The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between service quality and customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. Additionally, in order to fill the empirical literature gap, the role of social media has been examined as a moderator. 230 retail banking customers from Pakistan were chosen as a representative sample. Using the structured questionnaire, convenient (non-probability) sampling was employed to gather primary data from the target population. A statistical analysis of the collected data was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The findings of the study revealed that customer loyalty is significantly influenced by service quality and customer satisfaction. Furthermore, social media also influences the correlations between service quality and customer satisfaction with consumer loyalty. This study will provide retail banking management and strategists with various useful insights about how to manage service quality and customer satisfaction in relation to customer loyalty.","PeriodicalId":226115,"journal":{"name":"Review of Applied Management and Social Sciences","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127684025","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main reason behind this is due to lockdown or quarantine at home for a long time. The coronavirus infected many people some have died, and this may cause worry and ruminative thoughts that result in mental illness. This research is designed to study the significant exposure of overthinking in which we take five factors related to overthinking. For this purpose, we used a sample of 150 students from different universities in Multan via purposive and snowball sampling. The variables of the study are Rumination, Depression, Brooding, Worry, and the Mental health of the students. These were measured on the Likert scale through the questionnaire. The findings concluded that there is a positive correlation among all the variables of the study. From the correlation matrix, we see that mental health is strongly correlated with rumination and worry. Mental health is one of the causes of overthinking, it is used as a dependent variable in this study. Furthermore, a multiple linear regression model is used to check the effect of rumination, brooding, depression, and worry on mental health. Results show that rumination and worry were the significant exposures for making changes in mental health. The study concluded that as rumination and worry increase, mental health disturbs so which may result in overthinking in the students. This study will be helpful for worldwide students to overcome mental health problem and fight against overthinking during any pandemic.","PeriodicalId":226115,"journal":{"name":"Review of Applied Management and Social Sciences","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116582928","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In accordance with the social learning theory, people pick up skills from verbal, symbolic, and living role models through their behaviors. Through the use of employee perceptions of corporate social responsibility as a mediator, this research seeks to inspect the connection between participatory leadership and engagement of employees. The study is unusual because it examines the underlying mechanism between participatory leadership and commitment using employee perceived CSR as a mediator for the first time in literature. The 348 replies were gathered from hotel industry workers. The outcomes were analyzed using a structural equation modelling approach. The findings demonstrated a strong correlation between participatory leadership and employee engagement. Employee perception of CSR plays a factor in mediating the influence of participatory leadership on engagement of employees. This article explores the responsibilities of participative leaders and their influence on employee engagement using motivational and multilevel perspectives, with the mediation function of employee perception of CSR. This study has important ramifications for businesses and managers, particularly in terms of increasing employee engagement.","PeriodicalId":226115,"journal":{"name":"Review of Applied Management and Social Sciences","volume":"182 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129197053","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This quantitative study used survey data collection as a cross-sectional data collection method. The survey completed by incubators at the incubator center. The theory of the entrepreneurial mindset serves as the basis for the research framework, and smart PLS is used for the empirical study. First, the algorithm model was run to verify internal consistency. Next, a bootstrapping structural model was performed to examine the relationship between the hypotheses. Human capital mediates the indirect association between services of business incubation and entrepreneurial mentality, while services of business incubation are positively associated to entrepreneurial mindset in a direct relationship.","PeriodicalId":226115,"journal":{"name":"Review of Applied Management and Social Sciences","volume":"201 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131812481","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Russia-Ukraine war is likely bound to give birth to severe issues including economic implications for the parties involved, and for the world’s atomic states. The imposition of serious sanctions on a petro-state such as Russia will have long lasting terminal effects, one of which could be the surge in global oil prices. The economic impact of Putin’s war on Ukraine is largely political when it comes to Russia. The economic sanctions imposed on Russia by Western politicians will determine the disruptions in the supply of Brent crude oil and other exports by Russia. While as far as Ukraine is concerned, the extent of the damage caused by the Russian strikes on its infrastructure and agricultural land, will determine the disruptions in the supply of wheat, sunflower oil, and other exports. The research paper is aimed to discuss consequences of Russia-Ukraine crisis generally on South Asia and specifically on Pakistan.","PeriodicalId":226115,"journal":{"name":"Review of Applied Management and Social Sciences","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117005375","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Several studies have scrutinized the impact of economic activities and the use of energy as an input on environmental degradation but the results of these studies were not clear due to several reasons. The present study tries to verify the EKC through economic activities and environmental degradation in 81 developing countries. For analysis purposes PQR and FGLS estimations techniques have been used on the annual panel data for the period 1990-2020. The results of this study show the existence of inverted U shaped EKC between economic activities and environmental degradation. Furthermore, all the selected countries lie on the positive side of the EKC. The study concludes that the government of these countries should take effective steps for the provision of more resources to enhance economic activities without compromising the environmental quality.","PeriodicalId":226115,"journal":{"name":"Review of Applied Management and Social Sciences","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134498698","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For this purpose, study is used aggregate and disaggregate data analysis of developing countries on the basis of democracy. To tackle the endogeneity between the variables, three-stage least squares (3SLS) econometric technique is used for the current analysis by using dataset spanning over 2000-2020. Data for the variables used is obtained from different sources including World Bank, World Governance Indicator, International Country Risk Guide and World Income Inequality Database. The 3SLS result for the military expenditure shows that higher level of military expenditure reduces the income inequality and economic growth. The result for income inequality shows that it impedes the economic growth and also reduces the military expenditure in developing countries. The results of the third model of economic growth shows that increase in economic growth will negatively affects the income inequality and military expenditure. In this study, the disaggregate analysis is done on the basis of democracy level by splitting the countries into two groups namely democratic countries and authoritarian countries. The results of the democratic countries are same with the results of combine data analysis,while in the case of authoritarian countries results are same with aggregate data analysis except the economic growth which has insignificant impact.","PeriodicalId":226115,"journal":{"name":"Review of Applied Management and Social Sciences","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129647366","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
