Thus, the adoption of Green IT in the organization is desirable to the society. Consideration for adoption of Green IT by decision makers in an organization will go a long way in encouraging organizations to adopt the technology since the bulk of decision making lies in the hands of business owners otherwise known as decision makers in an organization. However, few literatures have actually addressed these and there is lack of suitable theoretical model for Green IT adoption based on decision makers' intention to adopt Green IT in the organizations. In view of these, the researcher proposed a research model by integrating two theories, Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) and Norm Activation Theory (NAT). This paper is a research in progress paper which is expected to add to the current knowledge in the field of information systems, to investigate the decision maker's intention for the adoption of Green IT and sustainability. Future research is expected to empirically investigate this proposed model using Smart PLS and SPSS for further analysis.","PeriodicalId":224429,"journal":{"name":"2016 3rd International Conference on Computer and Information Sciences (ICCOINS)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128572442","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As a result, more and more users are utilizing such platforms to share their ideas and opinions to a wider audience. Young children who represents the new generation are also relying on this platform for many of their needs. Our research which was conducted among Malaysian children has found that such reliance is quite evident as well. As this need increases, the exposure to issues such as cyberbullying also increases. A survey was conducted among children from 9 to 12 years old in order to identify such reliance. The objective of this study is to identify the existing level of social media usages among Malaysian children. From the initial results, media sharing and social networking has become the most popular sites among the children. This indicates that further exploration into the usage trends among children as social media platforms becomes more utilized by the younger generation.","PeriodicalId":224429,"journal":{"name":"2016 3rd International Conference on Computer and Information Sciences (ICCOINS)","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114561723","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As the population increases, the necessity for healthcare services also increase which includes healthcare for heart patients. Heart diseases have become one of the leading causes of death. We have to take the correct precaution beforehand in order to avoid problems later on in future. Nowadays, many people are not willing to seek for medical help until their heart related conditions has worsened. Thus, Mobile Healthcare Locator System for Heart Patients (MMHLSHP) is proposed with the intention to save the patients in critical situations as w ell as m improve healthcare services for heart patients during emergency. The objective of MHLSHP is mainly tr track and show the patient's current location and to locate the nearest healthcare point, and assist in reaching to the nearest Emergency Center (EC) to seek for medical help. The location coordinates of the healthcare points can be retrieved by Global Positioning System (GPS). Using location-based services (LBS), it will provide us the exact locations of the nearest healthcare center. This paper provider the system design and architecture for MHLSHIP together with system and unit tests of the proposed system. The results indicate that MHLSHP is indeed a beneficial emergency locator system, which will enable the critical heart patients or their caregiver to locate the nearest healthcare points and inform the nearest emergency centers. The notification on emergencies will be relayed to the EC, in order for them to take immediate actions, for example, sending an ambulance to the patient's current location. The design of the proposed system can provide useful prospect for healthcare providers to enhance and develop such kind of healthcare system for heart patients.","PeriodicalId":224429,"journal":{"name":"2016 3rd International Conference on Computer and Information Sciences (ICCOINS)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127535743","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this video, humans are monitored and their actions are classified as being normal or a deviation from the norm. Local spatio-temporal features have gained attention to be an effective descriptor for action recognition in video. The problem of using texture as local descriptor is relatively unexplored. In this paper, a work on human action recognition in video is presented by proposing a fusion of appearance, motion and texture as local descriptor for the bag-of-feature model. Rigorous experiments was conducted on the recorded UTP dataset using the proposed descriptor. The average accuracy obtained was 85.92% for the fused descriptor as compared to 75.06% for the combination of shape and motion descriptor. The result shows an improved performance for the proposed descriptor over the combination of appearance and motion as local descriptor of an interest point.","PeriodicalId":224429,"journal":{"name":"2016 3rd International Conference on Computer and Information Sciences (ICCOINS)","volume":"160 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125105381","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Modelling is a known method to handle the complexity of educational games and reduce development cost via automatic code generation. This paper reviews several modelling languages for modelling educational games under the adventure genre. The objective of the review is to assess the coverage of these modelling languages against known adventure genre and flow theory concepts. The assessment result shows that existing modelling languages do not cover all concepts in the adventure genre and flow theory. The effect of not covering these concepts towards game development and game effectiveness as a learning tool are also discussed.","PeriodicalId":224429,"journal":{"name":"2016 3rd International Conference on Computer and Information Sciences (ICCOINS)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121573940","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In Small and Medium size Enterprises (SME's), Agile methods have been gaining acceptance but quality of the product it produced is remains as the major concern because the tesing methods and standards are not improved. In Agile development process, though there are many testing techniques are exists, SME's cannot afford to follow the traditional methods of testing process, because of high cost and it is a time consuming process. In this research paper, only the issues surfaced in Regression Testing and Automated Testing are analysed and proposed that exploratory testing (ET) methods either can be used as an alternative or can be integrate along with the existing testing methods. However, there is not enough research work is conducted on Exploratory testing and emphasized the importance to focus more research work to be carried out in ET.","PeriodicalId":224429,"journal":{"name":"2016 3rd International Conference on Computer and Information Sciences (ICCOINS)","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121819450","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Despite the increasing usage of m-learning, employing its full benefits is difficult due to mobile device problems such as resource scarcity and frequent disconnections. This study aims to examine the barriers to adopt m-learning by HEIs in Malaysia and explore the role of cloud computing in addressing these barriers and improve m-learning. To do so, an online questionnaire was developed. The questionnaire was distributed by email to 150 respondents (students) from three different universities in Malaysia. The result analysis brought out that mobile storage size, limitation of mobile memory and mobile battery life are the main barriers of using mobile in the learning process. And, most importantly, the majority of respondents strongly agree with the main role of cloud computing as a support for mobile learning.","PeriodicalId":224429,"journal":{"name":"2016 3rd International Conference on Computer and Information Sciences (ICCOINS)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131281072","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Since Malaysia is one of the countries with the highest number of lightning strikes in the world, the number of deaths and injuries are quite high due to low level of awareness of lightning safety and its dangers. Moreover the calculation of the lightning distance is been done manually and not so accurate. Calculating the distance between a person and the nearby lightning strike can determine whether an individual is in a safe distance from it. Hence, since most Malaysians nowadays use mobile applications on their smartphones it is an evitable to develop more flexible lightning distance calculation apps. Therefore the objective of this study is to develop a lightning distance calculator mobile application following the RAD methodology. It is consist three main phases of a development cycle iteration which are analysis and design and lastly followed by implementation. Overall the mobile application has the ability to calculate distance between lightning strike and current location and nearby city, store the records online, and mark circles on map to show possible lightning strikes area.","PeriodicalId":224429,"journal":{"name":"2016 3rd International Conference on Computer and Information Sciences (ICCOINS)","volume":"372 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131611962","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
