In this study using primary data obtained from the distribution of questionnaires to 97 nurses as respondents at Budhi Asih Hospital (Regional General Hospital). This study used descriptive analysis methods and inferential analysis. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression correlation analysis, instrument test, model feasibility test, and t test. The results indicate a positive and significant influence on nurse performance, as evidenced by the regression equation model (Y = 10.790 + 0.204 (X1) + 0.185 (X2)). The model's feasibility test yields a significant value of 0.000, indicating its significance and suitability for the study. In the t-test hypothesis, both discipline (sig = 0.003) and the physical work environment (sig = 0.014) show a positive and significant influence on nurse performance. While the study provides valuable insights, it is important to note the limitations, such as the specific context of Budhi Asih Hospital. Future research could explore these factors in diverse healthcare settings. Understanding the positive impact of discipline and the physical work environment on nurse performance is crucial for healthcare organizations seeking to enhance overall patient care and satisfaction.","PeriodicalId":233749,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Social Service and Research","volume":"106 14","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139786079","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Carbon stock measurement is done by multiplying biomass by a conversion rate of 0.47 (47%) while carbon dioxide (CO2) sequestration is calculated by multiplying the average annual biomass growth by the conversion rate of 1.4667 obtained from the photosynthesis equation and oxygen production is measured based on conversion from carbon yield. Based on the results of the study, it showed that the biomass content of stands in the arboretum was 1,067.32 tons, carbon stocks were 501.64 tons, carbon dioxide (CO2) absorption was 1,565.45 tons, and oxygen production was 1,337.71 tons.","PeriodicalId":233749,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Social Service and Research","volume":"24 9","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139845263","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research is included in quantitative research, where the research instrument uses a questionnaire. Utilizing the \"Multiple Linear Regression\" analysis, the findings reveal nuanced relationships. While education positively correlates with employee performance, the effect is not statistically significant. This non-significant result should be interpreted with caution, emphasizing the need for further exploration and nuanced consideration of the role of education in enhancing performance. Conversely, training exhibits a positive and statistically significant impact on performance, emphasizing its crucial role in bolstering employee effectiveness. Furthermore, individual characteristics have a positive and statistically significant influence on performance. It is essential to convey that the positive effect of education should not be dismissed due to its non-significant nature; rather, it prompts a deeper examination of the intricate dynamics between education and performance. This research underscores the importance of understanding these factors in the context of state administration institutions, providing valuable insights for optimizing the contributions of civil servants and enhancing overall institutional effectiveness.","PeriodicalId":233749,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Social Service and Research","volume":"6 5","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139803738","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Primary data is collected through closed questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents, and the analysis is conducted using the Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) program version 23.0. The findings reveal a notable contradiction in the impact of motivation (X1), which exhibits a negative and significant effect, contrary to initial expectations. On the other hand, Work Environment (X2) and Work Discipline (X3) demonstrate positive and significant effects on the dependent variable, namely employee performance. The unexpected result regarding motivation prompts the need for further investigation and clarification.
