Therapy depends on severity. While mild cases are managed with topical products, moderate-to-severe cases may require systemic treatments such as antibiotics, isotretinoin, or hormonal contraceptives. Acne can cause scarring, and some types benefit from specialized dermatological treatment. Complex PTSD is a new diagnosis introduced in ICD-11. This diagnosis requires that, in addition to the well-known PTSD symptoms, patients exhibit disturbances in self-organisation, emotional dysregulation, and interpersonal difficulties. The focus on individual development within interpersonal contexts aligns closely with the psychodynamic understanding of pathogenesis, symptomatology, and treatment. An efficient HD treatment and, thus, better survival rely on stable and functional vascular access. Several are available: an arteriovenous fistula, an arteriovenous graft, and a central venous catheter. Any access has several complications, such as infection, stenosis, thrombosis, and high-output cardiac failure. In Denmark, we performed surgery (micro-TESE or subcapsular orchiectomy) in 93 men with KS and obtained testicular sperm in 42% (39). More than ten children are now born, and several couples still have sperm and embryos cryopreserved with the potential to increase the live birth rate further. It can occur as a non-syndromal condition or be associated with craniofacial syndromes and learning difficulties. The condition affects 1 in 1.300-2.500 newborns. Diagnosis involves clinical evaluation and radiological confirmation. Surgery is the primary treatment. Despite relevant non-pharmacological treatment, the addition of premedical treatment may be needed. Traditionally, oral midazolam has been a favourite premedical treatment. However, several alternatives are available. Additionally, simultaneous administration of the medications to achieve synergy may be advantable.
