This paper proposes an interactive pen tool, which transforms the actions in real space into the virtual three-dimensional CAD system space. Augmented Reality technology is used to track the operator's action in the real world. The design and principle of the interactive tool are introduced in detail. In addition, the experimental system is provided to illustrate a simple process of curves designing and the statistics result of tracking error is also given.","PeriodicalId":223866,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Image Analysis and Signal Processing","volume":"156 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-04-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125777271","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, most existing approaches construct a visual vocabulary by simply clustering image regions represented with low-level visual features, where spatial context of image regions has not been well utilized. In this paper, we present two techniques to take such a context into account. One is based on the Self-Organizing Map for Adaptive Processing of Structured Data (SOM-SD), and the other is based on our proposed Hierarchical Fuzzy C-means with Spatial Constraints (FCM-HS). We have employed these two methods together with language modeling for image categorization. Experimental results obtained on Caltech dataset have demonstrated that these two methods can achieve better classification performance than those without considering spatial context. The comparison of these two methods is also discussed in this paper.","PeriodicalId":223866,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Image Analysis and Signal Processing","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-04-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126592655","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

First, 3D facial scans are segmented and four feature points of each face are detected for rough alignment the by Absolute Orientation method. Then a modified Iterative Closest Point (ICP) algorithm is employed for range image registration. A Simulated Annealing (SA) based approach with the Surface Interpenetration Measure (SIM), as similarity measure, is used for final matching. The watermarking process is carried out during JPEG quantization process. Firstly, each 8×8 DCT coefficients block is subdivided into 4 groups based on logistic system; then, in order to obtain the watermarked JPEG image, all of the groups are check coded by the check bits. The watermarked JPEG image remains high quality. The tamper probability is determined by checking the DCT coefficients groups.","PeriodicalId":223866,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Image Analysis and Signal Processing","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-04-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128473966","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Firstly, a monotonically decreasing sequence of bandwidths was fixed according to the target scale. At each bandwidth, using mean shift to find out the maximum probability, and starting the next iteration at the previous convergence location. Finally, the best optimal mode could be obtained at the last bandwidth. To accelerate the convergence, over-relaxed strategy was introduced to enlarge the step size. Under the convergence rule, the learning rate was adaptively adjusted by Bhattacharyya coefficients of consecutive iteration convergence. The experimental results show that the proposed multi-bandwidth mean shift tracker is robust in high-speed object tracking, and perform well in occlusions. The adaptive over-relaxed strategy is effective to lower the convergence iterations by enlarging the step size.","PeriodicalId":223866,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Image Analysis and Signal Processing","volume":"54 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-04-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132202122","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The local geometrical and discriminant structure of the data manifold can be accurately characterized by within-class neighboring graph and between-class neighboring graph. Unlike manifold learning, such as LLE, Isomap and LE, which cannot deal with new test samples and images larger than 70×70, the method here can process full scene hyperspectral images. Experiments results on hyperspectral datasets and real-word datasets show that the proposed method can efficiently reduce the dimensionality while maintaining high classification accuracy.
