However, GFDM suffers from a high PAPR reduction, which decreases GFDM system's performance. In this work, we propose novel hybrid technique for PAPR reduction based on Simplified Selective Mapping (SLM) and Zadoff-Chu Transform (ZCT). The simulations results show that our proposed technique outperforms the conventional SLM and ZCT techniques with about 53.52% in the improvement of the PAPR reduction.","PeriodicalId":228989,"journal":{"name":"2023 3rd International Conference on Innovative Research in Applied Science, Engineering and Technology (IRASET)","volume":"70 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131556069","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Early detection and treatment of polyps can prevent the development of colon cancer. To assist with this, Computed Tomography (CT) scans are used to produce three-dimensional images of the interior of the colon. Deep Learning techniques, such as Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), have the potential to provide valuable support to radiologists in the early detection of colon polyps. In this study, we developed and trained three Deep Learning models, VGG16, VGG19, and 3DCNN15, from scratch to classify CT scans based on the presence or absence of colon polyps. The dataset used for this study was a CT colonography dataset, which consisted of 3D images of the colon's interior. The proposed system was evaluated using a confusion matrix and four evaluation metrics: accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 score. Our findings suggest that while the models can assist radiologists in classifying polyps in 3D scans with an accuracy of 76.7%, there is room for improvement.","PeriodicalId":228989,"journal":{"name":"2023 3rd International Conference on Innovative Research in Applied Science, Engineering and Technology (IRASET)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131286712","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Precision agriculture explores data from an Internet of Things (IoT) platform, satellites, or Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) to make the right decisions at the right time to optimize yields and reduce the environmental footprint. More recently, remote sensing has undergone a remarkable evolution, especially with the miniaturization of electronic components; this acquisition of information occurs by measuring the electromagnetic spectrum in the visible and invisible to the eye. For the analysis of remote sensing measurements, the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) is the most commonly used index to assess the vegetation of the observed target. It is calculated from red and near-infrared reflectance. This study presents a systematic review of works using NDVI to contribute to precision agriculture.","PeriodicalId":228989,"journal":{"name":"2023 3rd International Conference on Innovative Research in Applied Science, Engineering and Technology (IRASET)","volume":"207 S638","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"113972612","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Moreover, it allows us to better understand the company's flows, either to help in decision-making or to improve its Manufacturing Planning. In the context of Supply Chain Management 4.0 (SCM 4.0), we have chosen modeling tools that allow us to describe the main processes of the Supply Chain (SC), in order to define the needs in terms of performance evaluation, taking into account the static and dynamic specificities linked to the uncertainty of the environment and the digitalization. In fact, the static model describes structural characteristics whereas the dynamic model describes dynamic behavior. The modeling improvement process requires static and dynamic sub-models developed from identical concepts and whose coherence is ensured by interactions between the two models. In our research work, we propose a Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) used to convert the natural language of SC processes into process diagrams with graphical elements. We use tasks and sub-processes are used to depict basic SC plans and functions. Sequence flows to connect activities and present the transitions and path of tasks and plans. We also use Gateways to control the convergence and divergence of paths in SC process diagrams. Message flows display information flows and material flows between SC entities as needed. Thus, we develop a static and dynamic model that represents the SC using a generic modeling approach based on Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) and BPMN.","PeriodicalId":228989,"journal":{"name":"2023 3rd International Conference on Innovative Research in Applied Science, Engineering and Technology (IRASET)","volume":"57 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114888599","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The material CH3NH3SnI3, commonly known as perovskite, exhibits intriguing properties that make it a promising candidate for various optoelectronic applications. Through the application of density functional theory (DFT), we have investigated the electronic and optical characteristics of pure and bromine-doped CH3NH3SnI3 perovskite in our research article. The evaluation of various physical properties, such as band structures, the total density of states (TDOS), absorption coefficient, extinction coefficient, and refractive index, was carried out utilizing the Cambridge Serial Total Energy Package CASTEP code, as a computational tool. The band gap analysis shows that both CH3NH3SnI3 pure and doped with bromine (Br) are semiconductors. The calculated absorption coefficient of CH3NH3SnI3 pure indicates its absorption peak at 340.53 nm. It can be concluded that the CH3NH3SnI3 system is useful for converting solar radiations into electricity and making it suitable for use as an absorber of visible light. The obtained results demonstrate a noteworthy congruence with previous experimental studies focused on the optoelectronic characteristics of the CH3NH3SnI3 material.","PeriodicalId":228989,"journal":{"name":"2023 3rd International Conference on Innovative Research in Applied Science, Engineering and Technology (IRASET)","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125544078","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With a higher risk of deterioration or disappearance of manufacturing companies than usual. As a result, manufacturers must face this situation by adopting strong strategies, including equipment management and cost optimization in connection. This is why predictive maintenance is an important pillar in achieving these objectives. Except that predictive maintenance requires a budget and time for the proper implementation, such investment can only be accepted by investors if it is sure that the expected results will contribute effectively to the reduction of maintenance costs. To do this, it is necessary to assess the risks that could impact this project's success, mainly the data reliability and the machine learning model performance. The aptitude to predict the need for maintenance of a system in a perfect way at a specific time is one of the main challenges in this scope. This paper proposes a methodology for data management in the case of predictive maintenance project implementation. It starts by introducing the project study phase for cost & benefit evaluation based on data-driven. Then it presents the predictive concept based on data mining & machine learning tools for optimal model building, as well for the project performance follow up a monitoring approach is proposed based on the continuous improvement concept.","PeriodicalId":228989,"journal":{"name":"2023 3rd International Conference on Innovative Research in Applied Science, Engineering and Technology (IRASET)","volume":"74 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127148567","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

From this analysis, we propose a numerical modeling of the disc which is based on relevant hypotheses. This modeling uses the finite element method which makes it possible to first solve the problem of heat transfer, due to the friction of the pads on the disc. Then in a second step to solve the mechanical problem, due on the one hand to the forces applied by pressure of the pads on the disc and on the other hand to the inertial forces applied to this disc. In 2022, the cost of pumping diesel and gasoline—the two fuels most commonly used to power automotive engines—rose to all-time highs, particularly for importers like Morocco, which is dependent on Russian energy supply. As a result, Morocco's inflation rate increased to 8.25% as people worried about whether or not oil prices would continue to soar. In order to provide an answer, this paper uses autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA) to forecast diesel and gasoline prices for the next eight years based on average yearly price values from 1991 to 2022. A MATLAB script is developed to compare the available models; the one with the lowest mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) will be the best for making predictions. Based on the results, the ARIMA models with parameters (3, 1, 2) and (4, 1, 0) are suggested for predicting annual diesel and gasoline prices. Diesel prices look like they'll be staying within a narrow range of $1.1 and $1.45 until 2030. However, gasoline prices are expected to increase and reach a peak of $1.56 per liter in 2030.","PeriodicalId":228989,"journal":{"name":"2023 3rd International Conference on Innovative Research in Applied Science, Engineering and Technology (IRASET)","volume":"150 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134331025","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
