It is easy to search, download and install a freely available web-based content management system and rapidly opens an online shop. However, by the recent improvement of smartphone technology and with the fact that more time is spent by customers on mobile application, the conditions encourage developer to build commerce mobile application. This research aims to propose a customizable commerce mobile application that incorporate mature e-commerce business process and mobile technology in a way that seller can setup a commerce mobile application instantly without deep knowledge on its core technologies. The authors identify and examine the main features of some commerce mobile applications in mobile app market store, develop list of most used features as the user requirements, design the application architecture to support rapid customization. Finally, a prototype of this application is developed and built using available related technology. Android was the platform for the mobile application due to its popularity. The implementation focuses on the application main functions and the process was followed by testing process.","PeriodicalId":224429,"journal":{"name":"2016 3rd International Conference on Computer and Information Sciences (ICCOINS)","volume":"202 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116988566","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A quite number of researchers have proposed some algorithms in generating test paper based on some well-defined attributes such as time, question type, knowledge point, difficulty level and others. It has always been the aim of these researchers to generate high quality test paper with appropriate level of difficulty in test questions. As a result of this, Bloom taxonomy has been adopted to ensure difficulty level of test questions is appropriate. However, there is no evidence that current test items or questions in the item test bank system are classified in accordance to BT using machine learning approach. Manual classifying is tedious and laborious work and inconsistency in classifying items can take place due to different judgement from instructors. A better approach is to use machine learning namely question classifier such as Support Vector Machine to automate the classification of the test items. Despite some research work has been done on using classifiers to classify questions, there is no evidence that this type of work has been integrated into item bank test system. In view of this, this study proposes a change in existing framework of item test bank system by integrating the facility to automate classifying items in accordance to Bloom taxonomy. With all this in place, the automation of classifying questions or test items in accordance to BT with a reasonable accuracy can be achieved.","PeriodicalId":224429,"journal":{"name":"2016 3rd International Conference on Computer and Information Sciences (ICCOINS)","volume":"77 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127292072","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Different users sharing the same physical machines or even software on frequent basis make cloud vulnerable to many security threats. Side channel attacks are the most probable attacks in cloud because of physical resource sharing. In cloud, where multiple Virtual Machines (VM) share same physical machine creates a great opportunity to carry out Cache-based Side Channel Attack (CSCA). In this paper, a novel detection technique using Bloom Filter (BF) for CSCA is designed. This technique treats cache miss sequence as a signature of CSCA and uses a difference mean calculator to generate these signatures. This technique is adaptive, which makes it possible to detect the CSCA with new patterns, which are not observed yet. Bloom filter is used in this technique to reduce the performance overhead to minimum level. The solution is implemented with a cache simulator and proved very effective as it has very less execution time in comparison to the execution time of CSCA.","PeriodicalId":224429,"journal":{"name":"2016 3rd International Conference on Computer and Information Sciences (ICCOINS)","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125027416","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A variant algorithm of trial division of sieve of Eratosthenes, with its digits split into two unequal components and whose growth centered on displacement from its immediate neighbors (i.e., Polignac and Goldbach theorems) was fashioned out. As challenged by Euler's verdict on non-existence of a function that completely generates only primes, our formulation was based both upon multiple linear regression analysis hoping to find a multi-variate function, of degree at most 3, which can predict primes and comparison to Akaike Information Criterion (AIC) for model selection. About 20 billion lower primes of digits less than or equal 12 were subjected to various validation techniques (e.g., Sloane's A006988) and other heuristics for benchmarking purposes. Our results reveal certain desirable features illuminating prime patterns regardless of their chaotic camouflage.","PeriodicalId":224429,"journal":{"name":"2016 3rd International Conference on Computer and Information Sciences (ICCOINS)","volume":"69 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125515054","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Trust has become one of the crucial elements in persuasive technology apart of credibility. This paper investigated trust in terms of cognitive and affective perception in relationship of human-computer interaction with persuasive technologies particularly in fitness application and educational games on environmental sustainability. A study was conducted with 25 participants for 6 weeks which requires them to use both categories of persuasive technologies. The result shows that the lack of trust problem in using persuasive technology found to be strongly significant. Cognitive trust perception is the main perception that leads users in making trust decision compared to affective trust.","PeriodicalId":224429,"journal":{"name":"2016 3rd International Conference on Computer and Information Sciences (ICCOINS)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128970781","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The communication does not only engage simple data passing but also involve the connection of two or more services coordinating the prescribed activities. In the case when services are distributed across multiple platforms, cross-platform communication is required in the coordination process. In the current implementation of SOA, several specifications and standards of Web services are employed. However, the communication of SOA applications distributed across multiple platforms cannot be guaranteed due to differences in the specifications and Web services standard supported by the different platforms. Translation Model is proposed to ensure the translation of communicated messages among different Web services hosted in different platforms. The aim is to provide a flexible translation process to support the cross-platform communication. As a proof of concept, the research work is implemented on a case study involving the real world SOA application on agent-based trading system.","PeriodicalId":224429,"journal":{"name":"2016 3rd International Conference on Computer and Information Sciences (ICCOINS)","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130342207","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One of established ways of improving process performance is to assign most appropriate resources to each task of the process. However, an evaluation of business process improvement approaches have established that a method that can guide the task of process improvement in a structured way is missing. To address this problem the aim of this research is to present a method that can compute competency of resources. The computed competencies serve as a basis for choosing most appropriate resource for each task of the process. The applicability of the proposed method is illustrated with health care example.","PeriodicalId":224429,"journal":{"name":"2016 3rd International Conference on Computer and Information Sciences (ICCOINS)","volume":"78 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123970807","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It plays an import role in digit recognition and optical character recognition. In this research work, a new method based on label propagation algorithm for handwritten digits recognition is presented. An entropy based feature extraction is hired to evaluate the confidence coefficient for each training digit character. The confidence coefficient will feedback to label propagation algorithm. The label propagation algorithm will retrain again by the guide of feedback from confidence coefficient. According to the experiment results, an overall high recognition rate 98% and recall rate 98% are achieved on the test dataset. It is proved that the proposed handwritten digits recognition algorithm is simple but effective.","PeriodicalId":224429,"journal":{"name":"2016 3rd International Conference on Computer and Information Sciences (ICCOINS)","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121475290","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
