menyebabkan rendahnya minat baca siswa dan berdampak pada hasil belajar mereka. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, guru perlu melakukan dorongan kepada siswa saat mengajar, menyediakan lebih banyak buku di pojok baca kelas dan membiasakan siswa dengan literasi 10-15 menit sebelum pelajaran dimulai. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi untuk mengumpulkan data pada guru kelas IV SDN Karang Tengah 8. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa tidak ingin melakukan kegiatan membaca. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh observasi yang menunjukkan bahwa kurangnya minatbaca siswa dapat disebabkan oleh pengaruh kemajuan teknologi dan lingkungan, baik di rumah maupun di sekolah yang kurang mendukung aktivitas membaca. Oleh karena itu,untuk meningkatkan minat baca siswa, mereka harus didukung untuk menumbuhkan minat tersebut. This research is a type of research and development using the ADDIE model, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The subject of this research is diorama media on the theme (caring for living creatures) and the object of this research is learning material on the theme (caring for living creatures) to improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade elementary school students. Quantitative data is obtained from the formula used to determine the suitability of media and materials. The data obtained is used as a reference for making revisions to the products being developed. Based on the calculations above, the results of the overall assessment of the material experts reached the instrument used to collect data, namely a questionnaire. The results of media validation for the theme learning diorama (caring for living creatures) were media expert validation obtained 82% with the criteria being very suitable for use and suitable for development in learning the themes of caring for living creatures sub theme 1 very feasible, material expert validation obtained a score of 80% with the criteria are suitable for use, the teacher's response received a score of 97% with the criteria very suitable for use and the student response received a score of 95% with the criteria very suitable for use. The PBL (Problem Based Learning) mode1 is used with the he1p of LePo media. This research focuses on learning activitiies and learning outcomes. Data was collected through observation sheets, tests, interviews and documentation. The percentage of each indicator is calculated for the technical observation sheet, and the average value is calculated for the performance test. The research resu1ts show that the app1ication of the PBL learning model with the he1p of LePo media increases active learning and learning outcomes. The research results showed that the averrage percentage increase in student activity in the first session data was 82% and increased to 97% in the second session. The average academic score in the first session was 71 and increased to 78 in the second session.
