Hydration products of the pastes at different ages are investigated by XRD. The results show that compared with the calcium hydroxide, gypsum and sodium sulfate can excite the activation of steel slag more effectively. When amount of gypsum is 1.5%, the 3d strength increases to 1.2MPa, 7d strength increases to 3.3MPa, 28d strength increases to 5.0MPa. Ca 2+ and SO4 2- are provided by gypsum, SiO2, Fe2O3 and Al2O3 in steel slag act with Ca(OH)2, hydration products such as hydrated calcium silicate, are generated in the paste. Enhancement of early strength may be attributed to rapidly consumption of Al2O3 in steel slag and Ca(OH)2. When amount of Na2SO4 is 1.5%, the 3d strength increases to 5.1MPa, 7d strength increases to 6.5MPa, 28d strength increases to 15.5MPa. XRD patterns show that the main products are consist of hydrated calcium silicate, Aft and calcium hydroxide. These products are bonded together, fill the void of paste, so the density increased, and higher strength are obtained.","PeriodicalId":22791,"journal":{"name":"The Open Materials Science Journal","volume":"41 1","pages":"135-138"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-09-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89828848","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Hence this article derives the yield function on isotropic metals included one to six-order plastic tensor, expanded of the general yield function in its Taylor. As well, the plastic tensors are analyzed by traceless, totally symmetric and objectivity in this article. And the yield function for isotropic metals can be degenerated to the one for identical and different property on tension-compression yield. Finally, by means of the results of Lode test, it is proved that this yield function is very suitable in the metal materials, which had the identical and different property for tension- compression yield. And there are 2 material parameters in this yield function, hence, the form is simple and had higher value in engineering.","PeriodicalId":22791,"journal":{"name":"The Open Materials Science Journal","volume":"9 1","pages":"119-123"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-09-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"88883266","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The storage failure of two-state materials tends to fail immediately without any recognizable defeats prior to the failure, which increases the difficulty of forecasting, so the combination forecasting model is often used to optimize the prediction effect. The core ideas of previous combination forecasting models such as those based on forecasting error and those based on nonlinear weighted average are finding the optimal weights, but the structure of forecasting model is fixed. In this paper, three single forecasting models, Weibull distribution statistic method, BP neural network prediction method and SPFM (Sliding Polynomial Fitting Method) are chosen in which their forecast mechanisms are completely different. The results of single forecasting methods are used as training set of SVM. By using libsvm toolbox, we can get the nonlinear mapping functions that have the minimum structure risk. At last, a simulation is conducted to verify this model by using the data from Petroleum Center.","PeriodicalId":22791,"journal":{"name":"The Open Materials Science Journal","volume":"453 1","pages":"124-129"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-09-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"72984604","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The influence of the shape of the taper thread mixing head on microstructure has been discussed. Pores forming, hooked defects, interface migration, tissue distribution have been analyzed. The organization of both sides of nugget zone (NZ) is arranged diagonally above, due to the corresponding resultant force along the thread of pin. NZ was collided to form a cascade \"onion ring\" by plastic microstructure rotating with thread of the pin and dropping from concave of mixing head conical body. Cavity defect was concerned with the poor deformation of AZ80 magnesium alloy placed underneath and relevant organization collision.","PeriodicalId":22791,"journal":{"name":"The Open Materials Science Journal","volume":"25 1","pages":"71-76"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-08-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"82309363","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The composite adsorbent was used as packing for the solid phase extraction (SPE) and the enrichment of organophosphorus pesticides (OPPs) in water. The results indicate the SWCNTs entirely wrap the silica particle surfaces to form SWCNT shells. This preparation method is simpler and more efficient than existing methods. SWCNTs@Silica composite materials can reduce the number of SWCNTs required and improve their utilisation. The extraction capacity for OOPs in water was higher than for C18 but below HLB. The developed SPE-GC-FPD method exhibited a limit of detection (LOD) and limit of quantitation (LOQ) of 0.593~1.759 µg/L and 1.95~5.80 µg/L, respectively and satisfactorily measured Jiulong river and farmland water samples.","PeriodicalId":22791,"journal":{"name":"The Open Materials Science Journal","volume":"46 3 1","pages":"86-90"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-08-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"90311589","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is a kind of unidirectional single layer fiber-reinforced composite plate. To analyze its mechanical behavior uniaxial tests with different loading directions and rates were performed. The test results indicated that the EPDM film is anisotropic and its mechanical properties are obviously rate-dependent. To create a rate-dependent anisotropic strength criterion, two methods were adopted to extend the Tsai-Hill strength criterion; the first was to substitute all the strength components in the Tsai-Hill criterion with the fitted rate-dependent ones, the second was to introduce a special factor named the rate-dependency factor !(!) into the criterion. The second method is simpler in form and more suitable for an engineering application. The two rate-dependent criteria were examined by comparing the predicted results with the experimental ones, and the results showed good agreement which verified that the strength criteria were able to reveal the anisotropic rate-dependent properties of the EPDM film.","PeriodicalId":22791,"journal":{"name":"The Open Materials Science Journal","volume":"9 1","pages":"102-106"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-08-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78833759","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
