This study will lead us to understand the proper crown parameter for tree volume estimation. In addition, it might contribute to improve the accuracy of tree volume estimation based on airborne laser scanner(ALS),which can only use crown parameters as the features to estimate the DBH and tree volume. Eight sample trees were cut dawn based on field survey and the tree volume of each trees was calculated by sectional measurement. The crown was reproduced based on the cloud data of TLS and the crown parameters(crown length, max crown width, crown projected area, sunny crown surface area, crown surface area, crown volume(0.3),crown volume(0.1))were 3 closer ALS appropriate ALS","PeriodicalId":234210,"journal":{"name":"Japanese Journal of Forest Planning","volume":"60 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-08-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129926393","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
