Under some practical assumptions, the scalability of massive MIMO and coded caching alone with the number of users does not hold. On the other hand, we show that in this setting, the combination of both provides a scalable solution in most practical scenarios. Therefore, MIMO and coded caching are indeed complementary, especially under an optimal power allocation.","PeriodicalId":225413,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Advanced Technologies for Communications (ATC)","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-10-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116047908","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Unlike the classical methods, the receiver usually performs some feedback loops to stabilize the gain to control the sampling at exact position (timing) of the symbol or to synchronize and track frequency. The proposed diagram only uses a cut-off signal to detect data directly without any feedback loops. Although it is simple, the proposed diagram still obtains high stable operation and wide input dynamic range. The experiment was tested by transmitting a 64kbit image file through an embedded FPGA system. Due to the use of Manchester code, then the cost of the proposed method depends only on the bandwidth. Furthermore, the proposed diagram is more suitable for indoor transmission applications and transmitting high-speed data by using Ultra Wide Band (UWB) pulses.","PeriodicalId":225413,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Advanced Technologies for Communications (ATC)","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126157025","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The analog-to-digital converter (ADC) sampling speed for conventional DPD has to be several times the original signal bandwidth in order to cover the out-of-band intermodulation components caused by a nonlinear PA, which leads to use high-speed ADCs that tend to be the most expensive components in a transmitter with DPD. The emerge of concurrent dualband (multi-band) PAs, two (multiple) ADCs are needed to deal with each band separately. Eliminating the need to repeat the components for each band is essential to lower the complexity and cost of the DPD design. In this paper, a method to compensate for the nonlinearities in a nonlinear concurrent dual-band transmitter is presented. The method uses only one branch to feedback the PA output signal instead of two (multiple) branches in the conventional architecture. Thus, It allows the use of only one ADC with only one down-converter, hence making a complexity reduction for the design of the DPD. The results show that the implementation of a dual-band DPD can be simplified using the proposed approach without sacrificing the DPD accuracy.","PeriodicalId":225413,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Advanced Technologies for Communications (ATC)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115072433","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The review includes the development of OFDM and single-carrier transmission with frequency-domain equalization (SCFDE) as well as the birth of OFDMA and of single-carrier FDMA (SC-FDMA), which were adopted by the Mobile WiMAX and the 3GPP LTE standards. Next, we address the nonlinear distortion problems caused by the high-power amplifier (HPA) at the transmitter in wireless communications systems and describe the various techniques devised to compensate for this phenomenon in single-carrier and multicarrier transmission. We emphasize the fact that the optimum operating point of the power amplifier cannot be always achieved in practice due to the stringent spectral masks imposed. We describe ideal signal predistortion that is applicable to both single-carrier and multicarrier systems and then we discuss peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) reduction for multicarrier systems. We point out the fact that the gain achieved in terms of PAPR does not directly translate in terms of transmitted signal power for a given power amplifier. The issues highlighted in this talk are of significant interest to current 4G as well as future 5G systems.","PeriodicalId":225413,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Advanced Technologies for Communications (ATC)","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122398242","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The misspellings or typing errors often make in text editor. In MS Office applications have English spellchecking function. The current Vietnamese spellchecking methods are mostly based on Vietnamese vocabulary corpus because most words are presented in these corpus. Currently, the Ede vocabulary corpus is also being gradually improved. Therefore, Ede spellchecking basing on vocabulary corpus has a lot of difficulties. From that, the spellchecking Ede syllable basing on the Ede syllable models has been proposed. The objective of this study is building the Ede syllable spellchecking algorithm basing on the Ede syllable models. This algorithm is applied to separate the words which are not in the Ede vocabulary into two structure groups: correct and incorrect syllables. The correct syllables are saved for the input data of the Ede-Vietnamese vocabulary corpus developing application. This research has contributed to support spellchecking Ede language in text editor and to develop Ede and Ede-Vietnamese vocabulary corpus.","PeriodicalId":225413,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Advanced Technologies for Communications (ATC)","volume":"281 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122942173","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One of the key factors that determine the performance and the implementation cost of a NoC is the switching scheme. In this paper, we propose and implement a hybrid switching router based on the combination of wormhole and virtual cut-through switching schemes. The router is dynamically reconfigurable to exchange between switching schemes at run-time, therefore, it achieves higher average performance than wormhole switching, while reducing the implementation cost in comparison with the virtual cut-through switching. The router has been modelled at Register Transfer Level in VHDL language and then synthesized on Xilinx Virtex-7 FPGA technology. The experimental results show that this router can guarantee reliability and reduce latency about 30.2% and increase average throughput approximately 38.9% compared with the generic router. The area and power overhead compared with the generic router are acceptable.","PeriodicalId":225413,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Advanced Technologies for Communications (ATC)","volume":"63 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126246831","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
