This model is nonlinear, multivariable and unstable. The adaptive controller presented in this paper consists of a local linearization method, an adaptive switching law and a nonlinear feedback control law. Furthermore, a theorem is obtained that the closed-loop system under the adaptive switching control is stable.","PeriodicalId":227938,"journal":{"name":"2010 Chinese Control and Decision Conference","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-05-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115242547","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The filter to be designed is assumed to be mode-dependent. Firstly, with the help of the Finsler's Lemma, two sets of slack variables with special structure are introduced to provide an improved mode-dependent H∞ filters design method with extra degrees of freedom. Then, with making use of the relationship of the known part of the TPs and the unknown part of the TPs sufficiently, a new simple design method is presented with less conservativeness. The resulting designs guarantee that the error system is stochastically stable with prescribed H∞ performance. A numerical example is given to illustrate the superiority and the effectiveness of the proposed filtering method.","PeriodicalId":227938,"journal":{"name":"2010 Chinese Control and Decision Conference","volume":"50 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-05-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115618507","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The proposed approach is based on the fact that lateral force is formed in a plane which is perpendicular to the reentry vehicle velocity. Particularly, the nominal impact point is defined as the impact point generated by zero lift trajectory. The virtual displacement is defined as the tiny change of the nominal impact point, which is caused by any instantaneous lateral force at the beginning of the trajectory. The optimal direction of the lateral force is obtained by the solution of optimal virtual displacement, in which the optimal virtual displacement should point to the target. The analytical solution of reentry trajectory and the linear quadratic gauss (LQG) method are used to design this guidance law. The decision-maker needs to consider many factors whatever they are in same domain or not. Influence diagram (ID) is an effective tool to help people make a strategic decision. In a large influence diagram, the high-level decision-maker doesn't need to know the details, and he only needs to know the overall effects of the decisions made in each domain. Starting from this real application, it is necessary to aggregate the nodes in a domain into one block in an influence diagram. In this paper, we are to discuss the aggregation of nodes in influence diagrams. In order to aggregate nodes, we have to partition the influence diagram into blocks first. Each block is composed of nodes which contact each other strongly and contact other nodes loosely. Since the influence diagram has different types of nodes, we have to partition these types of nodes respectively. Based on the relationships among nodes, we aggregate each block into a new node. Further, we combine the blocks with different types of nodes and get a new influence diagram. Preliminary experiments show the feasibility of our proposed methods.","PeriodicalId":227938,"journal":{"name":"2010 Chinese Control and Decision Conference","volume":"48 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-05-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127503849","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In addition, the calculation of performance indices should be suitable for the case of variable sampling interval. Here the state estimate of each track is projected into measurement space and the statistical distance between this projection and each simultaneous measurement is calculated. Hence the signal origin of that track can be determined via the rule of Nearest Neighbor. Based on the relationship matrix with respect to track and signal origin, a new method to calculate a suit of performance indices for both TAS and TWS modes is proposed. This method has been adopted in our TrackEnviro — a evaluation system for the multiple-target tracking performance of real phased array radar.","PeriodicalId":227938,"journal":{"name":"2010 Chinese Control and Decision Conference","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-05-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124911176","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
