Driving a vehicle requires unwavered attention of driver. Moreover, activities which require the driver to take his eyes off the road for an extended period can lead to fatal accidents. The driver should focus on the road ahead all the time. Another reason for increasing road accidents is fatigue, wherein the driver unknowingly loses focus on the driving activity, primarily due to sleep deprivation. Driving in an inattentive state reduces driver’s ability to react to situations and reduces control over vehicle. Road mishaps can be avoided if driver is provided timely alert when a distracted state is detected. In this paper we propose to minimize distraction by alerting the driver as soon as signs of distraction are detected. The implemented methodology uses a camera mounted in car. This proposed solution detects distraction using two parallelly computed functions, one function computes distraction based on the position of the pupil and the other function calculates drowsiness. If either of the two parameters detects distraction, a sound alert is generated.","PeriodicalId":221994,"journal":{"name":"2019 1st International Conference on Advances in Information Technology (ICAIT)","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130444651","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In day to day life current news are helpful to enhance knowledge what happen around the world. So most of peoples prefer watching news most of the peoples generally prefer reading newspaper early in the morning enjoying with cup of tea. If news is fake that will mislead peoples sometimes fake news utilized to spread rumors about things or it will affect some political leader positions just because of fake news. So it’s crucial to find the fake news. So we proposed system to detect fake news but now a day’s data on web or social media is increasing vastly and it is so hectic to detect news is fake or not by looking all data and it is time consuming so we utilize classification techniques to classify huge data. Here we proposed fake news detection system based on classification such as Logistic regression (LR), Naïve bayes (NB), Support vector machine (SVM), Random forest (RF) and deep neural network (DNN). We compare all machine learning techniques for detecting fake news.","PeriodicalId":221994,"journal":{"name":"2019 1st International Conference on Advances in Information Technology (ICAIT)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130505131","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These fractional systems are easy to solve due to availability of many methods. Further the adaptiveness in the fractional order provide an additional degree of freedom in optimization of performance. In many fields of image processing the fractional order-based methods have been extensively used. These fields include Image enhancements, image de-noising, image segmentation, image compression, image restoration etc. Totally it is a well proved fundamental mathematical tool in image processing.","PeriodicalId":221994,"journal":{"name":"2019 1st International Conference on Advances in Information Technology (ICAIT)","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128309203","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Finding for a particular image/s accurately in the repository poses the challenge. The aim of the proposed work is to search for relevant images from the repository based on user query image. In this work, the low-level features of images present in themselves such as edges and gray levels are used to retrieve the similar images. A novel approach is proposed in this paper by using a new filter applied on images called Heron mean filter, to smoothen the image, then combination of the edge features extracted by Fast and Adaptive Bidimensional Empirical Mode Decomposition (FABEMD) technique and gray level features through histogram. The experiments are conducted using Wang’s dataset of 10 categories of 100 images each. The tabulated results are obtained by using different similarity measures like Euclidean distance and Bhattacharya’s Co-efficient method. It is observed from the results that there is an improvement in the proposed system in terms of average precision and average recall, against the existing system.","PeriodicalId":221994,"journal":{"name":"2019 1st International Conference on Advances in Information Technology (ICAIT)","volume":"121 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132081645","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We propose a semantic matcher based approach for identifying the relevant sentences in the corpus pertaining to the prominent entities in the corpus and their relationships in the user query. Trained models are created from the corpus by leveraging word-embeddings and are semantically searched to retrieve top results of the user query. Top matched sentences are analyzed for coherence based on semantic chains leveraging Semantic Role Labeler and are summarized, where entity relationships are exploited. The approach is applied and tested on user query based Ticketing System where policy documents in IT industry are used as corpus and specific summaries in the form of steps to be followed are created according to the user query.","PeriodicalId":221994,"journal":{"name":"2019 1st International Conference on Advances in Information Technology (ICAIT)","volume":"35 10","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114021013","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
