Determinations were made on the number of tubers/plant, the average weight of a tuber and the production per unit area. Regardless of the planting epoch both the number of tubers/plant and the average weight of a tuber was higher in the plants harvested after 29 weeks after planting. The highest production of tubers was obtained by planting Jerusalem artichoke between April 15-25 and harvested after 29 weeks. In this variant. the production was 66.02 t / ha. corresponding to a number of 45.9 tubers / plant. with an average weight of 47.8 g / tuber.","PeriodicalId":234572,"journal":{"name":"\"Annals of the University of Craiova - Agriculture, Montanology,Cadastre Series \"","volume":"81 6","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120863892","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The summary of this work, from 2010 to 2020, shows that the Jidvei wine-growing center is part of the wine-growing zone A1 (Teodorescu Stt., and its collaborators, 1987), which has specific climatic characteristics for the production of only high quality white and aromatic wines, and in very favorable years also red quality wines. The raifall, insolation and temperature are in normal and favorable parameters for viticulture. The values of the heliothermal index (Ihr=1,83), the hydrothermal coefficient (CH=1,41) and the bioclimatic wine index (Ibcv=5,07) show that they are within the optimal values for viticulture in Romania. The index of oenological fitness (IAOe=4220,51) shows that the most favorable conditions for high-quality white and aromatic wines have been achieved in this winegrowing center and that, in some years, favorable average conditions for red quality wines have been achieved. There are enough arguments that define the qualities of climate friendliness and oenological favoritism in the Jidvei wine center.","PeriodicalId":234572,"journal":{"name":"\"Annals of the University of Craiova - Agriculture, Montanology,Cadastre Series \"","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128405664","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Through the statistical analysis of the main quantitative characters, the variety Ișalnița 43 presented a coefficient of variability (s%) small, medium and high for the studied characters. The calculation and analysis of variability showed a medium variability (15.04%) for plant height. low variability (7.77%) for pod length. low variability (6.98%) for pod thickness / width ratio and high variability (30.42%) for the number of pods / plant. Although Jerusalem artichoke is promoted as a crop with low requirements for soil fertility, it reacts very well to both types of mineral fertilization and especially on applied organic fertilizer. In this paper we highlight the main levels of mineral fertilization corelated with plant’s density which show us that in the tested conditions of argic chernozem from ARDS Caracal we obtained the most valuable yields of fresh biomass at variant where we applied N120P120K80 in the conditions of 50 cm between plants/row. At the same time, the new world wine regions specialize in quality production, coming on the market with a varied offer and at a convenient price. The fame of the particularly pleasant characteristics of Romanian wines is given not only by the extremely high value of several local varieties, which have given fame to some wine centers: Fetească alba by Alba Iulia, Grasa by Cotnari, Tămâioasă by Drăgăşani, or by Pietroasele, Busuioacă by Bohotin, Fetească neagră de Nicoreşti, Negru de Dragasani, etc., but also the fact that the most famous foreign varieties, which made famous certain regions and countries (Traminer, Sauvignon, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot), cultivated in Romania wines that have often equaled or surpassed, by their \"generosity\" and finesse, those of the countries of origin. For wine and especially red wine, it is important to establish its typicality and authenticity due to its impact on the large mass of knowledgeable consumers who value quality and safety.","PeriodicalId":234572,"journal":{"name":"\"Annals of the University of Craiova - Agriculture, Montanology,Cadastre Series \"","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126821661","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main research highlights the mechanisms of adaptation of rye culture to climate change, aimed at identifying genotypes that have a good behavior in culture under conditions of abiotic (thermohydric) and biotic stress (pathogens and pests) in order of restoring the production capacity and protection of agroecosystems in the area of sandy soils by promoting in culture some genotypes tolerant to thermohydric stress. In the two experimented years of 2020 and 2021 the obtained results prove the new genotypes promoted on the market had a higher capacity of production than the Control (Suceveana variety), with an average yield of over 4555 kg/ha registered at Serafino genotype in the conditions of a sandy soil with a low natural fertility, poorly supplied with total nitrogen (0.05- 0.07%).
