Comparison of the growth characteristics of the biodegradable container seedlings and the containerized seedlings during one year after planting. 1~6, 2018 Recently, it has become important to reconsider low-cost silviculture for replantation. In this study, we compared the growth characteristics of the biodegradable container seedlings and the containerized seedlings that are increasing production during one year after planting. As a result, it is suggested that the possibility of water stress due to biodegradable container from the result that biodegradable container seedlings greatly decreased T/R ratio after planting. From the comparison result of RGR, it seems that growth difference between the biodegradable container seedlings and the containerized seedlings was likely to be affected by the difference in initial size. Tensile strength of the biodegradable container planted one year was about 20% lower than unused container.
