This study aimed to design and implement appropriate tools for the rapid assessment of physicians' documentation in the emergency department. Methods: The present study was a cross-sectional study. First, a comprehensive review of resources was done in Google Scholar, PubMed, Web of Science, Scopus, Iran doc, and SID until 2021. Physician documentation indicators were provided to health information management specialists, emergency medicine specialists, forensic specialists, and the head of the HIM department in hospitals. Intra-class correlation coefficient (ICC) was used to evaluate face and content validity for instrument reliability. Then, the proposed tool randomly selected and reviewed 230 medical records of Imam Reza (AS) Hospital in Mashhad. Data were analyzed using SPSS 21 software. Results: First, a tool with 26 indicators was developed. Intra-class correlation coefficient (ICC) was obtained from the test of 30 medical records 0.980, which was acceptable. Seventeen indicators had scores higher than 0.79, 0.714, and 3.55 and CVR and face validity, including signature, date and time, diagnoses and procedures, correction of errors. The assessment results of 230 medical records showed a relatively good state of documentation of emergency physicians. Conclusion: The proposed tool allows the rapid assessments of the key index in the documentation of physicians in the emergency department and has high validity and reliability, so it is recommended to be used in the emergency department.","PeriodicalId":231482,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Modern Medical Information Sciences","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123230572","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aim of this study was to evaluate the level of management maturity and knowledge of Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences and its effect on performance excellence. Methods: The research method is a survey, and its type is applied. The study population included managers and staff of Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences. The research was conducted in 2021. Sampling was simple stratified random sampling. The sample size was 320 people. The data collection tool was the standard questionnaire of the Asian Productivity Organization (reliability coefficient of the questionnaire: 0.83). The questionnaire consisted of seven main criteria and 46 questions. The statistical software used was SPSS version 26. ANOVA, t-test, and simple linear regression analyzed the data and tested the hypotheses. Results : The research showed that the university was at the level of development of knowledge management maturity with a score of 141.16. The regression results showed that the knowledge processes index with a value of 0.69 had the highest effect, and the staff index with a value of 0.67 had the lowest effect on knowledge management maturity. The value of t-statistic was significant for indicators of knowledge maturity (technology, knowledge processes, leadership, process, learning and innovation, and knowledge management results) except employees at the level of less than 0.05. Conclusion : The results of data analysis proved the relationship between the Asian Productivity Organization knowledge management maturity model and performance improvement. Therefore, the mentioned model can be relied on, and the results can be generalized to the university.","PeriodicalId":231482,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Modern Medical Information Sciences","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127735174","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The sample consisted of 344 students of management and medical information sciences of Shiraz University of Medical Sciences in 2021. They were selected by stratified-randomly sampling. The data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire, including 26 questions and 6 factors. Data were analyzed by PLS software and path analysis test. Results: The results showed that facilitating condition has a direct effect on perceived ease of use (0.724) and perceived usefulness (0.580) and with path coefficient (0.328) through the mediating variable of perceived ease of use on perceived usefulness has an indirect and significant effect. In addition, the Perceived ease of use and Perceived Usefulness had a significant effect on students' attitudes of 43% and 44%, respectively. It was also found that by creating a positive attitude in students, 67% will lead to Behavioral Intention and then 80% to acceptance E-Learning by students of the University of Medical Sciences in Corona Crisis. Methods: The present study is a quasi-experimental with pre-test-post-test design with a control group. The statistical population was women with heart disease in Khoramabad in 2021. Forty-five people were selected through the convenience sampling method and randomly assigned to two experimental groups and one control group. Ten separate 90-minute sessions were held for both treatment groups, and no training control group was applied. The research instruments were the Self-Compassion Scale of Neff with 26 questions and the Emotional Self-Regulation Scale of Larsen and Mike with ten questions. SPSS software and multivariate analysis of covariance were used to analyze the data . Results: Combining acceptance-commitment therapy with self-compassion training and emotion-driven cognitive-behavioral therapy improves self-compassion and emotional self-regulation in women with cardiovascular disease (P-Value> 0.05), and their recovery rate is higher than the control group (P-Value> 0.05). However, the two experimental groups were not significantly different (P-Value> 0.0). Conclusion: Combining acceptance-commitment therapy with self-compassion training and emotion-driven cognitive-behavioral therapy increase awareness of emotions and controls the level of emotions and self-compassion in women with heart disease. Methods: This descriptive-correlational study examined the barriers to establishing TQM in Kerman hospitals, 2019-2020. 377 managers and experts, medical, administrative, and financial staff of the hospitals were selected by available sampling. The data was collected by barriers to implementing the TQM questionnaire and analyzed by descriptive (frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation) and inferential statistics (Analysis of variance) and SPSS software version 20. Results: Most of the subjects were women (67.3%). The mean of total barriers to implementation of TQM in hospitals was 3.94±1.38. The highest mean was related to cultural barriers and staff (4.42±1.16). There was a significant relationship between cultural barriers and staff, barriers related to infrastructure, and managerial barriers with the realization of TQM with more than 99% confidence. The standardized value of the impact of the organizational dimension on the cultural barriers and staff was 0.19, organizational barriers on the barriers related to infrastructure were 0.51, organizational barriers on the managerial barriers were 0.30. These correlations were significant. There was a significant relationship between cultural and staff barriers, infrastructure barriers, and managerial barriers. Conclusion: This study showed that the most significant barriers to establishing TQM in Kerman hospitals were cultural barriers and staff.
