In addition to designing LDPC codes based on the iterative decoding threshold as before, we add one more dimension into the design process which is a predefined number of decoding iterations. Nevertheless, there are existing cases in which these sophisticated systems fail, which has not been excavated that demands further investigation. This paper presents an attempt to build an effective algorithm in response to a cutting-edge topic in OCR, to determine the content of writing of type-written text document images in a special situation, where the source images are acquired by mobile phone camera, at a distant location. In the proposed protocol, a secondary transmitter (ST) transmits its data to a secondary receiver (SR) in presence of a secondary eavesdropper (SE) that tries to overhear the ST data. Moreover, a secondary jammer (SJ) that harvests energy from the radio frequency (RF) signals received from the ST is used to transmit jamming signals to the SE. For performance evaluation, we derive exact and asymptotic closed-form expressions of the outage probability (OP) at the SR and the intercept probability (IP) at the SE over Nakagami-m fading channels. In this paper, we propose to implement all-optical two-way relaying in dual-hop FSO systems using network coding. The relay node that is based on optical regenerate-and-forward relaying is equipped with an all-optical XOR gate and optical hard-limiters. Performance of the proposed system is analyzed under the effect of atmospheric turbulence and noise induced by the background light. Based on the closed-form expression for bit-error-rate (BER) derived in this paper, the numerical results demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed systems. However, with the increasing of video resolutions, notably from Standard Definition (SD) to High Definition (HD), FRUC is now asked to provide not only better interpolated frames quality but also lower time processing. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a novel spatial - temporal feature extraction based adaptive search range for effective FRUC. In the proposed adaptive search range scheme, a set of temporal and spatial features are carefully defined and exploited to adaptively assign an appropriate search range value to each considered block; thus, directly reducing the FRUC time processing. Moreover, since the optimal search range can be employed; the quality of interpolated frames is significantly improved. We have developed a mathematical model of the downlink system. We then comprehensively analyzed the performance of TWDM-PON/FSO-hybrid backhaul downlink while considering the impacts of various physical layer impairments of both optical fiber and wireless links. The performance of TWDM-PON/FSO systems with different service reaches is also compared to that of corresponding NG-PON2s.
